Suddenly Raining

Shen Huo circulated his spirit power into his legs, strengthening his legs muscle tissue and muscle fibre. His running speed is more than double an average adult male human.

The body of a spirit master is completely different to an average everyday ordinary human.

This is because of the amount of spirit power residing in one's own body. The higher the user's spirit power count, the more their cells remains youthful and rejuvenated, keeping the user's body in top condition.

With a huge increased in his overall speed, Shen Huo manages to escaped the grasped of the enraged stall clerk.

Shen Huo then runs all the way through the busy streets of tge shopping district, until he safely arrives at the empty alley way in the south residential district.

The south residential district is devided into four uneven sections. Three for the residential areas of the working class family, whilst the last one remains completely abandoned.

It has now become a place where the dirt poor homeless people and beggars would likely congregate.

And Shen Huo likely falls under the latter of the category, since he is not exactly homeless, but his situation isn't exactly any better than a homeless person.

He entered the empty alley way by himself, whilst carrying the bamboo basket filled with steamed buns, within his arms.

'Thank god. I finally lost him.' Shen Huo thought to himself, as he felt relieved having temporary solved his starvation.

As he thought about that, it suddenly began to rain, uneventfully. His tattered clothes is starting to become drenched in water, soaking into his skin.

'I need to hurry and find a safe place to shelter from the rain.' Shen Huo thought himself, as he hurriedly looks for a shelter from the rain.

. . .

Putcha! Putcha!

The sound of Shen Huo running in the rain. His foot splashing in puddles of water.

As thousands of rain droplets then rained down upon him. The constant barrage of rain bullets hitting his skin. His skin absorbed the water and became extremely moist.

Shen Huo's clothes are soaking wet, saturated from top to bottom, as his body heat quickly dissipates through the rain.

'I need to hurry and find shelter from the rain, or else I will catch a cold.' Shen Huo thought to himself, as then he runs into a nearby runned down house.

The moment that he step foot into the dilapidated old house. He could hear the sounds of whimpering in the corners of the room.

Through the corners of his eye, he could make out two small figures in the dark.

It was the figure of two children, huddling together in the dark corners of room. They were trying their best to conserve their body heat to warm each other up.

The two were quite small and fragile, pretty skinny bone like a skeleton as well.

They look like they barely have any meat on their bones, most likely haven't ever had a full filling meals for weeks.

The little girl shown a frightful look at Shen Huo, almost like a frightened kitten. "Please don't hurt us." She cried, as her small child eyes became a bit teary.

The older boy beside her, with his body in the front. He immediately raised his right hand upwards, holding a small bamboo brush in his hand. He pointed the ink brush aso a weapon towards Sheng Huo's direction.

The boy shouted out, "Stay back, you... I've got a weapon in my hand, and I'm not afraid to use it." He was on guard because of Shen Huo's presence.

It took Shen Huo a couple of seconds to process things, as he then stares at the boy pointing an ink brush in his direction.

'Is that an ink brush. You're intending to fucking fight with me, with an useless ink brush.' Shen Huo thought to himself, as he laughs at the stupidity over it all.

"Hahaha..." Shen Huo laughed hysterically at it all, which seems to further frightened the two.

"Don't worry, I won't hurt the both of you's. I only came here to take shelter from the rain." Shen Huo reassures the two that he won't harm them, he gave them his word.

"You hurt us?" The boy strangely enough wasn't quite convinced, as he remotely questions Shen Huo's words.

Since Shen Huo is a total stranger towards the both of them. How could they put any trust within his words. How would they know if he won't go back on his words and attack them, whilst their guards were down.

Shen Huo sinply sighs at the two uncooperative individuals, still showing signs of distrust towards me.

'It's best to leave the two of them alone. I don't want to get into a further quarrel with the two. It will only become more of an annoying matter.' Shen Huo thought.

He decided to leave the two alone, as he then head towards the opposite side of the room.

'Damn it! It's quite cold, and my clothes are wet! I might catch a cold at this rate...' Shen Huo anxiously thought to himself, as he suddenly came up with an ideal. "Wait a minute, isn't my spirit essence literally just elemental fire. Couldn't I just use it to myself up."

Shen Huo then summons his spirit essence, the elemental fire spirit essence.

A red ring spirit mark then appears on the center of his forehead, as a warmth mental feeling then unravels from the inside Shen Huo's small spiritual sea.

A small smoldering red resplendent flame then appears at the center of the small spiritual lake. It glowed resplendently bright in the dark, without much opposition, almost like it has no opponent.

If left alone, the smouldering red flame will eventually grow strongee by itself. It is surrounded by an endless body of still water, which would gradually expands with the progression of Shen Huo's cultivation base.

With a single word or command phase spoke withinside Shen Huo's mind.

'Materialise'.

A smouldering flicker of red flame then appears in between Shen Huo's hand, as he successfully summons his elemental fire spirit essence outside of his body.
