Babysitting

"Hey, why the face?" May Lin asked while poking her face.

"I am just thinking about my job on the weekend," she reasons.

"Is that even a problem?" May Lin stood from her seat, winking at her.

"Where are you going?" she's confused and wondered what May Lin is planning to do.

"Let me handle it," May Lin retorted and went downstairs.

Chelsca believes that May Lin will go ask Anthony to give her two days off at the weekend. She won't have a problem if she does not come to work. Her concern is about Lewey. She wants to avoid seeing him, more being with him for a whole day.

She sighed. She has no choice, though. Chelsca was contemplating things when her phone received a text message.

'Do you have to show how you hate to be with me this weekend?'

Chelsca's mouth dropped open. How could this guy read what's on her mind? She glances at him before she replied to his text.

'Showing what?' she exclaimed in her text.

'Yes, you do.'

'I did not!'

'Then make sure to be there; this is for my graduation.'

'And why am I obliged for your graduation?'

'If you are not cooperating with our joint project, we will fail the subject. Also, this will have an impact on your grades for the next semestral.'

She can't believe this guy threatened her! But she can't complain; he is right, though. Lewey still the Senior students they first-year students must obey.

"Chels! I already asked Mr. Anthony to give you the weekend as your off days!"

"Ah, thank you, May," she smiled at her friend. May Lin's mom and Anthony know each other, and so, May Lin could get the permission anytime. She received another text from Lewey, and she rolled her eyes.

Lewey told her that if Anthony doesn't give her a day off, he will talk to the owner. She panicked. Lewey should not meet the owner!

'Don't you dare to talk to, Mr. Anthony!' she threatened him.

'How if I would?'

She's speechless. This guy is something! Chelsca sighed.

'Whatever," she replied and then ignored Lewey's text messages. She saw him frowning, but it is not her obligation to respond to him.

'We suppose to have dinner on Saturday night, but since we have a joint project, I will tell grandpa about it and move to another Saturday.'

Lewey informed her, and she panics once again.

'I don't need to do that. I am not your girlfriend.'

'My family knew already that you are.'

'How if they will know I am engaged to someone else?'

'You are not.'

'I am!'

'I already did an investigation. Jino is not your fiance.'

'And who told you that he is?'

There is a pause in Lewey's reply. She smirked. Now let see what his reaction would be... Chelsca's thought.

While she looked amused, May Lin notices that she was busy tapping her phone. "Who you texted to?" she asked Chelsca?

"Hum? Ah, nobody," her reply, that later on, she realized she said it the wrong way.

She wanted to glance at Lewey. It must hurt him of what she said, but she did not mean it.

"Really? Just a nobody, but there is a smile on your lips?" May Lin teases her.

She blushes and grateful she's wearing her thick no grade glasses but only an anti-radiation one, and her messy hair exploded on her back; she could easily hide her cheeks.

"What? Am not!" she denied, and she could feel Lewey staring at her. She doesn't like the idea that Lewey would think she's reacting this way toward him.

Their group meeting ended, and she stayed in the cafe for her evening shift. She was surprised to see the person hiding in the locker room.

"What are you doing here?"

"Shush! Let me hide here for a while. My fans still around?"

"Ah... those Senior High School? Wow. How they find you?"

"Ugh. I never imagine it will be this hard."

"Yeah. And it would help if you made a plan for it first. Uncle Kier surely making things plan out before doing something stupid."

"Hey! That's harsh!"

She giggles, staring at Jino's frowning face. That was a joke but half true.

"Yeah. I can't believe you suddenly stop making music and want to live like an ordinary being, a normal college student, is to be exact."

"Look, who's talking here? A princess of herself ?" Jino pouted and rested his head on the table. "Help me to get out here," he begs.

"Huh? And why I should do that?" she asked jokingly. "I did not come here to babysit someone like you. Not to mention an Idol, huh?" Chelsca put out her tongue; then she went to a room to change her t-shirt to the cafe's uniform.

"I don't want to be bothered by your fans club," she jested. Chelsca finely tied her hair and put the visor on her head.

"I'll go work the last shift and headed home after. So then, wait for the next five hours."

Jino groans from feeling hopeless.
