Leon walked up to Eos sitting on the boulder. He jumped up on to the boulder and she saw him.
"It's you... umm...you didn't tell me your name."
"My names Leon, what are you doing here, all alone? It's already so dark."
"I was sitting here admiring the moon. It's hard to see because of the Holy Fire ball so only this late is it visible. What are you doing here Brother Leon?"
"Me? I was just walking, taking in the fresh air."
He looked Eos and her bracelet.
"That bracelet where did you get it from?"
"I got it form my parents... at least that's what grandpa told me..."
"Your parents? I didn't see them when I went to the shop, where are your parents?"
"They're in some far away place, grandpa brought me away because the situation was getting dangerous."
"So you weren't born in the clan?"
"Yup, I'm from another clan. Grandpa brought me here and the clan head accepted us and gave us the name of Flamesmith."
Leon had his eyes gleam as he heard. He was getting closer to the point of information he wanted.
"Do you remember your previous clan's name?"
"No, l grandpa wouldn't tell me either, this bracelet is the only evidence that I was from another clan."
Eos pulled up her left hand and showed a light blue bracelet hanging. It was made of blue pearl like beads with a large bead on the bottom with a symbol carved on it.
Leon wanted to have a better look and asked, "Can I have a look?" Seeing Eos getting defensive he added, "I won't make you take it off. I just want you to flip your wrist"
Leon them over closer and pulled Eos's wrist closer. The engraving was very delicate and thin. You wouldn't notice it normally. You had to look very closely.
It was a clan emblem. Leon could tell that from a look. After looking at it for longer he made it out the beast in the emblem. It was a lions face with a fire like and around it. Around the lion were the words in runic language 'sky' and 'protectors'.
That reminded Leon of a clan, a strong clan that had come to capture him many times.
"Only the Bluesky Clan would be arrogant enough to call themselves the protectors of the sky."
Leon thought. "Is Eos a member of the Bluesky Clan then? Well that would explain the mark and talent in the sky element. But they would never let such a talented child go."
"This bracelet is very pretty, make sure to not lose it."
Eos nodded. As Eos looked back at the moon. Leon gazed at her face.
"Eos can I see your right hand?"
Eos was confused but gave it to him.
Leon grabbed in his pocket and took out another bracelet. It was an inch wide blue silver bracelet. It had intricate carving and looked beautiful.
It was the bracelet he stole from the clan treasury. It helped in cultivating the water element and healing the wearer.
Eos was born talented in the sky element, which was made from fire, water, wind and light. With this bracelet she would be able to cultivate the water element better, in such a water element draught place it was very useful.
Eos unaware of its value nodded, "Thanks Leon, it looks beautiful." She held it up to the moon lit sky and appreciated it even more.
She shook her wrist a little and noticed it was loose. But it didn't come off her wrist.
"Your wrists are a little small for now, but when you grow a little it'll fit perfectly." Leon added.
"No it's fine, although it's a little loose It feels refreshing."
"Eos, so when did you awaken your beasts?"
Leon decided to ask to make sure how much the past had changed.
"I manifested my soul book three years ago. But I summoned an egg, which still hasn't hatched. I don't know what type of beast it will be, but the clan head told me it was at least a four voidstar beast."
Leon started to laugh hearing Eos. 'At least four voidstars?' This girl didn't know she was about to sky rocket to the top with her beast.
Leon however stopped laughing and turned it into a cough.
"Eos, I don't think you need to be so pessimistic, I'm sure the egg will hatch into a strong primal beast."
"So are you practicing any arts at the moment?"
"Yes, it's one my grandpa gave me, it has four levels, I still haven't reached the first level but, my grandpa told me that when I do reach it the egg will hatch."
"That sounds amazing so you must be trying very hard."
"Hmm." Eos nodded.
"Can you tell me what the art is called or its chant, I want to see if I can help you with it. I may not look it but I read a lot and am a genius in practicing arts. It's because of my weak body that I still haven't awakened."
"Fine, grandpa told me it didn't matter If I told others, no one else would be able to practice it."
Eos then spoke in a weird language, she seemed inexperienced as she exaggerated each syllable and Leon who was fluent in the language could barely understand what she was saying.
"I see that's the chant, that sounds strong. But how about this, you change it a bit and chant this instead." Leon then sounded out another long chant in runic language.
Eos decided to try and couldn't pronounce it. Leon waited and continued to teach Eos. He spent around an hour until Eos was able to say it fluently. Even more so then the chant she knew earlier.
"This chant is so much easier, it seems much faster as well. But it sounds similar to the earlier one, but it was much harder to pronounce. It's like a tongue twister."
"Right, try not to share this chant with others, let's keep it a secret between us."
"Really, I can't tell grandpa either?"
"Right you can't tell grandpa?"
"Mister Leon, are you really not a bad guy?"
"I'm the best guy ever!"
"Then why can't I tell grandpa?"
"Becuse it's a secret between us. And a secret between the two us is only a secrets between the two us if only both of us know it."
Eos nodded, she seemed to understand what Leon was getting at, "What if it was a secret between the three of us?"
Leon was seriously getting annoyed by this girl. He hadn't altered the chant to the art rather he gave a chant of a completely new art. However the arts had a similar origin. But had a big difference in ranks, the rank of the art Eos already had was a
The art he gave her was something had learned in his past life. He had memorized after losing his memories of all his arts. At the time he want particularly interested in learning arts, but he did learn all the highest Leon level arts. This was one of them. He got it from a water element summoner.
The art was called
The person he had taken from was only second to him in killing people. Where he walked the rain would follow and massacre everyone around him. He would pass cities leaving corpse filled with holes but no blood as all their blood washed away by the rain as well.
Giving such an art to Eos was something Leon had decided, Eos had the sky element that encompassed a mixture of Water, Wind, Fire, Light and even Earth.
But for every sky element cultivator the talent in each element was different. Some would before talented in the water element while others might be more talents in the light element.
Eos was talented in both the Fire and Water element. But her talent for the Water element was higher. The art she had been given was a sky element art. It didn't particularly suit Eos as it focused on the Wind element.
As for why she was given that Art. Leon assumed that old man was probably talented in the Wind element of the Sky element. That is why he had water and Wind arts available.
Leon decided to give her an Art that she could actually train with better.
Leon took out the two thing he had taken from the treasury. He took out a book and a blur fruit.
"Eos take this as well." Leon shove sit into her hands.
Eos looked at the fruit and asked "Am I suppose to eat it?"
"Right eat it when you cultivate the art I gave you. Also make sure to cultivate with the chant I told you when ever your free. You can also cultivate the other chant as well. That book is also useful. Make sure to work hard, You might be able to see your parents then." Leon said as he jumped off the boulder.
"Well good luck!" Leon the walked away.
As for Eos she watched Leon walk away with confusion. She looked at the things Leon had given her and then looked at Leon again. He didn't have a bag or anything on him so how did he give her so many things?
