Back at Mount Vulcan

the group could see the giant mountain piercing the clouds of smoke and spot in the distance.

"Everyone that is Mount Vulcan, Let's fly a kilometer further, that will be where we will set up camp for training." Oren said as he told his Burning Sheild beast to speed up.

The others also sped up.

They all then landed into an opening in the forest close to the mountain.

"This place is perfect." Irene said as she looked around. "Now first the ten of you need to introduce yourselves to each other."

Abigail went first, "Hello everyone I am Abigail Sunset, My primal beast is a Sunlight Archer. I mainly train in the Light and Fire elements." She then went back waiting for the next person.

Others followed Abigail's pattern, Harris went after her, "I'm Harris NightFire, My primal beast is the Nightblade Fire beast. I mainly train in the Fire and shadow elements."

"I'm Wick Guardianfire, My primal beast is the Winged Flame Coffin. I mainly train in the Fire element."

"I'm Upton Burns, My primal beast is the six-tail Roseflame Fox. I mainly train in the Fire element as well."

Slowly everyone told their names and primal beast. Finally it was only Leon left.

"I'm Leon Flamesmith, My primal beast is a flame Bird. I train mainly in the Fire element."

Irene looked at the ten. She nodded as she said, "I'd hoped you would have told more about yourselves, but this is fine, you'll get closer as you fight together."

"Now you ten will fight beasts here together. We'll move closer to the Volcano slowly. A beast is approaching you all should get ready."

It took a few seconds and the ten could sense the beast as well. It was a giant volcanic turtle like beast running towards them.

Leon kept the Griffin, which he flew here with, summoned. He watched the turtle break through the trees and roar.

"Kill It." Leon said. Before the other nine could attack the Griffin formed a Gigantic hammer and had it smash at the turtle's shell.

Upton who was watching started laughing, "Leon you should attack a beast's weak points-"

The turtle like beast's shell cracked and broke. The beast in the shell was revealed, The Lightning hammer continued its judgment and smashed the beast into the ground.

Upton swallowed back his words. The others watched the Griffin that looked as if it had swatted a fly and then at the Greenstar beast.

"Impressive Leon, however we still need to work as a team." Abigail said.

"Leon Abigail's right, We need to have communication between teammates. You might be able to kill weak beast easily but when it gets to strong beasts you'll have to work with us. So let's practice team work on the weak beasts." Harris walked up behind Leon as he spoke. He was using trick to make his voice and presence come from the left side of Leon while he would hide his presence and come from the right and grab Leon's Shoulder surprising him. The technique was a high level assassination art. He thought it would give Leon a scare to show him that he isn't as all powerful as he thinks he is.

Just as Harris grabbed Leon's shoulder, Leon dodged. "Harris such weak arts won't work on me." Harris was a surprised and stumbled a bit.

Leon turned to Abigail, "I never said I was against teamwork. I find it important. It's just that I don't think I can recognise weaklings as my teammates."

Earlier when they were flying Oren had come to Leon and told him to make the other members compete with him. He said that a teacher could tell others to improve so much but only when they have the fact they aren't good enough brought to their faces they will try harder.

"But they all seem to have their own reasons already." Leon had answered. He didn't want to her to involved.

"You see many of them are from branch clans or have strong reasons to grow stronger. But Many of them grow complacent reaching this far. During the Substitute fight, when they fight they main clan members, they don't put their all and end up losing the chance of getting into the Main team. I need you to make them forget about all of that and just focus on growing stronger."

"Fine, but I need something in return."

"Sure, you'll be getting something, look I'm not suppose to tell you this but the Council has decided to make you the captain of the main team if you do this for us."

Leon was a little surprised, he was asking for something physical but the captain position was fine. But hearing what Oren said, Leon could assume that he was already finalised for the main team.

With the captain position he had to make sure his team was strong. Sadly he didn't remember the team in his past life. He just knew Flint had been the star of the competition.

"Leon you might be strong, but their isn't that big of a difference between us." Abigail said with a scowl.

"Oh? How about this, You summon all your beasts and I'll just fight with one. If you can defeat my beast I'll do whatever you want."

"If you lose you have to apologise and have to listen to me in battle. As for the battle its unfair, Let's both summon three beasts."

"No you can summon as many beasts as you want. I'll only fight with one beast. However what do I get when I win?"

"What do you want then?" Abigail asked.

"I want you to act as my maid for a month."

Abigail started laughing and then stopped, "No, change what your condition, I'm not acting as your maid."

"Fine, not a month, a week."

"I said change the condition."

"Five days."

"Have you gone deaf suddenly?"

"Three days. Are you so afraid of losing with all your beasts summoned against one of my beasts that you still wouldn't accept?"

"Fine, I'll accept."

"Summon your beasts and let's start the fight." Leon didn't particularly care on what he got after winning, He just needed a reason to make her try to win. Abigail was sure would make to the final ten so he needed her to be as strong as she could by the end of this training session.

Upton who was watching this bet turned to Oren and asked, "Teacher Oren aren't you going to stop them?"

"No, I'll allow some friendly competition."

"Friendly?" Upton thought.

Oren was surprised by how Leon had gone about things. He had been purposefully vague and said compete. He didn't think Leon would go all out and make them hate him.

Abigail summoned three beasts. It was the King Sunset Crow, A Firelight Lion and the Sunlight Archer. The King Sunset Crow was a large Golden feathered crow with a crown of golden fire on its head. It flew in the sky ready to attack.

The Firelight Lion was a Bright yellow Lion. It roared and jumped in front of Abigial to protect her. It had a glowing Mane and tail.

The last beast was Abigail's primal beast the Sunlight Archer. It was a Female humanoid beast with fairy like wings. She flew above Abigail's head. She had golden hair similar to Abigail and wore armor. The beast put her hand out and formed a bow out of sunlight. She pulled back on the strong and formed a thin arrow out of light.

"Wow, intimidating, Abigail you should really go all out or this will end in a second." Leon taunted.

"No need, it'll end in a second either way, just make sure to apologise with all your heart. So summon your beast."

"Sure, Griffin you'll be fighting." Saying that Leon couldn't help but remember he had to think of names for the beasts.

The Griffin flew ans landed in front of Leon. It looked at Leon wondering how much strength it could use. After being told that it could go all out, it grew happier.

Leon had decided it was time to start showing the real strength of his beasts. The Griffins Basilisk eyes would be hidden using formless aura as it fought and used it's instant cast ability.

"Teacher Oren you should say start." Abigail said focusing all her attention on Leon.

Oren walked between the two. He held his hand up and looked to see both sides were ready and put his hand down start. He then flashed away to the side.

The Griffin had its eyes form black stars in them as six hammers appeared. Two hammers appeared around each beast about to squish them.

The Lion turned to see the other beasts behind it. It roared and formed a shield of light around itself and all the beasts.

"Instant casting and multi-casting! Isn't that a little to overpowered?" Wick said as he watched. The others thought the same.

Seeing its attacks blocked the Griffin held its head up with arrogance. Hundreds of Lightning needles formed around Abigail and her beasts. By the time the hammers disappeared the four were surrounded by a dome of Lightning needles ready to pierce them.

The Griffin had started acting arrogant in battle. When Leon had seen ferocity in the Blood Angel's eyes the Griffin had seen ridicule. It felt looked down on. From all the beasts Leon had contracted it was the weakest. It decided to grow stronger first it had to act the part. That's why it started looking down on opponents.

Abigail looked at the lightning Needles surrounding her. Leon could have then rain down filling her beasts and herself with holes. The only place to escape was from the ground but none of her beasts had the ability to move underground.

"So Abigail Sunset, do you surrender?" Leon said with a smile, looking down at her pitiful position.
