For the next period, Vali has blacksmith. And as it is the first class for blacksmith, the teacher taught them all about the theory for how to forge a better product.

And as Vali had practised himself with the more prominent blacksmiths and due to his level 4 blacksmith skill, all of this theory is already known to him.

Not only that, everyone in the class, as they have passed the entrance exam for the blacksmith class, all of this information is also known by them.

As such, everyone including Vali is a bit bored as the teacher had taught them the very basics of blacksmithing.

Even though the teacher saw that the students are getting bored with the class, he still continued teaching the class.

And when the class is about to be over, the teacher told the students in the class that they will have a practical class in the afternoon.

Hearing this, most of the students fell out of their boredom. They are going to learn forging and smithing while doing it practically.

But for Vali, this kind of thing like following the correct method of smithing is not something he wanted to do right now. This is because, if Vali followed the traditional method and try to produce something instead of just blowing through the smithing process even if he will produce a much lower quality product, his skill level will experience more increase.

So, for Vali who wanted to get his blacksmith skill to an extremely high level, this practical class is not that exciting for him. Although he felt it to better than just sitting through another theory only class. If he could do it, he wanted to follow his own method.

And for the sword fighting class, since Hela also took that class, Vali waited for Hela and then they both went to a huge gym like building for their class.

Although the teacher taught them practically, since most Asgardians, even though they are considered to be gods by humans due to their severe strength and people that could easily perform magical skills, but, since none of them possesses the sword skills similar to Vali's, they are all taught only on how to properly wield the sword.

And to summarise it up, as it is all slashing, hacking, rushing, blocking and correcting their stances when wielding a sword, Vali did not gain much from it. Though some of the skills are a bit refined, as Asgardians respect strength more than anything, it could still be considered brutish in some aspects.

And since the students are not even low-rank warriors, even if some of them possess a strength similar to the weaker bunch of low-rank warriors, Vali could not benefit much from sparring with them. In fact, it could be said that Vali gains almost absolutely nothing.

But since he had to go to the Academy as a compulsory requirement for him to go out of this realm or participate in the war, he had no choice.

And as this cycle had repeated itself for over a month, Vali could not take it anymore.

Even after one month, his skills that are about to be level up still had not levelled up. Instead, it felt to him that they are either stagnant or increasing at a snail's pace.

And especially his power level, he saw an increase of only 2 points. This is extremely frustrating to Vali. He felt like he is going to explode due to extreme frustration.

As such, he felt the need to do something. So, he steeled himself and go to the principal room to make a request.

Although he could send his father to make this request on his behalf, he did not want to be a person that depends on the capabilities of others the rest of his life. And if he wants to take control of his fate, he knows that he had to be stronger, stronger than anything in all of creation. He should be able to become a being that will have to go above creation.

So, with that in mind, he approaches the principal room. As he stood in front of the door, after exhaling a huge breath of air, he knocked on the door and said, " May I come in Principal Kvasir?"

" Come in. " Kvasir said as soon as he heard the knock along with the request.

" Oh, Vali, what brings you to my room? " said Kvasir as soon as he saw it was Vali that wanted to meet him.

" I have a request to make Principal Kvasir. And I hope you can listen to it." replied Vali.

" Okay, tell me what you want? " said Kvasir as he crosses his fingers and leans back a bit in his chair. He wondered and is intrigued as to what could this genius son of Odin will ask.

" Okay... Em.. Principal Kvasir, can I be excused from all of my classes for the remaining time till I can apply for my graduation? " Vali told Kvasir.

Hearing this, Kvasir jumped up a bit from his chair and now put his hands on his desk. And begin to take this a bit more seriously. Then he said, " Did I hear you right? Did you say you want to be excused from all of your remaining classes till you graduate? " Kvasir talked slower towards the end so as to emphasize what he said. His demeanor begins to completely change.

" Yes, sir. " immediately replied Vali. Then he continued, " I have nothing to gain from the classes."

Bang!

Kvasir slammed down on the desk, a few tiny cracks formed on the desk around the place Kvasir hit, " So, just because you think you are raised by Odin and learned more information and knowledge compared to the other students, you think you do not need the teachings of my Academy? " Furiously said Kvasir.

Seeing the behavior of Kvasir, Vali instinctively and subconsciously activated a bit of his sword aura with his Haoshoku Haki and he stood his ground unfazed. Even though Vali's power level is miles away from Kvasir, the aura exuding from him is not much less than Kvasir's. This is only due to his special skill set.

As Kvasir saw Vali was completely composed even when he is in front of someone that is stronger than him. Kvasir felt contented in his heart. He knew that Vali's knowledge as he had shown from the entrance exam has already reached the requirement for low-rank warriors. He had acted like he is furious to know whether Vali would be a coward or a warrior that could benefit Asgard. If it was the former, no matter how much he is a genius, he would be hopeless. But from this, Kvasir saw that Vali is not a coward.

Then Kvasir, as he lay back again on his chair, said to Vali, " What do you propose? "

" I want to practise and do everything all on my own. And I want to access the library of different classes like the magic classes library which I do not previously have permission to access." said Vali

" Hmmm... " Kvasir pondered for a while, then he said, " Prove it to me that you truly did not require any more of the teachings from the teachers and has the capability to graduate. Then I will consider it. "

" Just that? I have to show that I possess the capability that I can graduate?" excitedly replied Vali.

" No, that's too easy. You will have to surpass yourself. You will have to outperform what you did in the entrance exam. But you will still have to spend the remaining time in the Academy." said Kvasir as he saw how excited Vali is.

Although he could break the rules just for Vali if he proves himself to be capable by letting him graduate, since he had broken the rules once already for Vali by reducing the time until one could apply for graduation and as Odin requested him to let both of his children go to the Academy for at least 5 years, he did not want Vali to graduate immediately.

Especially breaking the rules, Kvasir did not want to continuously break it as it could reduce the prestige of the Academy and could bring some unnecessary and annoying opinions. And even just letting Vali have complete access to all the libraries might be irksome enough to others already.

Hearing the requirements, Vali felt a bit relieved. Although he performed excellently in the entrance exam, he had not shown what he is fully capable of.

As over two months had passed since the entrance exam, with the enormous amount of practice Vali had done, just trying and giving the same effort as he did during the entrance exam will produce better results.

" If that's it. Well then, let's get started immediately." said Vali nonchalantly.
