"Alexa?"


" Or Lina? What should I call you?" 


Yang suddenly asked grabbing her wrist.


Lina remain frozen on the spot. Her hands were trembling. Her heart sank. She was scared to death.



Yang walked in front of her and made her look look straight into his eyes.


"Wha... what are you talking about??" 


Lina fumbled and looked down couldn't keeping up with his cold stare.


He chuckled.


Without breaking the eye-contact he held up her chin. His thumb was caressing her cheeks.


Suddenly he removed her glasses ignoring her struggle to break free her hand from his.


Without the glasses her ocean blue eyes were throwing daggers to him.


"It seems that you forgot something today Miss Ray."



" What.. what are you talking about? And It's Miss Park or Lina Park, for your kind information Mr. Lu. Not me, but You seem to be forgetful nowadays." 


She slapped away his hands.


 "Now give me back my glasses. Would you please Mr. Lu? I still have cases to take care of."





How far can you go for love? How far can you go for friendship? How far can you go to keep the deepest pain in your heart only to yourself?

That was never the cup of tea for Lina. But she fell hard for someone. Someone who never look back. Someone who didn't keep his promise to her. Someone whom she couldn't forget no matter how hard she tried.

Somewhere , Someday

Lina was still shivering from shock due to the encounter.


She hurriedly left the lecture theater to calm down her rapidly beating heart. She could not believe that she had shaken hand with 'the legend Lu' ...!! And that electric jolt!!


Lina stared at her hand which was still warm from the previous handshake.


" I met him.!! I met him !! I talked to him …!! OMG" Lina screamed in her mind.


She was the happiest girl today. "I talked to him. ' Finally '."


Unknown to him Lu Yang held a sacred place in her heart.  She had immense respect for him.


It was the fresher's party where Lina first heard of Lu Yang. One of her classmate was describing his story he heard from his seniors.


 Lu Yang was the star student of X high school, one of the most prestigious schools in B city.  Everyone hoped that he will shine brightly in future knowing his potential. He graduated from high school by securing 2nd place in the province. 


But, not everything goes according to one's plan.


On his way back from the graduation party he faced an accident which sent him to an 11 months long coma.  He developed partial paralysis which restricted him from moving his left leg.


With his inhuman willpower not only did he appear in the entrance exam but secured his name in the top ten list while still receiving physio-therapy.


Knowing his story, Lina found strength that time and still this day, his style of study, his will to play games, his will to fight back the odds inspire her. Every little thing about him made him special and unknowingly closer to her heart.


Lina never thought of fall in love again after the incident that broke her down totally. It took a lot of time to get rid of her previous life. She vowed to never fall in love.


Lina left her home and came so far to stop the lingering feelings left in her heart.


Lina was never a bad student neither the best though. She tried her best preparing for medical school entrance test so that she can run away from B city. Securing a good rank was the last hope for her. 


She was tensed as hell on the day of result declaration. She prayed to god just to give her a chance to start a new life. Lina was tired of the year-long dilemma she had dragged herself into.


'Yeeeessss! I did it.' She thanked God after checking the results.


Taking admission in this college far away from home opened a new door to her. Lina thought everything will be alright now. But she was still afraid of knocking at the door of light until the day she heard of him.


"If he can start a fresh in spite of all the obstacles, why can't I?" She questioned herself.


That was another life-changing moment for her. Lina started looking for new opportunities' life was offering to her.


In a word, unknowingly he became the lifesaver for her. 


Lu Yang was her inspiration. The reason behind her will to survive. The man who changed the story of her life.


Day by day he was conquering a little more space in her heart. 


Lina used to talk about him a lot to her sister according to whom she was having a huge crush on him which she was trying to deny. 


Rini used to laugh a lot hearing her sister's denials.
