Grandma, I like you!

A few minutes of walking, they arrive at a restaurant called Old Lady's Chompers. Celine told Jason that the owner was a renowned chef in her days. The duo took the seats near the window and started to order. Celine immediately stated what she wanted while Jason was scratching his head wondering over what to order.

Some were foreign to Jason like the carbonara, the tempura, and the crab paste tenderloin steak. Jason chose the carbonara alongside a dessert known as ice cream. Celine was staring at Jason amusingly like watching a kid's first time in a restaurant. Celine ordered some kind of juice for both of them.

The food arrive 30 minutes later. Jason looked at Celine's food and it was a full set of meat along with varieties of sauces. Jason did expect Celine to be a heavy eater; this also made Jason think that all the meat went to her breast.

He then looks at his own food, some sort of long noodles with white sauce and green vegetable things were his plate. The food was glistening in Jason's eyes, at which he marveled at it. Jason took a bite and all the flavors overpassed his expectations. Jason then took a sip from the juice. It tasted refreshing.

"Celine, what is this juice you ordered?" Jason asked.

"It's called cucumber juice. This one's made of real cucumber you know." Celine said with a smug face.

"What's a cucumber? Is that some sort of mutated plant?" Jason follows up another question at which Celine looked at surprised.

"Uhmm. It's a kind of vegetable, I guess." Celine said, unsure of her answer.

Jason sighs, "Athena, what's a cucumber?" Athena appeared next to Jason. Luckily there were very few people in the restaurant and most of them were seated far from them.

"Hello Celine! Jason are you stupid! Please don't call me to appear randomly outside. As for your question I looked it up in this era's database, indeed it is a vegetable. One that originated in a place called India. It is quite healthy and has high water content around 95% which will be good for survival. Recommended for storage and propagation. Do you need anymore elaboration"

"Okay. That was quite the information. No, and thank you. By the way it was you who appears as you want. I never told you to appear though." Athena stared at Jason and disappeared.

Jason continues to eat when Celine suddenly asks where Jason if he knew why this place is called Old Lady's Chomper. Celine explained that the grandmother of the owner loved the food her son, the owner cooked for her. That's why the owner named the restaurant Old Lady's Chomper as a dedication to her grandmother. Jason liked the story.

"Hey do you want to meet the owner and the grandmother?" Celine asks.

"Why not?" Jason was also curious about this son-grandmother duo he heard in the story.

"Celine called for a waiter asked if the owner was around in which the waiter replied yes. Celine asked if they could meet the owner. "Tell them, the baby sparrow has returned again." Celine says.

A moment later a man in his 40s arrived pushing an old woman on a wheelchair. While Jason was drinking he spotted the old woman who smiled. She didn't have teeth. Celine and the man was greeting each other and Celine introduced the Jason to the man. The man's name was Edward and the old lady's name was Shane. Edward and Celine then proceeded to talk while Jason continued to eat.

Jason's mind was wandering while drinking when he noticed that the old lady was looking at him smiling. And the image of an old woman chomping over his food suddenly came. At which Jason choked to the drink.

Celine asked why he choked to the drink...

"Grandma Shane has a good smile. Grandma, I like you." Jason looked at a surprised old lady with an even more surprised audience.

"Oh my God Jason, I didn't expect you to shift that way!" Celine exclaims more amused that surprised. Everyone looked at Jason like he said something... different.
