I stood in front of the Grimoire for a few seconds praying to who ever fuck the God is to provide me with awesome level talents. After that I put my hand on the Grimoire. The moment I put my hand on it I felt a pricking sensation on my palm, It seems to draw some blood from my palm and I also felt some presence from the grimoire scanning me. After some time, the presence receded back into the Grimoire. When I was trying to remove my palm from the grimoire, I heard my father's voice saying,
"Brax, don't remove your hand until I say so."
I turned towards him and gave him a nod. After a few moments later, a Bright Orange script started to appear on the air above the grimoire. The script was English with a weird style to it. There were also some numbers beside the words.
The first row had words "Magical Pool" along with a numerical 53.
The second row had the words "Rate of Magical Maturity" with a numerical 4.
Hmm, I know what those words mean. But what the fuck these numbers represent?. To get the meaning behind those numbers I turned towards my father and asked him,
"Father what do these numbers mean?".
My "father" looked at those numbers and later at me and sighing to himself he spoke,
"Those numbers represent the standard scale in which we measure magical pool and rate of magical maturity.
For magical pool, the numbers ranging from
01- 40 represent below average talent.
40-60 represent average talent.
60-90 represent a good talent.
90-120 represent an extraordinary talent.
anything above 120 is once in millennium talent.
As far as we consider the Magical maturity
01-03 represent as a below average
04-06 represent as an average
07-08 represent as a good
09-10 represent as an extraordinary talent.
We consider anything above 10 as a once in millennium talent
So with a number 53 and 4 you have an "average" talent in both the magical pool and magical maturity. But don't worry Brax even if you had below average talents with the help of Summerking family rituals you would become an exceptional wizard."
Oh! fuck no. God dammit, the fucking "average" curse strikes again. Bloody fuck! Wait what about the third talent why Grimoire has showed nothing? With a little hope that at least the magical sensitivity doesn't get tagged with my average course. I turned towards my father and asked him,
"Father what about the Magical Sensitivity?".
To which my "father" replied,
"For that you should wait for more time Brax. Since the magical sensitivity is related to the soul of a wizard it takes more time for the Grimoire to measure."
Well, lets hope my "average" curse doesn't affect my magical sensitivity. If I have good talent in magical sensitivity, I will be able to enhance my physical or magical aspect three times. I was brought out of my musings by a bright orange light shining out of the diamond present on the grimoire. after a few seconds the light died down and I could hear my father laughing aloud and shouting,
"hahaha at last Magic has blessed our family with a once in a lifetime wizard."
Ok pushing aside my "father's" creepy laugh. I like where this is going. seems like my magical sensitivity is my "plot Armour". Let's wait until this creep finishes laughing and ask him what does this orange light means?. after a few seconds my "father" stopped his laughter and turned towards me and spoke with a mad grin on his face,
"Brax you are blessed by magic it self. After our Founding ancestor you are the only one in our family to have a Number set SEVEN. Do you know what that means?"
How the fuck should I know bitch?? explain the shit properly. Seeing my silence he gave an awkward cough and started speaking again,
"If You can perform all the rituals, the Grimoire provides you with by the time you are Seventeen. You will rival the greatest wizards and witches to have ever graced our world. Your only drawback when compared with these Wizards and witches will the Magical knowledge and spell knowledge. But you can always increase those with time and hard work. You, my son will make our family great again."
I was on cloud nine by the time he finished speaking. I mean who wouldn't? I was in a way provided with a fucking plot armor. I was drooling inside thinking about the rituals I am going perform on myself. I hope there are rituals to make my LITTLE BROTHER more robust and potent, heheheheehe. Wait didn't he say I would get a list of rituals. Why the fuck I have gotten no information from the Grimoire, with that thought in my mind I turned towards my father and asked him,
"Father Why I still haven't gotten any information about ritual from the grimoire??"
Responding to the question with a hearty laugh my "father" said,
"Well Brax for that you have to say an oath. Then only the Grimoire will transfer the information about the rituals that you can perform in your first minor magical maturity. Just don't remove your hand and repeat what I say."
So I have to take an oath and then this Grimoire will provide me with the list of ritual for my first minor magical maturity. That means for every magical maturity that I enter, it will provide me with a different list of rituals. Well, it makes sense. Coming out of my thoughts I gave a nod to my father to tell him I understood. Seeing my nod he started speaking,
"Ok Brax the oath is very short so listen carefully and repeat these words 'I Brax Steffen Summerking will swear on my magic to never divulge on my family knowledge to anyone other than my family members'. Just repeat this sentence and the Grimoire will transfer the required rituals to you."
I gave him a nod and started repeating the oath. The moment I finished my oath, a torrent of information rushed into my brain. But there was no discomfort with that rush, just a calm sensation. After a few moments, the information stopped coming and I have knowledge about the method and materials about the ritual that I can undergo. So after going through the different rituals I can do, I was in a daze. hahahahha this is OP as fuck. Now let's get this started.
