Vasurgards Lightray!

When the dome of light vanished, there was someone new standing, between the shortly colliding church and Vasurgards forces.

It was an old man around his sixties. With white hair hanging to his shoulders, and a blueish robe with mystical looking symbols engraved on them. Besides this, the man's right hand was also grasping a wooden staff longer than himself.

The old man's name was Fahjar, Nei's just shortly before recruited magician.

When Nei had finished using his one and only free recruitment, he had Fahjar, without any prior knowledge of the church's and Vasurgards ongoing conflict, teleported to the mainland.

Fortunately for him, in time, before there was nothing left of the church to be saved—due to the outbroken battle.

The moment Fahjar arrived, he scanned his surroundings, there was a church in the distant and a few wooden logs; except that he also saw two groups of men—on one side were a hundred charging in battle armor clad soldiers, on the other scared peasants with farming tools as weapons. It didn't take him long to come to the conclusion that a collision between the forces was imminent. And he was the center of this collision.

Slowly wielding the heavy looking magic wand through the air and into the sky—he abruptly but still gently knocked on the earth before him.

But not a millimeter before the ground and the wand touched, it stopped. Similar to hitting an invisible and indestructible wall. But this wasn't the end of it yet; at the point were wand and wall ran into each other, endlessly condensed mana was released, producing something entirely different.

That created a gigantic wind storm around Fahjar, throwing all of lord Vasurgards elite troops into the air—and breaking their charge.

Looking at the backwards flying soldiers, Fahjar increased the volume of his voice and the distance it could travel with a spell, calmly he spoke. "I am the lord god's messenger, sent from his divine kingdom to spread his name and faith in the 5 continents. Your ignorance shall be forgiven only this once, because our god is merciful... but to show the world that we won't be bullied or tolerate insolent behavior to our god, at least one men will be made into an example by me, Fahjar!"

Listening to Fahjar's self proclamation; the followers of the Ramen church, the towns militia, and even the three priest, couldn't understand or follow the happenings anymore.

First being blinded by a dome of light coming from the sky, only seconds before the fight. Then thrown through the air by a terrific kind of energy, unknown to them. Making both parties unsure if foe or friend. Then finally hearing and seeing the culprit standing unharmed and calm at the point were the blinding light had hit.

However after perceiving the meaning of the mages words, another round of surprise went through their brains. Especially so for Vasurgards battle hardened warriors.

The church's group was overcome with joy and relieve, becoming jubilant. While the towns soldiers had expression of hate and fear.

Standing up from the ground covered in dirt, the troops captain looked furiously into the deep blue eyes of Fahjar, and shouted. "You want to make me into an example? Even an apprentice mage can use spells like these!.. But not many of them—let me see for myself how many you can cast."

Grabbing his fallen sword, the captain threw himself at his opponent, putting everything into the charge.

Fahjar on the other hand, could only shake his head and murmur, "As it's already been proven by our ancestors, ignorance shall always be bliss.." waving his mysterious wand in a weird looking line, while chanting strange sounding words in low voices—a constantly expanding mass in form of a ball appeared in his hands.

The captain was an experienced fighter, so when he saw the ball he instantly understood what its meaning, 'The spell of a true elemental mage..nNOO!' although he now knew that he gravely underestimated his enemy, he had already put all of his energy in this one finale charge. With no escaping of the fear invoking spells path, he could only continue onwards.

"ARghh.." When Fhajar's spell pierced through him, the captain let out a unimaginable horrifying scream; before exploding into a thousand little pieces—falling on his own soldiers body's.

With the scream signaling defeat, the last fire of hope in the men was extinguished too. Some fled for fear of death and others attacked, desperate for life and revenge.

But in the end all those who choose to once again challenge Fahjar, made similar gruesome sounds to that of the captain, only moments later. While those lucky enough to remember the mages words, wisely choose to run away into the open wilderness.

After overcoming this tribulation, the fame of the Ramen church resounded through all northern parts of the human continent, even reaching the ears of influential men in more southern parts.

With the church's rising fame, there came many who swore their faith and allegiance to the church. With some even having special talents.

After this ending the inevitable however still happened. The church having so many new members, had no choice but to grow its village sphere and influence in the north into something greater...

The next few years were of the church's expansion were filled with challenges at all corners.

First the battle for dominance in the northern hemisphere against lord Vasurgard. He being the only worthy enemy in the region that Fahjar and the church's higher levels acknowledged.

Yet at its end, in the deciding battle of Vasurgards future lordships seat; Fahjar proved himself to be the stronger one of the two. On the biting cold battlefield, at Vasurgsrds great gates—he swung his wand once again, beheading and claiming the past lords head.

With Vasurgards death, the north was the church's to take, with no more rivals strong enough to oppose. The town was expanded to the point of becoming a metropolis, while its name was changed to 'Lightsray'.

This was a turning point for the great and only.. Ramen church! A marking in history, that historians would still look back at in hundreds of years.

All of these happenings completely evaded Nei's senses.

After finishing the recruitment of Fahjar and checking that all divine kingdom mechanics were ready and working.

Nei had been playing around and improving on the game for a whole day already, he didn't notice at all that it was depp in the night in the real world—till the moment he was finally subsided by his exhausted body and mind, making him fall deep asleep, onto his magical laptop.

*ZZZZzzzzz*

Soundly sleeping he didn't know that his absence in the realm was being noticed by power hungry hyenas and ambitious men.

But even if he did know, he would probably not care to much.. he could always start a new session, couldn't he? What he would care for through, was the-in his mind resounding System voice!
