"Calm down Lina!"
She literally ran towards the rest room after leaving the lecture hall.
Lina splashed cold water on her face and stared at her reflection in the adjacent mirror seeing a tinge of fainted redness on her cheeks.
'Did I just blush?' she shook her head vigorously. 'Shame on you Lina! How could you do this?'
Composing her state Lina decided to head off to the library.
"I need to calm down" she whispered.

"Good morning Mrs. Smith."
Lina wished the senior librarian of the central library, Mrs. Smith who was looking through the pages of the latest journal.
"Hello there Ms. Park ! How are you?" She greeted her.
Lina signed in the register book. " I'm fine Mrs. Smith. Hope you're doing well. "
" Yeah child. No more class today?"
"Not now. Got classes in the evening."
Lina turned back towards her usual seat, the last corner of the library, behind the book racks, just beside a large window, devoid of all the noises out there. She loved the view through the window and the quietness there.
She was a regular of library. It was her second favorite place in college after the lake behind the Surgery building.
"Ah! Ms. Park, I guess the seat is not vacant today." Mrs Smith called her back.
She halted in her steps and turned back. "Huh.??"
"Someone has already occupied your seat." Mrs Smith stated.
'Who might sit there ?' she wondered as it was quite far and a rather shabby corner generally none wished to sit there if there is no place left in the hall. That was another reason Lina liked the corner.
"No problem Mrs. Smith, I'll manage."
Lina headed to the place wondering who it might be.
She was astonished for the second time that day.
To her surprise Henry 'the legend' Lu was sitting there, rushing through the pages of Harrison. Pile of books was scattered on the table.
Rays of sunlight were falling on his smooth skin. The half rolled sleeves were giving glimpse of prominent veins of forearm. Lu Yang was just sitting there lazily turning pages.
The view reminded her of Adonis from the Greek mythology.
'Now I get it. Why all those girls used to gather here just to steal a glimpse of him studying books. I mean Who wouldn't enjoy such treat. !' Lina shook her head in understanding.
Lina stood there looking at him calm face, inwardly drooling over his striking features., counting his long lashes. She wished she could have ruffled his brown hairs.
Her heart skipped a beat. Again. For the second time the day.
Yang didn't react a bit even after feeling such burning gaze upon himself. He was aware of her presence since the moment she entered the room.
He was silently enjoying her attention.
Lina being a regular here was not new to him. Once by chance he heard her telling Mrs. Smith it was her "stress relieving place".
Since then, he used to take a bait and come here looking for her, grabbing a book and sitting near the tables and watch her sitting by the window through the tiny holes of book racks.
Today also he took the chance to come and sat on her favorite spot waiting for her reaction.
'Wow! Such view!!" He was pleased to see the beauty of nature through the window.
'No wonder she loves this place.' Yang muttered to himself, looking through the pages of medicine book, patiently waiting for her arrival.
'Will she come today or not ?'
He felt butterflies flying in his stomach when he realized she has arrived.
He looked at her through the corner of his eyes.
Her now dry hair was collected in a messy bun. There were traces of water droplets on her face. A pair of black eyes was sparkling behind the glasses. Lips were partly open. Prominent Cheekbones were giving a tinge of redness. White casual shirt with denim were stuck to her curves giving her mixed ethnicity a new vibe. Yang was so much awestruck by the view in front that he even forgot to blink.
Yang averted his gaze as soon feeling her eyes on him. He was afraid of getting caught of stealing glances. He smirked inwardly seeing her flushed expression. 'Is it possible that she likes me too?'
" Like what you see? "
