Meeting her again

Leon rode the Griffin back to The secret base. He didn't know what the Soul Dragon was doing but it didn't change his plans much.

Leon knew how Pandora would steal the branch from the tree of life. They would announce they are coming for the branch in advance, around three months from now. The members that had already applied for the mission had already sneaking into the system of the Nature continent.

Two of them entered the army and would join the forbidden division that protected the Tree of Life with Elven Clan.

Soon the other members would cause a distraction and then steal the branch in the chaos.

The soul Dragon announcing it earlier did give the Nature continent more time to prepare. Leon knew he would just have to play the revelation as something he did purposefully and insight.

Leon arrived to the mission hall disguised. He gave one of the soulshades petals in.

"Your mission has been completed. With this you gain another eight thousand points and can rank up to the Black rank."

"I want to rank up."

"Very well."

Leon changed his rank and applied for the S class mission. It still had two spots open. As he applied for it another person also did as well taking all spaces.

Leon looked at the person who applied with him. It was a young girl with green hair and eyes. She had a aura similar to Leon in cultivation. She looked at Leon also applying for the same mission.

"You are applying for this mission as well? We'll be partners soon." She put her hand out to shake it with Leon.

Leon had that brightest smile he had ever had, "I hope you'll watch my back, and don't worry I'll watch yours!" Leon said.

The girl felt a little weird after hearing Leon, but seeing how friendly and kind he looked she forgot about the strange feeling, "I'm Elena Gold."

"I'm Leon Black. Gold? what rank is that?" Leon already knew but he was playing along at the moment.

"It's the elder rank after the Black rank. Are you new?"

This time the lady sitting behind the desk spoke, "Lady Elena Gold, he is new! He came here a week ago as a red rank but rose to Black so quickly. He has only done missions and very hard ones at that!"

"Wow, you sound impressive, but this mission isn't something to be taken lightly." Elena looked at the lady again.

"The meeting time is at the main hall in an hour. All the other participants of the mission Will come to decide on a proper plan."

Elena nodded, "Bye Leon, see you in a hour."

Leon didn't respond. He didn't couldn't hold any longer. His face lost its smile as he walked away. The reception lady was surprised by the sudden change of aura but it was only for a moment so she didn't notice it. While everyone else was to far away to notice.

Leon found an isolated spot where no one could see him. He took a deep breath.

"It's her, my slaughter qi flared up in the seal and tried to crush her soul." Leon thought. The seal he set up was strong but not enough to hold the slaughter qi when it truly wanted to break out. If it could do that he would have been perfectly fine in his past life, why would he let the slaughter qi posses him then?

Leon had a scowl on his face, he really wanted to kill Elena right now. His body was shaking, Seeing her face had reminded of memories he didn't want to remember.

Leon calmed down, "I'll need to play along for now, but I'll have to make sure I kill her before I leave the continent."

As the person he hated most in his past life the hatred had carried on. She was the woman he had seen in the Council of Fire when Flint was emperor. At that time he couldn't control himself, so he killed her and Flint.

Now he had gotten his revenge, he knew trusting her was his fault yo begin with. But that wasn't enough to put out the fire at fire that was his hatred.

Leon made his way to the hall for the meeting. The hall was completely empty other then the other nine people.

A man spoke, "Now we all are here, I Will start by telling you all the plan."

"Harrison and I have already joined the forbidden division of the Nature Army. We still haven't met with the ancient clan since we have been only protecting the outer region." The man said.

"Soon we'll reveal the that Pandora plans on stealing the branch from the tree of life doubling their security. They Will likely ask the forbidden division for help and let us move in closer. With this we'll open a path for two of you to break in and steal the branch. The rest of you will have to cause a distraction."

The man then frowned, "Is what the plan was suppose to be, but someone has already revealed that Pandora will be a attempting to steal the branch." The man said looking at Leon. Every one else also knew about this as well. Leon was the one who had taken the mission, so it was likely him who caused the explosion and revealed everything.

Leon also didn't plan on denying the fact. He couldn't anyway, no one would believe him.

Leon spoke, "You had your plan and I had mine. You should have publicly stated your plan and what to follow if it was so delicate and easily ruined."

The man called Harrison that was next to the man who spoke earlier spoke, "You don't understand, You have revealed the details too early, that Nature continent will be able to prepare for it. The plan was suppose to be carried out during that three continental competition when most of the continent is distracted."

Leon shook his head, "Just alter the plan, we'll carry out a fake attempt of stealing the branch. The attempt will fail but you two will be the ones who helped, You won't take all the credit just enough to gain more trust. With that trust you'll tell the ancient clan you think the attempt was a decoy and soon another attempt will be held. They'll already trust you and give you better positions. We'll continue with the decoy plan and have two teams sneak in, one will distract while the other steals."

Another person spoke, "Do you think it's easy to break in and steal the world tree. The fake attempt will get everyone killed."

"It doesn't have to be us that carry it out. We can have other people do it." Leon said.

Elena spoke this time, "You plan on sacrificing other people?"

"A small lost for the bigger goal." Leon responded.

The man who had been speaking first nodded, "The plan isn't perfect but it will work. We'll have to tweak it a bit more. But I'll get the fake team ready to steal the branch in three months. Now let's talk about distractions. We'll need to distract the Monarch of Nature who will be at the competition. If he teleportation to the Tree of life their won't be any escape."

"Wait, aren't we forgetting about the leader of the ancient clan?" Leon asked. The Elven Queen was a power house much stronger then the Monarch of Nature.

"We have gotten information that she has entered a hibernation period. So she won't be there to stop us." The man responded.

Another person spoke, "For the distraction, a new weapon was recently introduced to the organization, called the annihilation Bomb. It can turn everything in a twenty meter radius into dust."

Some else shook their head and said, "No, we need something flashy for a distraction something like the annihilation bombs wouldn't work."

The person responded, "Actually, It is flashy, It reveals a pillar of light to the sky when it explodes."

The man who was the leader of the group and had spoken first was intrigued, "How many of them can you get?"

"I don't know, but I remember that a large amount was shipped to the organization out of no where."

"Find a number, we'll set up bombs in cities nearby Flower Dance City and Flower Dance itself. We'll blow them up during the competition leaving a trail to Flower Dance City. They'll be to busy looking for the culprit that they won't notice us breaking into the world tree for the tree of life."

Soon the conversation continued and. a plan was made. Every one was given a role and the next meeting would be held in a month.

Leon left the secret area and wanted to start preparing for the plan, "I've been given the job of acting as the decoy when we break in for the Real attempt." Leon sighed, "I am the one who suggested it, but still a decoy." Leon shook his head.

"The people were also the same from who I had killed in my past life. So everything I know about the plan is reliable." Leon nodded as he flew.

But as he moved he felt a pulse in his spatial ring. He took out a token, it was the communication token Oren had given him. It activated and he could hear Oren speaking to him.

"Leon you are being suspected for being related to the stealing of the branch from the tree of life. The council of fire has done everything they can and have been brought to a compromise. You will be locked down for surveillance at the houses near the arena in Flower Dance city until the competition. You need to return as fast as possible. I'll explain everything properly when you come."
