His WIFE

Tang Su slowly opened her eyes.

She looked at her surroundings and realized she was in the Hospital.

Tang Su remembered what had happened to her, as she was walking down the road, she was suddenly hit by a car and thrown in the middle of the road. She remembers nothing but that.

Her back aches in so much pain, she tried to move but her legs are numb.

Tang Su grunts quietly.

Zhang Han was busy with his laptop while working. A pile of documents were placed beside him at the couch. He is been working non-stop to terminate and sabotage all Lin Mo's connections. He snapped his head to Tang Su hearing a small grunt and realized she was awake.

Zhang Han rushed beside Tang Su.

"Hey, you are finally awake." He sighed in relief.

Both parents heard him and also rushed beside Tang Su. Poor Zhang Han was pushed aside by Father Tang. He was startled and stumbled unprepared by the sudden push.

Father Tang was acting like a child.

Tang Su was surprised by the treatment her husband received from his father. She was about to say something but her mother grabs her hand.

"Baby, how are you? How do you feel? Mom and Dad is here." Mother Tang held Tang Su's hand.

"W..wa..water" Tang Su's voice croaked.

Zhang Han rushed to fetch her a water but then Father Tang again took a glass of water in Zhang Han's hand and handed it to his daughter. He acts like he didn't do anything wrong or childish at that matter.

Zhang Han groaned in disapproval. His eyes twitch in annoyance.

Everyone saw the exchange and just shakes their head.

Tang Su face-palmed, her father is being childish, and she felt ashamed.

Tang Su looks at the glass of water strangely that her father held in front of her. How is she going to drink the water when she is lying flat on the bed. She could not hold herself to sit, and drink the water.

Father Zhang noticed Tang Su's position and came up to help her sit.

Tang Su hissed, and in pain.

Everyone helped Tang Su to sit up carefully except for Zhang Han who called the doctor to inform and check on Tang Su. He didn't want to compete with his wife's father.

Zhang Han will let it go first, just to show his respect.

Tang Su felt a little disappointed that he did not help her and just drank the water and looked at them thankfully.

Tang Su realizes that something is wrong and strange. Her parents are here with the Zhang, did her parents finally knew about her marriage that is why her father is treating Zhang Han that way?

How is she going to explain to them? That she was not in her right mind when they got married.

Tang Su felt a headache as she thought about how to explain to her parents. The situation she is in is not easy. She will surely receive a lot of scolding.

Tang Su felt nervous and uncomfortable. She didn't know what to say especially to her parents.

All parents want to see their child getting married. Especially fathers, they want to bring their child to the altar on the day of the wedding. They wish they were present on the day of the happy celebration.

But in Tang Su's situation she knew this had not happened, and she knew she was a big disappointment to her parents. And she knew she is in trouble right now for sure.

"Honey, how are feeling? Do you feel any pains? The doctor will arrive shortly to check on you." Mother Tang eagerly asked her daughter . She really wants to know how she is copping up with the situation.

Tang Su looked at the cast in her leg and frown.

The doctor arrives.

"Mrs. Zhang how do you feel?" the doctor asked and felt a sharp glare towards him. He coughs a little at the intense glare.

"How do you feel?" the doctor asked again without addressing Tang Su.

Tang Su raised her eyebrows curiously at the doctor.

"My back hurts, and my right leg is numb."

"Let me check." The doctor announce and asked the two nurses with him for help.

"The wounds on your back shows rapid healing. It is a good sign of fast recovery. Your leg is the same, but it will recovery a little longer than the wounds on your back. We will remove the cast after a month. You will go on a therapy session after, for you to walk normal again. It wasn't that serious though, just don't forget to take your medicine and have a proper rest. Do not exert your right leg. I will also prescribe you another medicine." The doctor informed Tang Su and everyone and scribble something on his paper.

Everyone just nods their head in understanding.

The doctor and two nurses also left after they had cleaned and replaced the bandages on Tang Su's wound.

"My child, don't worry your mother and I will take care of you. You do not need to work, we will support you. Money is not a problem. Come home and stay with us, away from these crazy people. You are safe with us." Father Tang coax his daughter.

The Zhang parents were feeling frustrated. They pity their son.

Zhang Han on the other hand clenched his fist hard, his face hardened and eyes instantly darkened. They will have to kill him first before taking away his wife unless Tang Su herself decides to leave him.

His heart aches in so much pain, twisted and pierced a hundred times.

Tang Su didn't know what to say. She didn't want to come to the point where she had to choose between her parents and her husband. She looks down a little unsettled.

Mother Tang saw the hesitation in her daughter's eyes.

"Honey, Although Lin Mo has been in police custody, we are still unsure of your safety. So please come home with us after reciprocating."

"Please, let's little Su recovered first. We can talk about it after that. Right now, you are stressing her out." Mother Zhang tried to calm the situation down while Tang Su was still recovering.

Tang Su looked at Mother Zhang gratefully. She suddenly remembered what her mother had said and mentioned Lin Mo's name.

"Wait, You mean it was Lin Mo who did this to me?" Tang Su asked bewildered.

"Yes, yes. She was now caught."

Tang Su could not believe. How crazy this Lin Mo could be? Does she like Zhang Han that much that she wants her dead?

Tang Su shivered just thinking about what more she can do.

Tang Su glanced at Zhang Han. She saw the sadness in his eyes, the anxious and worried expression that he masked well with his cold demeanor.

Tang Su realized that she could not bear to see him like this. To see him suffering because of her. Tang Su knows that Zhang Han is blaming himself, but it wasn't his fault, and she knows it.

Zhang Han walked out of the door to let them talk. He didn't want to disturb them as a family.
