Soul Book Formation (1)

Leon woke up the next day and as he went down he saw his father preparing breakfast.

"Leon good morning!"

Leon looked confused, "Where is mom?" He had to keep up the act, So he couldn't know that she had left.

David nodded, "Your mom left to meet stay with her family. She hasn't seen them for a while so she'll stay for a while."

"A while? how long is that?"

"A few months, maybe even a year. She'll return, Your dad here will at least one day go and get her if she doesn't."

Leon nodded. He ate and then made his way to the smithy.

In the smithy with the token from Tor's teacher he was able to get one of the best rooms for free.

Leon sat in the room and took out the Flameless soul technique and the dark red orb.

He was going to cultivate here since the Fire would get white strong and only the smithy had a protected enough place.

Leon closed his eyes and started chanting the first level of the Flameless soul technique. It was called Sacrificing the Spark. It needed you to sacrifice a small amount of energy and would make your soul stronger in return.

Leon used the Dark Fire and slowly worked through it. He concentrated and forgot about everything.

...

A week later he finally woke up again. He took out a pill from his spatial ring and ate it.

He then furrowed his brows as a morning he wasn't expecting had happened.

Leon closed his eyes and entered his soul space. In It their were two white seeds floating. The space had calmed down and stopped collapsing as well.

Leon looked at the two seeds with confusion.

"Two soul seeds, this is something I've never heard off..."

A soul seed was made by a part of the soul separating off. It would then awaken using an elemental source crystal and form a soul book and a primal beast.

So one person could have only one soul seed. Now because the souls in his body hadn't completely fused they both were strengthened desperately by the Flameless soul technique and eventually both had a piece of soul break off and form A soul seed.

Leon at first thought of fusing the two together. But then he thought of something unprecedented, two soul books. If he played his cards right it would be possible. He would be on a tight rope but he should be able to do it.

Leon wAlked out from the smithy. He left for the desert of desolation. He had already left the Fire Prism Soul Gem in the secret clan treasury and taken the elemental source crystal.

He walked deep into the desert wearing new clothes of better quality to the ones he had before when he came. Since he now had more then enough money after taking it from the secret treasury.

Leon found a good spot. It was also morning and less beasts were around.

Leon took out the elemental crystal source. It was a large white crystal ball. Leon held it in his hand and looked at it. He concentrated a little and he could see strings attached to the crystal ball.

These strings were formless and spread out in all directions. They formed put of nothing and connected to the crystal ball. Each string was of different colour and width.

Leon looked at the strings and scrutinized them. These strings showed his affinity to an element. Such as the red fire like string was his affinity to the Fire element. That string was hair thin and looked like it was going to break soon.

Leon looked at all the strings and was confused. He first noticed that he had. a connection to too many elements. People usually had one or two elements. special talents may have even more but he had around a dozen.

"The affinities I gained from my past life came with me... But they all seemed to be weakened for some reason..."

In his past life, unlike most Summoners he didn't cultivate a single element by capturing beast a from one element. He captured beasts from most elements and built an affinity to those elements as well.

But their was a difference in natural affinity and the affinity that was acquired. Naturally gained, or the affinity you were born with rose at an exponential rate. While acquired would take hard work to raise.

Now he had a natural affinity to many elements, it was just that his affinity to these elements was terrible. A thin hair like string was the weakest connection you could have with an element.

This confused Leon as almost all his affinities were at this level. even his fire affinity which he had naturally born with as extremely high.

From the dozen of strings coming out from the crystal ball two strings were different from the rest. Two were extremely thick. It was a mysterious silver string and a void like black string. They couldn't be called strings any more as they were thicker then Leon's leg.

Leon recognised the silver string, he had it in his past life. It was the mysterious affinity he had, he never figured out what the element was. The black one, he understood what that was, it was the space element. He didn't know why he had such high affinity to it in this life.

"To awakes i just need to move my soul seed into the elemental source crystal to let it bloom and form my blank soul book."

Leon did that, he moved one of the white seeds through his body into the crystal ball.

Boom!

white light came out form the ball and it exploded. Leon was thrown back from the unexpected explosion. He landed on his feed and looked at the raising white light.

As he looked higher he noticed the sky had turned cloudy. The unblocked desert sun had been veiled by a layer of dark thunderous clouds. Crackles could be heard as serpent like lightning was swimming through the clouds.

Leon focused on the white light floating.

SWOOSH!

A golden pulled came out from the white light. It shot straight through the sky from the ground. In It a meter tall silver book formed. The book had nine thrones float around it. The nine thrones formed a ring around the book. These large thrones were full sized with a size of around two to three meter with exotic design. Form the nine, five were completely blacked out and blurry, they were just silhouettes.

Four stood out, one was completely golden, it had a majestic feel to it and made others want to bow to it. It was the throne of domination.

The second one had a blue ocean like feel. It was clear and pure, but also all absorbing. It was the throne of truth.

The third was a green throne seemingly made from wood, it had an aged and antique feel. It had gone through centuries and had aged enormously, it was the throne of knowledge.

The fourth and final clear throne was made of sword blades and had a force killing aura. It was a black metallic colour, it was the throne of execution.

Leon recognised all of these thrones as these were the thrones he had unlocked in his past life. His past life soul book had the soul design . He had only been able to unlock four thrones before his death.

"So I still have my soul book, that'll change my plans." Leon thought as he looked at the majestic shinning book in the sky.

"Now my primal beast."

Leon looked at the book and saw the light and world distort. Before turning completely black. In a completely black world tow lights appeared. One was silver it was a silver shark it swam to wards Leon but turned into a silver egg and sunk into his body.

The other was a black silhouette. It was a small three tailed Fox it also turned into an egg, this one being black and sunk into Leon.

The world broke and the large book in the sky had been opened when Leon had been sucked into the black world. It slammed itself shut when Leon opened his eyes.

Leon was surprised. The silver egg was the same as his past life, it was the primal beast from then. The black egg was new, it was the egg he had seen on the mountain and contracted before he died.

Leon looked at the souls book shining and nodded, the situation had turned for the better. Now he had a lot of advantages compared to other people.

As Leon looked at the book he heard the thunder get louder. Before he could even sense any thing torrents of lightning came down.

From his eyes it looked as if only one bolt it had been struck but From his slaughter qi enhanced senses he knew 7 bolts of lightning had struck. All of them pitch black.

They all struck at the soul book in the sky. They had all quickly destroyed it one after another.

His soul book first had the thrones shatter one after another. The four awakened thrones reacted and needed a bolt of lightning to be destroyed.

After that the three next bolts of lightning completely destroyed the soul design. It made the soul book completely white and blank. It's size now the size of a normal book. It looked tiny in the air.

Lightning continued to swim and another strike came down. It was another black lightning it hit the book and completely destroyed it.

Leon had his eyes widen and feel to the ground. He still kept his eyes locked at the position of the book.

The empty space changed as silver and black light came out and a white book formed again.

The thunder in he sky roared again. Seeing that it had failed to destroy the soul book it cried again but no lightning came.

It had completely failed.

Leon sighed, "Looks like the heavens wanted to use this chance to destroy my soul book and damage my soul but it failed."

As Leon got up he felt something rising from his throat and instinctively opened his mouth. From his throat twelve bolts of blue lightning came and surround the book like needles.

They surround it and all pierced at the same time. The book didn't get destroyed but the needles were absorbed.

The weather cleared and the book fell to the ground. Leon moved forward and caught the book in his hand. He then let it float in front of himself and opened it.
