Unknown

An hour after Aleria and Barktus little game of cat and mouse, the orcs assault still doesn't show any sign of stopping.

Although hundreds of thousands had already died on both sides, their number still counted on millions.

There is no telling how long this war is going to last.

Within the sea of orcs, a particular corpse impaled with arrows starts moving.

Due to the chaotic nature of the battlefield, no one notices this small anomaly.

The orc is definitely dead but there is something beneath it that is making it move.

Not long after, a woman's head can be seen popping out.

It was Aleria.

Aleria groaned in pain as she wiggled herself free, her shoulder was injured, impaled by one of the orc archer's arrows.

Breathing heavily, she cut the arrow in half to not let it impede her movement.

She didn't choose to remove it as she knows that she will quickly die of blood loss if she does.

Injured and bloodied she resumed her quest.

Unknown how long she had before the orc archer spotted her, she moves fast yet also subtle to not get unwanted attention as her injury is dire and cannot afford to have another fight.

With her current condition, reaching the archer tower is already a long shot but she knows she has to do it.

She knows she has to end it today or it would already be too late.

She has to kill the orc archer no matter what.

But as she slowly makes her way through, she encounters something unlucky.

A couple of feet away from where she was standing, something fell from the sky, brought down by a cannot fire.

From her distance she can clearly see what it is.

It was a Gobakji.

Although it was heavily injured with half of its body burned off and its armor all melted. She can clearly feel that it was still a lot stronger than her.

One wrong move from her and it would be all over but even though she knows that, she can't turn back or move around it.

Every second passed she is losing blood, there is no telling how long she can last.

Seeing no other way, Aleria has decided to risk it.

Before the Gobakji can find its bearing, she slowly sneaks up to it and slashes its throat.

Feeling her knife cut through without difficulty, Aleria smiled.

But to her surprise the Gobakji started moving.

Even with its throat half open, it still shows enough strength to overpower her.

With its half dead body, it threw a punch at her direction.

Startled that it wasn't dead yet, Aleria desperately tried to move her body to dodge. Although she was successful, the shockwave created by the punch was enough to blow her away.

"Cough!Cough!" Aleria coughs a mouthful of blood, three of her ribs are broken.

She looked at the Gobakji, it didn't stay to treat it's injury but instead it dashed toward her, wanting to blow her face off with a punch.

Seeing the furious Gobakji, Aleria immediately knows that there is no way she will win in a direct confrontation and is prompted to run away.

After exchanging another four smoke grenades and tossing it to the ground, she vanishes into the sea of orcs.

"Roarrrr"

The Gobakji roared in anger and started massacring the orc around it, hoping to flash Aleria out.

With its single punch it blows an orc into a pile of blood.

It's not long after that a river forms underneath its feet.

Seeing all this, Aleria didn't do anything, she just watches as the Gobakji goes insane, waiting for it to die of blood loss.

After killing over a hundred orcs the Gobakji fell from its knees with its hand holding its throat.

As things finally settle down, Aleria once again sneaks behind it and lunges her knife to its skull.

After killing the Gobakji, Aleria started running, she doesn't want to stay in this sh*t show any longer.

If another Gobakji decided to show up, she would not be able to do anything and a commotion of such size would surely attract unwanted attention..

But to Aleria surprise everything proceeds like nothing happens.

The orc archer also seems to ignore her existence.

She hesitated for a moment, wondering if she should continue.

But after thinking for a minute she ultimately decided to just see what happens.

After that unlucky encounter with the Gobakji everything proceeded smoothly.

Aleria can now clearly see the orc archer's tower.

Moving past another group of orc, everything around her suddenly became devoid of life.

She suddenly felt strange, her heart started beating faster and her whole body started sweating.

She doesn't know when but she finds herself shaking.

One hundred feet around the archer tower there is no creature to be found.

Except one.

A creature with one arm. It was so big that it dwarfs an orc in comparison, even the Gobakji is nothing but a kid compared to it. Aleria wasn't sure if she could categorize it as an orc.

Just by looking at it she can feel death grabbing her throat.

The creature is just sitting there with its eyes close. It didn't wear any armor and didn't have any weapon. Except for tribal clothes that cover half of its body, It doesn't have anything on it, but even though the creature looked like it was sleeping. Aleria can shake the feeling that if she takes another step, she would die without knowing how it happened.

Shaken by this creature, Aleria didn't hesitate, there is no doubt in her mind, she has to leave this place.

...

"Is that the woman you're talking about, Barktus?" The one arm creature said

Not long after, a figure can be seen walking down the tower with a cigar in his mouth.

It was Barktus.

Barktus reaches out his hand and hands a cigar to the one arm creature.

"Yes master" He said.

"Quite a looker isn't she?" The one arm creature said puting the cigar in his mouth.

"You know I don't care about that master. I just decided to let her live, that's all" Barktus said meekly as he lit the cigar in his master's mouth.

"Hahaha, you know it doesn't hurt to enjoy youth once in a while. Is your human side making you impoten?t"

As he hear his master word, Bartus' expressions became dark.

Seeing this the one arm creature continue laughing "Hahahaha"

It is rare for him to see his apprentice taking interest with someone.
