Soul Book Formation (2)

Leon opened his soul book and saw the other side of the front cover. This was the place that talked about the summoner.

Normally it was completely Blanked but for talented people that would have their blessings written their. In his past life Leon had the blessing . It was why he was chosen to be the next emperor for the fire continent.

Leon looked at this soul book.

Blessings -

Curse(s)-

The heavens have permanently marked the soul book. It can always be sensed by the heavens, and make sure the summoner is under constant surveillance from the heavens.

[Heaven's Seal][Growth type]

The heavens have placed a seal on the soul book causing it to be much weaker.

The heavens have declared you an enemy of the heavens and shall be an enemy of all beings connected to it. You shall also have decreased luck.

Leon looked at that page and sighed. He had been cursed by the heavens again. This had happened in his past life as well. It was just that then he only had . Now with the other two it basically made this soul book useless until he could find some way to deal away or relive their effects.

As for the blessing, it was his first time seeing question marks. Although a blessing could be bestowed from the heavens like curses, but if it was bestowed from something else the heavens weren't allowed to stop it or remove it. They had to bestow it. At the end of the day they were just regulators and couldn't do as they pleased.

So Leon still expected to see . But he saw just questions marks. He knew that the heavens would make his life as hard as they could so they had hidden the blessing of they couldn't take it away.

Leon couldn't tell what the blessing was he first thought it was but he didn't feel any difference towards fire energy. If he had gained the blessing he would be able to control the Fire energy in surrounding like his own limbs.

But Leon knew the heavens weren't stupid. They wouldn't go through the trouble to hide something that he could figure out easily. So the effect of the blessing shpul be something subtle or something he would need to know to use.

Leon sighed and looked at the first page. It had a golden circle filled with runes. In the circle was a picture of an egg. It was at the center while the rest of the space was completely black. The egg was weird as when you looked at it would disappear but made the looked feel as if it was their.

Leon flipped to the next page, he had seen that egg the whole of his last life and long since gotten used to its mysteries feel.

The next page had a black egg at the center of a world of white. It looked like black ink on the page. The egg was so black that it looked two dimensional as it didn't have any shadows or any light bouncing off it.

After that all the pages were sealed in the soul book. Before getting a soul design Leon couldn't open those pages and contract more beasts.

Leon waved his hand and the soul book disappeared. it had entered the soul space in his body. This was something that most summoning scholars would learn. Instant manifestation and instant returning, was something that needed a lot of practice.

In low level battles summoning your soul book earlier then the opponent let you have the advantage in the battle. And at the scholar level when battling became common it was a must to learn.

Leon started returning to the town.

At the town Leon quickly came back home and slept.
