Chapter 52: Enemy of humanity (2)

Although Miss Lane lacked battle capabilities which made people greatly doubt her ratings as an A-rated guardian, she did possess a power coveted by everyone around her. Her special ability is called foresight, which allowed her to have a sneak peek into the future. There was no definite knowledge of how far she could see but one thing was sure was that she could only see things that will affect her in one way or another. It may not give her the ability to battle against magic beasts and other humans with special abilities but with this ability, she has managed to escape countless life-threatening situations.

The fact she could boldly predict the battle between the Oscuro groups heirs and Shi Jia meant that this battle will affect her in some way. The thought of two potential disaster realm master battling each other to the death sent shivers down the spine. Even though those two are yet to achieve this level, they were pretty sure when the time came and the battle between both sides commence, it will be a battle that will be written in the books of history.

"Its not mere predictions or deductions… You are right, I am using my ability Foresight… Even then, I still fail to understand how such a battle concerns me… How will it affect my life?" Miss Lane was lost in her thoughts while she spoke.

She couldn't understand why she received a vision like this and the only logical explanation is that the heirs of the Oscuro group held a grudge against her for stopping them earlier and they will most likely come for her when they are done with Shi Jia or before! Either way, the vision was too messy and blurry for her to make sense of all that happened. All she was sure of was that the fight between Zero and Shi Jia will result in the death of the most talented member of the Oscuro group, Zero. But Shi Jia will not leave unscathed either! Zero would deal a fatal blow which will drastically reduce his combat ability, giving the other three members of the Oscuro group the chance to battle Shi Jia on equal footing, but in the end, Akila, Kira, and Dan will lose their lives as well, not before dragging Shi Jia down the stairs of hell with them.

"To think the countries hope and pride will die in such a bitter battle…" Miss Lane muttered absent-mindedly while staring at Shi Jia who was currently consuming the contents of the fifth tank, not caring about those watching him.

Upon receiving so many notifications, coupled with the bell rings popping up in his head Shi Jia's eyelids slowly yanked open and a vicious grin appeared on his face. His eyes lacked pupils, giving out a silver light as he gently removed the gas mask before pushing the gas mask aside.

"In my past life… I endured hell, just like the true owner of this body… But fate has granted me another chance… Never again shall I be looked down upon… With this system, I shall become the absolute being no one can stand against! The four heirs of the Oscuro group will be crushed by my newfound power" He thought.

Even though Shi Jia failed to utter a single word, the crazed look on his face spoke volumes, coupled with his maniacal laughter which made even Miss Lane take a step back. In his previous life where humans had no special ability, Shi Jia lived a life filled with tragedy and ultimately died an unfortunate and painful death. Back then he lacked the power to fight against the forces he considered the greatest threat of all, man! But now things are different, reincarnated into this body, coupled with a system which has assured him of reaching the pinnacle of power which this world has to offer, Shi Jia has decided to accomplish all he couldn't in his previous life.
