Leon saw that the seed had already grown into a sapling. It was a small green stick with a few leaves. Seeing that it could now support life Leon felt it was time to contract it.
Leon formed a runic formation and tapped it on the sapling. He then formed the same runic formation and tapped it on the Overlord Cherry Blossom.
The formations appeared on both the plants. They started spinning and absorbing energy and connecting.
The small sapling disappeared and became one with the Overlord Cherry Blossom. Flowers started to bloom on the Tree and their was one pink flower that hadn't bloomed.
Leon looked at, "That's my next contract beast."
Leon climbed up the Tree and dropped his blood on the flower. It absorbed and the bud grew bigger. In his crimson Soul book the blank fifth page had the picture of the pink bud form in a pink bordered circle.
"Now I just have to wait for you to grow into a Dryard." Leon said. He walked up to the Tree and gave It a hug.
The Butterfly was happy as it danced in the flowers. It saw the bud and approved of it. It then continued to spread its life aura in hope to give these plants a healthy life.
Leon then moved back, "Let's go, one thing we have to do before we return."
The beasts were surprised by their new member. Ariel that it was pretty and emitted its holy light to protect it from evil. The Phoenix was about to bless it with its fire but was stopped by the Dragon. The Phoenix understood that it would have killed the Tree and stopped.
Leon then jumped on the Griffin and had it fly towards the moonlight Cliff. The Ifrit followed behind and so did the chimera on its black lotus.
The Phoenix was still on Leon's head and the Dragon was wrapped around Leon's neck.
The Storm Spirit Butterfly flew among the flowers and didn't notice Leon leaving. Ariel was still casting holy spells to protect the flower. She was going all out and taking the frustrations of not being able to deal with the chimera and Ifrit by making sure this beast wasn't corrupted.
After casting who knows how many spells Ariel smiled. She flashed and appeared next to the Storm Spirit Butterfly and told it they had to go.
The Storm Spirit Butterfly finally noticed everyone was gone. As it started freak out Ariel called it over and teleported above Leon with it.
Ariel appeared and flew with her tiny crystal ruby wings. Her ruby halo still floated and lit up the dark night. The butterfly was happy to be reunited and continued to fly as it used lightning Flap to move around.
Leon wasn't surprised by the appearance of the Angel he had told her he was going ahead so she should take the butterfly and catch up with him when she was done casting her spells.
The Moonlight Cliff was on the far side of the Nature continent near this Cherry Blossom forest. It was why he had the Dragon transport him. With its speed they had reached here much faster.
By midnight when the moon was high Leon arrived to a seemingly normal hill. He had the Griffin land at its bottom. All the beasts landed as well.
"Your all about to see something interesting." Leon said as he walked up the hill. The beast didn't know what but followed him.
It was a quick walk. Leon reached the top of the hill. In front of him was the other side of the hill going down and a plane of grass. The beasts stared at the empty field wondering what was interesting.
"Everybody, I want you to go forward and touch the part of the hill in front of us." Leon said with a smile.
The beasts were interested so they did. The Chimera on its lotus didn't touch the ground directly, it knew Leon was the type that liked to mess with his beasts.
After it made sure it touched the ground and made sure. The Dragon roamed the field for a while and came still not knowing what was special.
All the beasts came back curious.
"All of you now watch." Leon said.
The beasts stared and nothing happened for about five minutes. It happened so fast that none of the beasts noticed it. It took time for the beasts to process and understand what had happened. A large part of the land had disappeared and a gigantic gorge was open.
"Everyone this is the Legendary Moonlight Cliff. It only appears on the last day of every month for an hour." Leon had been expecting to come next month since everything had been sped up he arrived a month early.
"We have an hour before it closes, we need to get out before it does or we'll be trapped in it until it opens next month." The beasts understood the seriousness of the situation of Leon's voice and nodded. They all jumped in.
Leon knew that had to get out in an hour. In his past life when he had fallen inside it had taken a few days to revolver and then a few days to climb outside. The cliff had an effect that made you sleepy, which was why he could stay up for only an hour a day. Also why it took so long to recover. He would wake up for an hour and then fall asleep until he had found the pill and the emerald box that allowed him to recover and leave the cliff.
By the time he climbed out he found out that a year had passed. He had been stunned since he had thought twelve days had passed. He thought that time had slowed down in the cliff, but he thought about it more figured that he had been sleeping for a month each time he fell asleep.
Leon assumed that was the situation. After leaving the cliff he looked exactly the same as he did before. However he understood that as a high level cultivation his aging had slowed down. And with the pill that gave him the ability to regenerate, he had recovered to look exactly the same.
He had later checked his conclusion when he had come again for the book in the emerald box. He had a beast wait for him on the other side and had a low rank beast come with him inside. When he had come out the beast waiting had told him a month had passed and the low rank beast had grown in the month, showing the passing of time.
The beasts and Leon flew down. He was here for the emerald box with the book and pill. He was still unsure weather he would be able to get the book since he couldn't pick it up in his last life he assumed he wouldn't be able to pick it up in this one. The pill was his main goal.
The pill had given him an overpowered ability of regeneration. It had made him practically immortal. He had been injured to the point of death so many times, only because of the pill he had survived.
He had researched as much as he could to figure out what type of pill it was. He had never found a pill with similar effects or looks.
