Chapter 9 names for his pets, the second prince, heh new pet.

Mikhail felt bored, as like REALLY bored for quite some time, as his new units came out of the barracks that was shaped like one big head, the new initiates played around with their new abilities, as the brutes were doing something like a sumo match amongst themselves, while the new psychic soldiers were what caught his attention.

they looked no different from before as they walked over to his direction confidently letting him feel their psychic energy which was comparable to when he had first arrived, as Mikhail also noticed a strange tinge of kinship they felt towards him while the sense of reverence overshadowed all of their other emotions.

The Bunch of people that were trying to capture his tanks had a few troublesome members, however, that was nothing a few mind-controlled backstabbers can't handle~

He wanted to see his units in action but sadly that may give away his base's position thus he had to tread carefully with some devious tricks, as the local weak monsters were ignored by them so they were to the best choice to infiltrate their location and deliver some toxic problems~

as for the kobold engineer, it quickly went around the base to explore it while brainstorming ways on how to improve it!

a welcome change of things as long as the base becomes a force to be reckon with~

Mikhail also had another turret to be made to lessen the survival of any invaders.

with that said and done, Mikhail also gave the snake and the bat their new names, he wasn't very good a giving names so what he gave them were what immediately came to his mind, Skuld for the snake, Urd for the bat.

mostly due to him being lazy and didn't really want to spend too much time contemplating about it~

during this time the psychic soldiers took control of some poisonous monsters within their range then sent their new puppets to ruin the supplies of the large group that was trying to capture their comrades.

One thing that Mikhail applied no matter what was 'all is fair in war'.

a saying that he embraced upon himself as even the most powerful can fall into ruin from getting stabbed in the back!

While it was kind of sad that he couldn't control any of the people of this group that had taken his bait it was still possible to have them receive a 'lesson' that they'll never forget~

with less than a day till the slave miner will be complete even with the engineer's help but now he was more interested in what kind of tricks his psychic soldiers will employ~

--------

Within the forest was a large group of hunters numbering to 400 their ranks were ranging from 3rd tier to the highest being 6th tier who was acting as the subleader of this bunch of riffraff to guide the current leader towards the right direction as for who the person was it was a 15-year-old boy dressing up as a knight eager to make a name for himself to make his father proud.

As for who the boy was, he was the second prince of the united kingdom Uther, a 3rd tier aura user, so by using his amassed wealth through numerous businesses under his banner, Uther had hired the best the hunter guild had at the time, not to become the crowned prince but to be allowed as one of the generals of the united kingdoms.

As Uther enjoyed the battlefield rather than dealing with paperwork or making the heaviest decisions for the kingdom, this 'hobby' of his is known by his father thus the general of the 1st battalion was currently acting as his adjutant and adviser to inherit the man's mantle since he was about to reach the next tier.

The name of the general plated armor from head to toe was Clark 'the blood fist(a pun off of blood fest by his enemies)' Yulrik, his title already gives a pretty good hint of what happens to his enemies.

prince Uther also learned his ways, thus he was following the footsteps of his teacher both as a general and as a warrior, the trial he had to face now was how to lead these hunters into this battle, that was the contract they abided by upon agreeing to follow him.

Despite it being his first time leading people Uther was trembling from excitement, as it was his dream to lead an army against the enemies of the united kingdoms seeing the first step of his dream come to life brought a few tears to his eyes while giving a look of gratitude to Clark for helping him reach this point.

So now it was time to prove himself as a worthy leader!

Clark left a brief warning as he moved to the prince's side making a sign that he will not do anything else other than protect him.

"your enemies are approaching, tread with care down your path."

Uther nodded to Clark before shouting out his commands.

"Hunters close ranks! advance as one! this forest and those elephants will be mine! we have them cornered!"

Like machines, the hunters moved swiftly in a trained manner as they prepared for what's to come their target was some strange elephants covered in armor as the local monsters tried to avoid their group as much as possible.

The strange thing was though as of late many of the weaker monsters have been attacking their food from simple rats to annoying bugs thus to counter this situation Uther had to use a storage artifact to hide the food as they traveled while his actions unintentionally saved them from so much trouble it only delayed the inevitable as the artifact used a lot of aura per usage which quickly exhausted the transporters and lessened the guards that could watch over their rations and supplies.

But as they formed their ranks many of the hunters started shrieking in fear and in pain as when they looked down at their feet there were hundreds of ants climbing their bodies!

Earlier Mikhail, as he was scanning the area with his mind stumbled upon a few interesting creatures, one of which quickly became one of his favorites as its hive was filled to the brim by insects called 'Phantom Ants' one that had a young usable queen whom he was capable of controlling, these ants had the ability to travel like ghosts, each one was the size of an adult's pinky and their number's easily surpassed 100,000 thanks to how large their hive was, each with poisonous bites that can immobilize those of the 1st tier, with stackable effects that made even people higher than 4th tier fear these insects.

So with his sadistic mind, now armed with this menace he wanted to see how many bites can they handle before each of the hunters died~
