11/ Room of Requirement

When we brought Neville to the infirmary we were interrogated by Mrs Pomfrey and we lied saying that we found him unconscious in one of the corridors.

She didn't seem convinced but let us go to dinner. We came back just after and we ended up sleeping in our chairs.

When I woke up I saw Neville awake looking at me, "Welcome back Neville " I said " You scared us when we saw you falling on the ground "

" Sorry for that it was too much for me, I won't faint the next time " he said with a smile

" I know, you are a brave guy Neville " I said happily

" Alex I would like to talk to you about something, you see I had a dream where I went through the main event of my childhood and the last thing I've seen was a memory I couldn't remember but I think you do " he said hoping an answer from me

" I think I know what are you talking about, it's about the day in the forest with the wolves. You didn't seem to remember all of what happened when you woke up even the fact that you awakened your magic so I decided to not tell you the events of this day because maybe your brain wanted to avoid a trauma " I replied

" I see, I'm not angry at you for that after all your actions were for my sake, it was a little bit reckless of you to bring me in the forest but I don't think I will awaken my magic if it wasn't that extreme. " he said

" Oh Neville you are awake ! I was very worried for you, even though I could understand how traumatic the sight was " she said staring at me when she said the last part of her sentence.

The next day Neville could leave the hospital wing and returned in class. Letha transformed back in a cat and returned to the school.

As for me I spent all my free time searching for the Room of Requirement, I needed a training room as soon as possible in order to improve my fighting style.

During my fight with the spiders I could see I relied too much on Letha and even Richie was more efficient than me. Even though what I did is very impressive for a first year student, it's not enough to keep me safe from threats.

Voldemort is not a fool who will let me fight with Letha, I'll have to fight him by myself.

My allies won't deal with the Dark Lord for me. I have to beat him, I don't know anymore if Harry is destined to kill him or not, I can't be lazy now, so much things can be changed or have been already changed compared to the books.

If I want to fight equal to equal with Voldemort I have to improve. In order to improve I will train myself a lot during the following years.

I need to train my friends as well but I should take care of myself before taking care of others.

" Only if I possessed a time turner I would have more free time dedicated for training. " I thought

" I think my father will be useful sooner than expected " I mumble to myself, a large smile on my face

After one day of research I finally found the Room of Requirement, it was was harder to find than expected, I have to say that this school is huge, find something here is relatively hard, and luck is your only ally in this task.

After that I asked, no I begged Hermione to do my homework for me because I should do something during this year. She completely refused no matter how hard I argued against her so I started to be angry at her, she valued school too much and even if I wasn't surprised, I found that a little annoying.

" If you even don't want to do that for me, can I even considered you as my friend, Hermione.

You know friends help each other usually and you know exactly how many times I helped you " I said with a sad face

She was dumbstruck by my words she couldn't even say a word and then I added " Fine, have a good day Hermione I hope you will get full marks on your final exams, it the thing which matter the most to you after all "

I knew I was harsh with her but if she didn't want to change and review her priorities I had to push her.

I left Hermione, who didn't move as if she was stuck on the floor. I searched Neville and he agreed to help me with my homework for the entire year.

" You are such a good friend, buddy, unlike a certain school addict girl " I said with sarcasm

"You and Hermione had a fight ? " Neville asked

" It's more like me realizing that our friendship didn't mean anything to her " I replied

" you will stop to be friend with her ? " he asked

" If she didn't change she can forget me I don't like people who can' do anything for their friends " I replied and we stopped to talk about her after that.

I told him about the Room of Requirement and about what I have to do and why. I told him all I knew this past day, it was a very good feeling. I think I needed to share all those infos with someone, open up to Neville was a good choice.

I spent my Sunday with my pets, Letha and Richie, thinking how I could use the best the RoR (Room of Requirement). I thought about my style of fighting and how I could be the most efficient.

The next day was Monday, I sent a letter to my father because I want him to send me a time-turner, with this object I'l have more time in the RoR. I decided to enter the RoR today to see what kind of room it will be when I'll think of my training.

" I will have close to 3 hours in the RoR before dinner it will be enough for a test and a quick analyse of the room " I said

Then I opened the door and entered quickly, the room was huge, there were libraries filled with books I never seen, probably coming from the restricted area, there were also dummies to practice, they were very realist and they have similar reaction of a human and they obeyed all of my orders, it was really good for my future training.

There was also a huge screen where I could see a training physical program and basic auto defense methods and also a guide about how to use a dagger efficiently. All of this was very modern I didn't know the RoR could do that.

" Let's go try all of this until dinner time " I said for myself
