Chapter 3 Bully

Yu Yue was bullied by the boy next door when he was in the primary school.

That boy, who is several years older than him, snatched his pocket money and throwed away his schoolbag.

And there was a time, a little puppy Yu Yue brought home from the street was kicked to death by him.

Yu Yue cried all night.

It is broad daylight.

Yu is shivering in the car because of the pain and cold.

Ye Lin steps over briskly, and opens the door: "get off?"

Yu straightens his upper body, looking at Ye Lin vacantly, blinking his eyes.

Interesting. Ye Lin looks at his eyelashes, pointing a finger, brushing slightly on the fluff, again and again.

He smiles, and hooks Yu Yue's neck conveniently: "get off?"

Yu Yue completely follows him this time—he walks, Yu walks.

Then, Yu Yue is released in the living room, but he just remains to stay at the same place with folded arms, not going to anywhere.

Ye Lin gets into the bathroom for a while. And then, he pulls Yu inside.

"Take a shower." Said Ye Lin. But Yu Yue stands there without any reaction.

Ye Lin doesn't repeat, starts helping him to take off the clothes.

Yu doesn't resist. He stands there, turns his face to Ye Lin, continue to blink his innocent and blank eyes.

As Ye Lin takes off Yu Yue's clothes, he looks into his eyes and smiles unaccountably until stripping him off to naked. Ye presses on his shoulder, looks up and down with smile, then clasps him in arms and kisses his eyelashes.

Ye takes Yu to the bathtub and let him sit down. The warm water inside there is in an appropriate temperature.

Ye Lin also sits down on the edge of the tub. He wets Yu's hair by the shower head and foams the shampoo by rubbing.

"Yu Yue, go to get a new haircut later. Your hairstyle is too stupid. The good boy should keep a low profile. Such stupid style is not cool at all, it only makes you conspicuous." Ye says calmly while his hands keep rubbing Yu's hair slowly, "Also, don't wear your tracksuits anymore, too ugly. I have some clothes in small size for you."

It is so quiet in the bathroom, only Ye Lin's voice.

But Yu Yue doesn't respond no matter what Ye said. He even doesn't care to show his naked body in front of Ye. Is anything else worth to care?

Despair is the greatest sorrow, Yu would rather to die than being like this, because in that way he could feel much better.

"I like you. We can get along with each other if you can be docile and obedient a little. I'll be nice to you. Besides, merry meet, merry part. Right now we're together because I like you, but we can go our separate ways if we get tire of it." Ye seems to be very accommodating.

Yu Yue turns to him, looking at his eyes in silence. After a while, he opens his mouth slowly, "Can I leave now?"

"I mean when I get bored with you." Says Ye.

Ye Lin help Yu Yue rinse out his hair. With head down although, Ye sounds careful and serious: "Ye Lin, Mr. Ye, I'm a student and I need to go back to school. I have my parents and I don't know how to face them if I said yes. My family and I are ordinary people, not same as you. So I don't know how to get along with you, not to mention being your...lover. I just want to be a normal college student, living an ordinary life. I can't afford your kindness. Hope you can understand me."

"Don't know how to get along with me?" Ye grins, "Just do what I ask you to do. You're supposed to be a smart boy, otherwise you can not get into T University, right? One minute ago you were pretending to be dead but now you can give a whole speech. You're clever enough to know how to get along with me."

"Mr. Ye…" Yu Yue's sincere begging was not accepted by Ye Lin. In despair, the tears blur his eyes once again.

"Why you always cry? I really don't understand." Ye Lin takes a towel to wipe his body, "I didn't beat or abuse you, so what are you crying for? I know that I went to bed with you, so what? There's nothing to cry. I'm not an irresponsible person. Although I can't marry you, I will be very nice to you—Like Cheng, he's all good now. What are you afraid of? Always cry and cry, I don't understand. Who are you gonna cry to? I'll give you a lesson if you cry again."

Yu Yue raises head, looking at him with eyes full of tears: "please let me go…I don't want to do such kind of thing, I can't stand…"

"Can not stand?" Ye grins, "I think you really enjoy it, see…" his hand slides all the way down to Yu's underbody, and his fingertips poke at the entrance of the back hole, "It's very tight. I'm satisfied."

Yu Yue's body is stiff, his face turns to miserable white, and his eyes stare at Ye Lin steadily.

Ye Lin laughs uninhibitedly: "and finally you tell the truth. All the other reasons are unimportant, the key is just because you're not gay, right? If I were a rich woman, not too old or too ugly, would you say no like this? Maybe you'd love to marry with me then. You don't mind to be a toy boy, do you?"

"Mr. Ye…" Yu shakes his head, "no matter rich or poor, man or women, I won't do this for any benefit."

"Oh well," Ye nods solemnly, "What do you call it? Self-respect? Good boy. I'll get more pleasure in bed because of your self-respect."

"Ye!" Yu finally can not stand such indecent attitude. He stares at Ye with hate, but lower the head hopelessly soon, "Why me…"

"Why you…" Ye smiles, "since you are pure and simple. The white paper is so unblemished that attracts people to draw on it. I just want to have a try, see what color I can dye you."

Yu Yue doesn't reply. What's the point of listening to a sick lunatic?

"Well, let me teach you something." Ye Lin taps him twice on the shoulder, "whether it's persuasion or negotiation, at least, put yourself on the same level as your rivals. If you're naked, don't attempt to argue with someone well-dressed."

Yu Yue stands in front of the mirror and looks at himself. He's dressed in the clothes Ye gave him,

His hair was trimmed as Ye instructed, and even his nails were re-polished. Ye Lin seems to recast him according to his own habit after the shower.

Yu Yue smells the faint perfume of the body wash on himself—lingeringly, like a stigma on his body, signifying he's been possessed.

It almost nauseate him to throw up.

Ye Lin looks at him at the side, seems to be satisfied. He nods: "come with me, lunch is ready."

It's been a rough morning, Yu Yue hasn't eat breakfast yet and it's time for lunch already.

There are two dished of home cooking on the table, plus the tomato and egg soup. Yu Yue holds the bowl, not starts eating in seconds.

Ye Lin takes some food into Yu's bowl: "Yu Yue, I cooked these myself today. If you showed any dislike, I promise I'll beat you up."

Yu Yue lifts eyes, seeing that Ye Lin is smiling banteringly.

Yu Yue considers for a long time, but doesn't figure any way out. He lowers his head and tries to stuff his mouth with food. Does he have to accept this? He's reluctant, but what could he do? He's only a college student from another city. Facing to the man with money and power who catching his weakness, there's no way to escape. He falls into his hand, with no room for negotiation.

Realizing the circumstance, Yu Yue begins to consider the possibility of getting along with Ye Lin. Of course Ye Lin is not a good man, but he's not like the killers or thieves. Yu Yue knows that he has to sacrifice to a certain extent but his life should not be in danger. As long as he's alive, there's always a time limit for Ye Lin to get bored with him. He's not a woman, so there's no future troubles for him. He can wipe this past out and start over in some other cities so long as he got it over. For four years as most, it's not intolerable as he thought at beginning.

Yu breathes deeply, his heart throbs with pain, which makes him nearly tore his teeth to shreds.

"Yu Yue," Ye Lin says with complete confidence, "Usually I'm very busy. But I'll ask my driver to pick you up. Don't go arounds on weekends and holidays. If I can't find you," he pauses to see Yu Yue's reaction, "I'll make you regret."

Yu Yue lowers his eyes, doesn't look at him.

"You must hate me so much that you may want to kill me," Ye says with a careless smile, "It's all right, I understand. But you're not able to hurt me, even only a hair. So I forgive you. Just curse me in your heart, I would pretend to know nothing if you don't say it out."

"Bastard." Yu Yue scolds without raising his head.

"Wow," Ye Lin chuckles, he grabs Yu Yue's ear, "So bold—say sorry now."

"Go away." Yu Yue ignores his asking and tries to slap off his hand.

However, Ye Lin looses his hand for a while and then tightly tugs Yu's ear again, "say sorry and I'll let you off."

Yu Yue keeps in silence and tries to get free from that hand. But Ye Lin doesn't let him go, and even increases the strength. He drags Yu over to him: "Still hanging in? Come here, come to me."

Yu Yue feels painful in his ear so he has to follow Ye's tugging, moving to his front with waist stooped.

"Does it hurt?"

Yu Yue shows his sullenness by saying nothing.

"Are you wrong? I'll let you go if you say yes."

"Let me go!" Yu Yue begins to struggle again.

Ye Lin simply hooks Yu's waist, drags him in arms and let him sit down. Then he quickly ties Yu's hands on the back, squeezes them with one hand, and pinches Yu's chin with another: "Do you admit your mistake? Hmm?"

The warm breath spurts on Yu Yue's neck, makes him trembled. A terrific premonition shows up in his mind suddenly. He becomes nervous: "what…what do you want…"

"I just want you to admit that you were wrong." The voice is still clingy in his ear.

Although Yu Yue has accepted the reality just now, he finds out that the real feelings are totally different with the psychological acceptance. Only by such a simple move, he already feels panic from the deep heart. Yu Yue swallows, trying to be calm: "I'm sorry for my mistake. Let me go now."

"Good."

"I was wrong."

Yu Yue admits it without blushing.

But Ye Lin doesn't move.

Instantly, Yu Yue has a feeling of rushing down from the top of the roller coaster. His body is still in 2 seconds, and his heart is almost in his mouth.

Finally, Ye Lin releases him.

Yu Yue jumps to a safety distance immediately, looking at Ye Lin warily.

Ye Lin nods: "OK, this trick works, I'll remember that." He picks up the chopsticks again, "let's finish our lunch."

Yu Yue hesitates for three seconds and finally returns to his seat.

Ye Lin continues to say: "As for your phone number, I won't ask you anymore. Change it if you want. I can check it out anytime. Remember, on weekends and holidays, stay at school and don't go anywhere else. I have something to do this afternoon, won't be with you. I'll ask the driver to send you back after lunch."

Yu Yue feels that this is the first human saying from Ye Lin's mouth.

The news that he can leave soon rebuilds his hope. He finishes his lunch in a slightly relaxing mood, even feels the food taste not bad.

And yet, Ye Lin hands an envelope to him before leaving. He stands on the side of the car: "I said I wouldn't mistreat you."

The weight on Yu Yue's hand is like a huge stone, pressing against his chest.

"Mr. Ye." Yu Yue feels fretful, "I can try to accept your kindness, try to fall in love with you, and try to be your lover. But I can't take this money."

"Ha," Ye Lin laughs out unreservedly, "What kind of relationship do you think it is? Love?—I really like your naivety. Listen, just take whatever I give you. You are not qualified to bargain."

Yu Yue seizes the envelope firmly in his hands, almost squeezing the blood out.

He pulls the door open and gets into the car without looking back.

As soon as the car speeds away, the back window opens and a hand reaches out, spilling a fistful of pink paper fragments.

Ye Lin sees this clearly. A smile rests on his lips.

He's picked a good boy this time.
