Holding a banquet

Grom could not believe what he just heard... he was sad that the once so great clan was gone... but he was happy to see that Loken managed to survive... he looked at Loken with warmth in his eyes and said: "Seems like you are not the only survivor of the main clan, what is his name?" Loken then looked at Grom and said: "I named him Ragnar... I can not give you an explanation right now but this child is the hope that made me leave the Lightninggoddomain... he will change this world that is why I named him Ragnar." Grom looked at Ragnar and nodded... he did not think too deep into it... he just thought that Loken was an ambitious father wanting to change the world and hoping for the best of his child... as every father would.

Soon some of the Family members brought in food, wine, tee and much more... the whole table was filled with delicacies... Grom said: "Dig in... do not hold back... and... I am truly sorry for turning you down before... of course, you can stay here and you do not even have to work... you have experienced more than enough bad things in this life, you can take a rest and focus on raising Ragnar, Master" Loken was relieved to hear that... he felt that the old man before him truly regarded Loken as family and was happy to have a place where he could live peacefully... but Loken than said: "I did not come here for charity... I came here to become stronger... if I lean back and do nothing I will lose sight of that goal."

"Here are some books and scrolls from our ancestors... I am simply too weak to comprehend what some of these mean... maybe you can make good use of it and teach me in the future... and please stop calling me, Master... my name is Loken I am just a nobody." When Loken handed it over to Grom... Groms eyes began to shine... he was really curious about the content of these writings. "Thank you, Mast... eh, Loken" Grom chose to comply with Loken's demands and called him by name. "Before I forget it... this is a gift from me... I managed to rob some of the supply of Blackiron from the Lighninggoddomain. That sword in your shelve is one that I personally made... if possible I want to teach everyone the uses of that peculiar Iron."

Grom finally understood that Loken really did not come here to settle down... he was preparing to become stronger... but what for... does he want to fight the Lightninggoddomain? They tried, for 2000 years, to weaken them and free all Humans from them to no avail. When Loken handed Grom the ring with the Blackiron he was speechless... this was not simply robbing some of their supply. This was enough to equip every soldier of the Stormclouddomain with weapon and armor. "Remember to let me teach you about it... I have made some huge discoveries about it... if not handled carefully the whole city may be exterminated. Grom placed the ring away and said: "Understood... Settle down for a few days and then we will hold a family banquet to announce your return... after that, we will let you teach our blacksmiths how to handle that Iron."

"If possible I want to stay hidden... low profil... could you arrange it so that I am just a long lost child that found his way home... not mentioning me being from the main clan. I hate standing out." Grom was sighing... he then said: "But you are the legitimate head of the clan" Loken knew that Grom would say that, but he just said: "I am unworthy to be the head of a clan... I lived in hiding and acted like a coward my whole life... I am not qualified to stand at the top... but if a day may come where I feel that I am strong enough I will take on the position... you are more suited for it... tell everyone that I am a nephew of you that was sent on a secret mission to find the location of the main clan inside the Lightninggoddomain and that is how I obtained the Blackiron failing to find any clues." Loken was very good at coming up with explanations... since his whole life was a disguise he was used to improvising and find reasons everyone could more or less accept.

Grom was reluctant to do so but he accepted Loken's suggestion and told everyone to regard him as a long lost cousin... and prepare a place for him to live... the banquet would be held in two days to celebrate his return... that was the only thing Loken could not get away from so in the end he agreed to the banquet. When Loken arrived at the hut, that was prepared for him he was surprised to see that high quality of interior furniture... there was even a door leading to a hidden room downstairs like the one he had before. He prepared something to eat for Ragnar, then he prepared a bath for both of them and soon after headed to bed and take a rest from their long journey. They laid in a very comfortable bed and had a very relaxing sleep.

Back at the blacksmith workshop at the fifth floor Grom was kneeling in front of an old man with a walking-stick "Mylord, he is just as you told me... righteous but cautious... he likes to stand back but has the heart at the right spot." The old man with the walking-stick grinned and said: "Let us see what he will accomplish" he then turned around and left. Grom was in a very good mood and headed to a hidden room on the fifth floor... he wanted to study the books and scrolls Loken gave him.

After a few days of rest, Loken was Feeling really good. It was now the day for the family banquet... a lot of food and wine was brought into the Clans hall which was right behind the blacksmith workshop there were more than just Blacksmiths in the clan... a lot of young man and woman seemed to be cultivators... which train in either Spirit or Body arts... most of them had a cultivation base of a tier four apprentice... some even were expert level. Everyone was astonished to hear that Loken was a cosine of them and was on a secret mission to infiltrate the Lightninggoddomain... some did not even need to think about it too much and just accepted him as a family member but some doubted his abilities... a huge young-looking man walked over to Loken and said: "Welcome home cousin... I am Torken, I heard you were on a mission in the Lightninggoddomain to find the main clan... could it be that you failed your Mission??" Loken looked at Torken and knew what he was after... "Since you already know why bother asking?" Torken was taken aback he was known for being a promising genius that would become a very powerful person in the future... no one dared to talk back to him in such a manner. "Since you are so confident why not show me how useless you are and why you came back empty-handed." As Torken said this, the clan head Grom stood up and wanted to say something but was signaled by Loken to just let him handle it.
