First Ritual

These Rituals look so OP. If the rituals for only the first magical maturity are this potent then I can't wait for the rituals that I will get when I reach my next magical maturity. First, let's go through the info on what these physical rituals do.
"Vitality Ritual": Increases the immunity system of the wizard.
Cleanses the wizard's body of impurities.
Increases the quality of the wizard's blood and bone marrow.
Hmm, this ritual looks like something to make a wizard healthier. Ok, let's move on to the next ritual.
"Strength Ritual": Increases the strength of the wizard's bones.
Increases the strength of the wizard's muscles and tendons.
Looks like a ritual which allows me to step into the realm of superhumans. This is one hell of ritual. Well, on to the next.
"Agility Ritual": Increase the wizard's speed.
"Dexterity Ritual": Increase the wizard's reaction time and Reflexes.
So, the strength, agility, and dexterity rituals will make me a budding spiderman, cool!!. Let's see the next one. Oh! These are interesting.
"EyeSight" and "Hearing Rituals": Improves Eyesight and Hearing.
Can't wait to see the result of these though, especially the eyesight ritual seems sick. It requires blood from several species of eagle and these eagles look like magical.
And I think the last physical ritual seems to be the most powerful and also a rare one because it is a ritual to enhance the brain of a wizard.
"Mind Ritual": Increases Intelligence.
Increases Thought processing speed.
Gifts sixth sense.
If whatever biology knowledge I had is still intact. What this ritual does is activate more neurons in my brain and thus increasing my "IQ" which the wizards chose to eloquently call "intelligence", lol and this ritual also increases the speed of my thought process. But I don't know how this sixth sense is activated though. So counting everything, I got SIX awesome physical rituals, especially that Mind ritual is sick as fuck.
Now let's look at the magical enhancement rituals. It looks like a short list.
"Magical Pool expansion ritual": Increases the amount of magic one has.
"Magical Maturity Rate Enchantment ritual": Increases the rate at which the magical pool increases.
"Magical Channels Expansion ritual": Increases Magical channels in a wizard.
This last magical ritual allows a wizard to output more magic without putting a strain on the body of the wizard. Seems like a useful ritual.
On a side note who ever named these rituals must be lazy as fuck, I mean what kind of lame name is "Magical Pool Expansion Ritual." The info on rituals also seems to be lacking, as the info doesn't quantify the amount of increase that these rituals provide. Now to perform these rituals, I need a Runic Silver ritual Dagger, Whatever that means and a huge amount of magical materials. So eager to start my journey on becoming OP, I turned towards my "father," who seems to be waiting for transfer of information to complete. Noticing I got his attention I spoke,
"Father I got the list and information about the ritual that I can perform. But what about the Runic Silver Ritual dagger and the materials required?".
Seeing that I have completed absorbing the information. he gave me a slight nod and with a little pride in his voice he spoke,
"Good. Now that the transfer is complete. It's time to do your ritual. Doing a ritual is a complex business. Since we have to draw perfect runes with a ritual knife and the ingredients required can be rare and also the quantity should be precise. While doing these rituals, you also cannot take help from other wizards/witches as their magic may influence the ritual causes an imbalance. But our family wizards and witches will not have such problems because we have a magical artifact called Runic Sliver Ritual Knife to help with runes. In entire Britain, only we have such a magical artifact and also for centuries we are hoarding rare ingredients required for rituals that are preserved in a time stasis. So, tell me Brax on how many ritual did you get the information for?".
Wow seems like my family has some serious advantages in performing rituals. Now, if I come to think about it without this Runic Ritual Silver Knife, I think it is very hard to perform rituals at the age of three. I mean which three-year-old can carve runes at that age unless he is a transmigrator even then it will be super hard and not to forget that it will be suspicious for a three-year-old to carve runes. Hmm, let's count how many rituals I got. Seven physical Enhancing rituals and three magical Enhancing rituals. so 10 rituals in total then. With my musings done, I spoke,
"Total 10 rituals, Father. Seven physical Enhancing Rituals and three magical Enhancing Rituals,".
Listening to my reply my father jumped down from his chair shouting,
"Merlin's beard, Brax you are the most suitable wizard for ritual magicks to ever born in our family. In our entire family records, the highest amount of rituals one got for their first magical maturity is just SIX. I have got just TWO. We don't know much about our founding ancestor other than his talent in magical sensitivity. And with your number set SEVEN you have to do each ritual seven times and hence requiring 7 times the resources and performing a total of seventy rituals. If this numbers continues in your second magical maturity, which I think will continue seeing your talent in this branch of magic. I think for your third magical maturity we will be short handed in some materials to perform rituals. Well, we will think about that later. Now for the First step place your hand on the Grimoire and call for the Runic Silver Ritual knife,"
I was extremely pleased and also a little smug listening to him to say how rare it is to get ten rituals. It further proves the Rituals Magic is my plot armor and I am going to completely milk the shit out of it. Now let's get this ritual knife. Just like my "father" instructed I placed my hand on the grimoire and called for the Ritual knife in my mind. The moment I thought about the knife a Beautiful dagger with a silver blade and an orange handle appeared in front of me. The entire length of blade is etched with runes and handle has an etching of sun and at the top of the handle there is something like a sharp needle. I was bought out my examination of the knife by my "father's" voice,
"Good, Now that you have the knife prick your thumb on the needle you see on the top of the handle. Doing that will make the artifact bond with you. Don't worry it will not hurt."
Man wizards are weird as fuck who gives a three-year-old kid a knife and ask him to prick his thumb. Well since I am definitely not a three years old at least spiritually. Let's get this bondage done...err I mean the bonding. Following my "father's" instruction I pricked my thumb on the needle present on the handle and the knife somehow sucked the blood and the moment that happened I felt a connection to the knife. Seeing the first step being done I turned towards my father and spoke to him,
"Father I have done what you said so what's next?"
My "father" gave a nod and said,
"Now before the second step, you have to decide which ritual you want to do first. You can do only 7 rituals per month that means you can only do one enhancement per month. I recommend doing the magical Pool expansion ritual. As from this day on your magical maturity has started your pool will increase at a certain rate until you reach your next magical maturity. So wasting one month doing other ritual will make you lose a certain amount of magical pool increment. So for the next step, keep your hand on grimoire and speak in your mind what ritual you want to do and the grimoire will bring out the required material from our family vault in the castle."
What my "father" said makes sense. Ok let's complete the second step. I placed my hand on the Grimoire and thought about doing the magical pool expansion ritual, immediately the grimoire hummed with magic and suddenly the Ancestral hall vibrated a bit before a large circular dais rose in the middle of the Ancestral Hall and beside the dais several magical ingredients in jars appeared out of thin air. After seeing this I looked towards my father and asked him,
"Now what's next father?".
Seeing that I have completed the second step he turned towards me and spoke,
"Now climb the dais and with the ritual knife stand at the center of the dais. After that think only about the runes related to the magical pool expansion ritual and release the knife. The knife will start carving the ritual runes and while it is doing so, you should not stop thinking about the runes until the ritual knife is done carving. The moment that is done. The grimoire will automatically place the respective ingredients on the runes. after that starting speaking the incantation related to the ritual. Don't worry about the pronunciation it will come directly to you as it is engraved in your mind by the Grimoire. But the most important thing is that you must be fully focused on the process while doing this."
Seems simple enough. Giving my father a nod who in return gave a smile as an encouragement. After that I started walking towards the dais and a few moments later I stood in the middle of the dais. I close my eyes and concentrated on the runes related to magical pool expansion ritual and I let the ritual knife out of my hand. Through the connection that I shared with the knife I felt its movements of inscribing the runes on the dais. During this entire time I was fully focused on the task at hand.
After a few minutes the carving was done and seeing the perfect runes etched on the dais, I have to say that the Runic Silver Ritual Knife was one hell of an artifact. After completing the carving of the runes the knife disappeared. Taking that as a cue I started chanting related to the ritual. The chanting came so naturally to me, Like I have been doing this for a long time. While I was chanting the ingredients ranging from hearts of animals to god knows what, have arranged them self on the runes.
As I continued chanting, I felt the magic change around my body and inside my body something very fundamental was changing. I was felling like a chain binding me is slowly being cut off and it was both blissful and tiring at the same time, it was weird as fuck. The moment I finished my chanting the magic was vibrating around me and suddenly I felt liberated and then the darkness took over me.
