By the time the metal walls shattered under their relentless assaults, Zero and Akila's hands were covered in blood, fingers were broken, deep gash marks visible and both hands badly beaten. No one could tell if this was as a result of the powerful metal walls or because they pushed their reinforcements abilities to the limit and even beyond the stage their bodies could handle.

Two things shocked them the most….

1) The sheer hatred for the unknown assailant who dealt serious damage on Kira, this showed how far they were willing to go just to avenge a member of their little cult.

2) When did Zero become this strong? Zero has always been the weakest in the group in terms of physical condition. Seeing him utilizing the same ability as Akila, thrilled, and terrified everyone. Replicating the reinforcement ability in other superhumans has been one of the major programs the liberation union has engaged in. seeing someone as young as Zero succeed where they failed is extremely terrifying.

The scene which welcomed them after they knocked down the metal walls would have made any normal person but that wasn't the case for these two, instead they were enraged by this.

"Tell me this is a joke!" Zero's eyes let out a purple flash and visible purple light circulated around his body, making his lean muscles bulge repeatedly.

This left the guardians and Miss Lane surrounding the black-haired youth stunned once again. Right before their eyes, Zero was utilizing the reinforcement ability to strengthen his already weakened body. Not only did this clear their doubts about him being able to utilize the superpower, but it also meant a student from the elite class is actually willing to fight his homeroom teacher and other guardians! This is the first time such has happened in the history of the Liberation union,

"I suggest you explain… And fast!" Akila's voice was not that of youth talking to an elder or a teacher. It was more like a man asking his foe to say his last words before execution.

While he spoke, yellow energy ran through his body, strengthening his already buffed up body. His eyes released a yellow light as his skin got darker. For the first time since the awakening process, Akila successfully applied the reinforcement ability all through his body and not just a limb.

"Are you threatening guardians? Don't you think you are overestimating your abilities" A bald man with a thick black mustache took a step forward. He had a muscular build and even though he was dressed in a tuxedo like every other guardian present, his powerful build was still very visible.

With each step, he took the hearts of the students watching trembled but to everyone's greatest surprise, Zero and Akila didn't retreat or even look back, instead they only shot the man a hateful glance, before returning their attention to the injured youth who they were protecting. From the way they looked at the man briefly and then ignored him, it seemed as if they didn't even consider him their opponent.

"Impudent brats!!"

Enraged the man furiously walked towards them with clenched fists and veins visible on his kneck. But just when he was a few steps away from Akila and Zero he froze for a while, before taking a few steps back.

"You heard my young master's request… I suggest you give him the answer he desires!" Alfred's cold voice echoed repeatedly as he walked into the arena with the security team following him tightly from behind. His arrival quickly made the calm guardians anxious and even Miss Lane an A rated guardian felt uncomfortable.

No matter how enraged Zero, Akila, and Dan were, they didn't miss this and began wondering how a mere three-star rated bodyguard with green belt martial arts qualification scare top rating guardians of the nation. They gazed at the dead serious bodyguard of theirs as he approached the guardians fearlessly with both hands shoved deep in his pockets.

Even then none dared make a move against him!

��I… I mean we, are only protecting a fellow student and the nation and the institution's assets… we meant no harm…" Miss Lane stepped up and explained after hesitating for a while.

Upon hearing this, Alfred's face changed from anger to pure surprise. He gazed at the black-haired youth in a complete black martial arts gear and then shifted his gaze to the injured Kira and nodded in approval. He finally understood why an unknown person put someone as skilled as Kira in such a condition. Even the four prodigies of the Oscuro group do not possess enough talent to be called the asset of a nation. He didn't know what made this kid merit such a title, but he couldn't tell one thing for sure. An attack on someone this important is practically an attack on the nation as a whole.

"Many must not know me but you high ranking heroes do… I'm gonna say this only once… Should any harm befall these young masters I swore to protect with my life, I will kill you… all of you!" Alfred's deep green eyes let out a faint flash that stunned Zero and the others.

What even stunned them more was the fact that the guardians obediently nodded in response and backed away immediately. According to the little they knew about Alfred, he only possessed the skill of a green belt martial ats practitioner, making him a three-star bodyguard according to the generally approved ranking method.

"We really need to pay more attention to others" Zero let out a bitter smile, still unable to fully comprehend all that happened.
