Chapter 60: You are just too loud!

Shi Jia walked up to the defeated Zero with mixed emotions written all over his facial expression. He may have been distracted while using the aura materialization back there but he was sure he saw Zero gaze at his aura form. Zero even reacted to it by punching down at the aura palm heading his way.

"But that should be impossible… Is this part of his ability?" Shi Jia muttered to himself.

He had defeated martial arts masters at his level because of this advantage. He could also see people's aura, that way he is able to gauge a person's strength accurately. Seeing the aura materialization meant he could counter it, that also means the same for Zero as well. The fact that Zero could see his aura form meant that he would be able to counter it in the future and at this very moment, this technique is his trump card.

"I can't let him live… Amongst the four heirs of the Oscuro group, he and Dan are the most dangerous… I have to get rid of them or they may get in my way in the future!" Shi Jia whispered before raising his hand.

His fists were clenched and even though people could not see any spirit energy and it looked like a normal punch, those with decent sensory skills could clearly feel the terrifying aura twirling around his fist. This took their mind back to the moment he swept Zero off his fist and punched forward with his aura, leaving his fist imprint on the wall which was meters away. No one had to tell them what Shi Jia was planning. He was going to inflict serious internal injuries if this blow hit and Zero may even die from the hit.

"Stand up damn it!" Dan roared at Zero who has been lying on the ground face down, with blood flowing down his head. At this moment, he started entertaining the thought that Zero may actually die here and for the first time in his life he began regretting not bringing guards along. If he brought Alfred along and he ended up stepping in, the four of them won't have to take the fall.

"Damn it! Where are those damned staff and guards!" Dan was on the verge of losing his mind.

Zero and Shi Jia have been going at it for a while and their fight had attracted quite a lot of attention. There was no way the academies security and teachers could have missed this.

Then why haven't they stepped in?

At this moment, images of what happened to Kira the previous day flooded his mind. He finally remembered what Zero said about favoritism and the fact that they were no longer the countries number one upcoming guardians. Dan was sure they were observing this battle and so far, Zero may have done well but he hasn't been outstanding. According to the information that had received, Shi Jia had gone through an awakening. But even now he has not revealed his special ability till now.

"If Zero is not strong enough to make him use his special ability, then he's not worth their time! they will use him to appease Shi Jia! BASTARDS!" Dan growled.

"I'm not even allowed to die in peace… You are just too loud, Dan"

Zero's voice shocked everyone but Shi Jia was even more shocked. Just at the moment when he was about to strike Zero, his aura exploded and expanded violently. As if that wasn't enough, a new aura emerged and blended in with Zero's aura. Even now he spoke, his voice was hoarse and it sounded like two voices overlapping each other! There were two people speaking at this moment.

"What the hell are you!" Shi Jia roared as he punched forward but a powerful outburst of Zero's violent spirit energy was enough to send the youth flying meters away.

He could tell that Zero wasn't the only one in there, there were two of them. What he didn't know was it was the dusk demons aura he was sensing. Since it decided to cooperate with Zero and took the back passenger seat in his mind, the two had almost become one.

Right before everyone's eyes, Zero was shrouded in his purple aura and his body was slowly lifted off the ground. The purple aura glowed around his left hand and leg and bone-cracking sounds could be heard. His eyes were completely black with a purple light glowing within the darkness. His wounds stopped bleeding and he slowly rose high into the air while gazing down at Shi Jia.

"Don't tell me you thought it was over? I was only having a little nap…. Zero has been a lot of things in the past but Zero has never been weak… Shi Jia… I will definitely kill you here and now!" Zero chuckled lightly while he spoke.
