Love you

Darren removed his shoes and found that there was extra pair of shoes that does not belong to him in the shoes cabinet. He looked up not surprised to see a familiar concerned face looking at him. She smiled at him gently with both of her arms wide open welcoming him to her embrace. The tiredness and annoyance he felt earlier all disappeared. In fact, he was just thinking on how to solve their earlier conflict.

He rushed into her embrace and gave her a tight hug, never wanting to let go. Her body went stiff when she felt his breath on her neck. The emotions that she had been keeping at bay all exploded out the moment they touched. She could not help but sobbed silently in his arm. The feeling of being wronged earlier, followed by an overwhelmed satisfaction on how he dealt with Kira, made her all vulnerable causing her to unable to control her emotions. This man definitely know how to stir her emotions.

He was surprised when he felt her trembled in his arms followed by a wet sensation on his chest. He pulled back only to find her crying silently. He felt guilty because he caused her to cry when all he wanted was to make her happy yet here she is crying because of his attitude. He caress the back of her head lovingly and said, "I'm sorry for over reacting, I was just worried about your safety. There's many of our enemies lurking around in the dark."

Hearing his gentle apology made her sobbed harder and this time some noise escaped from her as well. This is her man, the person she chose to accept, she had not chose wrongly. He had passed her high standard and he had not let her down. Processing all these information, she knew her feelings for this man is deeper than she was willing to admit.

His heart felt heavier when he felt her sobbed harder against his chest. He pulled her closer to him while whispering words of love. After 10 mins, she finally stopped weeping. He could feel her relaxed against him. He then tilt her head up, wiped her tears and brush the tip of her nose against his. She blushed hard and freaked out because she must really look horrendous. She pushed him away before running away to the washroom.

He smiled helplessly as he watched her figure disappeared behind the door. This sort of feeling, having her around is not bad. A thought popped into his head, a marriage proposal! He smiled at the thought of her shocked face if he proposed. Thinking from the time of their first interaction, things seems to have progressed like a bullet train. Despite it, he knows he is making the right decision. Love cannot be judged by the duration of knowing one another. Some people marry after many years of courtship, some after an arranged marriage. What they don't know is that the secret of a lasting relationship is how much both party willing to work and compromise in order to maintain the relationship.

Just as he was planning his proposal, his phone rang and he knew he had to leave and follow up on the crows' lead. Shin Tong who was still blushing hard in the washroom was interrupted by the knock on the door. She peeked her head out but before she could say a word, he claimed her lips and gave her a deep kiss. After a minute or two, he finally released her now swollen lips.

"I have some things to take care of, you stay here and wait till I'm back. I might be late, just order some take out if you are hungry. Don't stay up for me. If you want to head back home, just call Ah Tim, this is his number, he'll send you back. A..aa.. No room for discussion, this is for your safety," he said firmly when he saw she wanted to refuse Ah Tim's service.

"Just think of it as giving me a peace of mind. I need to make sure the woman I love is safe and sound," he added before giving her a light kiss. He did not wait for her reply and stride out. She stood there frozen on the same spot replaying his words in her mind. He loves her. She felt herself floating and her heart felt like it could burst out any moment out of happiness. She wanted to call Ru Ran and share the news only to realised that Ru Ran is at the hospital and is still weak. The thought of Ru Ran suffering suppressed her initial excitement.

Darren came out of his building to witness Kira stubbornly arguing with the security personnels he had instructed to remove her from the front of his door. She kept calling out to him but he walked on ahead refusing to look at her. He entered a black van that had been waiting for him.

"Boss, after analysing the crows movements and their GPS input, that man visited three places after he killed the nurse. We think this may be their base. This one, the crows could not enter and it seems to be an underground place. The other two places, one is a brothel and the other one is a hospital. What should we do?," reported Ban Hong.

Darren kept silent after listening to Ban Hong's analysis. Looking at the map and the location of Ah Li's probable base, he said," I want to know what that man did at the hospital and who did he meet? They must be planning something since they didn't manage to kill madam."

"About the base, we need to scout the area, send men to survey the parameters of the area but not to alert anyone. I want you guys to know every single people that comes in and out of that building. We must not alert the snake and be careful. Let's go and check out the hospital. Send someone to check on the brothel as well as to who did he meet, " he added.
