CH 35

When Analese got to the kitchen she saw Jace on one knee with a ring in his hand. She was so happy she barely heard him ask her to marry him.

After a few minutes of silence Jace stood up and asked if that means no and started to put the ring away.

When Analese saw this she rushed over to him and grabbed the ring and put it on.

After inspecting the ring for a while she smiled and told Jace it would always be yes.

That Saturday Jace and Analese went over to his parents house before going to see Theo's debut in the MLB.

When they got there Brittany was already there talking to Jace's mom.

Jace went and talked to his dad while the 3 women talked in the kitchen.

While Jace and Steve were talking about contracts and future plans they heard a girlish screech.

Steve was about to run into the kitchen when Jace told him Analese must have told the other 2 about the engagement.

Steve told Jace to follow him outside. Once outside Steve looked at him and told him for his marriage to work he had 2 options.

Number one quit taking contracts. Number 2 tell her everything before the wedding.

Jace looked confused and thought he could hide it from his soon to be wife.

Seeing this Steve told him he at first tried hiding it from Janine but the longer they were married the harder it got.

Plus once she found out what he really did it almost ended their marriage. He also told him that hiding it means constantly lying to her.

After thinking about it Jace knew he wouldnt be able to lie to his future wife without losing part of himself.

Jace told His dad that he would think about it and make his decision before the wedding.

Steve gave him a hug and congratulated him on his engagement. Then they headed inside to the pitching knowing lunch should almost be done.

When Jace got to the kitchen he was immediately hugged by his mom and told how happy she was for him.

While every one ate lunch Steve asked if Analese had informed her parents yet.

Before she could answer Jace told them that atleast her dad knows cause he asked his permission a few weeks prior to asking.

After every one was done eating they all got into Janines SUV and headed to the stadium.
