Unfortunate Coincidence

On this cloudy morning, Rhea was huddled in front of her shrine. She was yet again engaging in some bible verses, doing her best to purge all thoughts of the twins, their hotdogs, and that goddamn embarrassing night. Oh god how embarrassing that night was. Even though it was so embarrassing, she had no choice to have it replay in her head like a broken record.

Rhea held the doll that resembled herself and placed it on a makeshift bed next to the shrine.

She acted as the similar doll of herself, out the horrors of that night because it kept playing inside her head, "Julian you tricked me!"

Rhea even had gone far as to knit an evil looking doll of Julian, as it pounced on doll Rhea.

"Hahaha! Drink this!"

"Noooo!"

She tossed Julian aside and then in came the twin dolls which carried doll Rhea onto the bed. Her imagination went wild to the events that unfolded, as she blushed.

"Do you trust us?" Rhea mimicked Aziel's voice and moved the doll's head.

"Come for us Rhea," she even mimicked Zeven's voice.

Both Rhea and her doll like self screamed. She threw the dolls at the wall and began to wrap herself in the blankets once again like the monster she was. It was so safe and quiet inside these blankets and her bedroom that she didn't want to move an inch. But the air was getting so stuffy that she needed to let in some air.

It had been two weeks since she last spoken to the twins. They hadn't tried to associate with her either which was absolutely fine by her. After that whole intimate near initiation to becoming their real sex slave, she wanted nothing to do with them.

NOTHING.

And at last after two weeks as she was regaining her sanity, Rhea slumped out to the living room and positioned herself in front of the sliding doors. She slowly but surely opened it so she could step out onto the balcony. What did she expect? Rhea immediately wilted from the sun and the fresh air did more damage than it did to heal.

As she stepped to the side, a loud crash in front of her rocked her whole body as she fell backwards. A potted plant fell and nearly missed her head! She took a few deep breaths before regaining her composure and peering up at the condo above to see what the ruckus was about but no one was there.

Strange, but not unusual.

For the past few weeks after attending the dark dungeon ceremony and receiving that strange letter, Rhea had been experiencing near death and strange coincidences. The other times were rotten flowers or strange insects delivered to her doorstep but today was the first time that she almost gotten harmed.

The letter in question spooked Rhea but she was sure it was just some stupid kid playing a prank. When she awoke from fainting inside her condo, her doorbell rang. And outside wasn't a person but a letter on a ground.

The letter read something like, "I know your secret. If you don't stop sticking close with the twins then I will expose you."

Rhea was spooked at first but she reminded herself if she stayed in and avoided the twins then perhaps the mysterious enemy would stop bothering her. In fact, that was what she intended to do because how could Rhea face them after nearly submitting to become their wretched sex slave.

She sighed and brought out a dust pan and broom to clean the broken pot. It would be alright. As long as she strayed far away from the twins, then---

A knock on the door prompted Rhea to all but crash onto the ground. Was it the twins? Another sick package from her mysterious enemy? She slowly walked over to the door and peered out into the peephole. There were no twins, thank god but to her surprise, there was also nothing threatening outside.

Rhea slowly creaked the door open and screamed as if she saw a ghost. Damien's tiger mask came into view as he jumped her with a hug and she all but fainted with relief. That's right, how could she forget? Her sister did call her and announce she was flying to Europe for the weekend with yet again a new boyfriend. She had asked Rhea to take care of him again.

"Gotcha, I've missed you Rhea!...Hey, why are you so scared? I'm sorry Rhea!"

"...Please don't do that again," Rhea said while withering away onto the ground.

With his tiny frame, he helped urge her onto the couch. He looked around the area in horror. Rhea was pretty sure the state of her condo appeared worst than last time. Damien was nice enough to not comment on the state of her condo. Without a word, he pushed her to the bathroom and threw a towel on her head.

Perhaps, this was his way of telling Rhea she literally reeked. To be honest, she wasn't sure when was the last time she showered either. When she finished showering and stepped outside, Rhea found the little tiger sweeping the dust and trash into the bin and tidying up the mess in the kitchen.

And again, she felt bad. It was like her sister E'laine was sending an angel to take care of her rather than Rhea take care of Damien.

"...Hey Rhea, why do you have broken pot outside...Did you garden before, I don't remember you being into gardening."

"Ah, that. It fell from above."

Damien's face contorted to anger and he went out to look at the condo above. "...Above! The nerve of these people...Rhea, you should complain because what if you got hurt?"

Actually, she was sure it was the mysterious enemy but she didn't want to alert Damien about it. Rhea was sure she could handle it all on her own...For a moment, the world stopped. Her heart beat furiously because she saw it coming so fast, that her reaction time didn't make up for it.

Rhea began to run toward Damien and scream out his name, "...Damien! Look out!"

But it was too late. All he did was look toward Rhea, his features so innocent and clueless.

Another potted plant fell from above and crashed against Damien's head.
