Leon found one mission that interested him.
"Steal the petal of a ten thousand year old Soulshade sealed in the Blueshade Clan: A class. At least Purple rank."
"A ten thousand Soul shade is an amazing heavenly material that can help soul or plant type beast evolve. I have two beasts that I could use it on, The Ifrit or the Cherry Blossom treeling." Leon thought. "Both would go through an evolution."
"But most soulshades have five petals. If the clan has a whole flower, I'll be able to get a few petals for myself. But if they only have a petal sealed, I'll have to give it in for the mission." Leon thought. He accepted the mission and left for Blue Petal City.
It took him a few days of flying and he landed outside the City. He was still in his disguise as a person from the Ice continent. He just changed his clothes and wore a hat.
Along the way he read through all the information he got with the mission. Sadly it didn't say anything about a quantity just the place.
Leon showed a fake pass that Pandora had created for the mission and entered.
"The petal should be hidden in the Cellar of the Blueshade Clan." Leon thought. Normally a mission like this would take time and hard work, however he was going to do this quickly.
Leon found a corner and had Zen come out from his body. He then made his way to the Blueshade Clan.
The biggest building in the City was the Blueshade Clan. The Blue Petal Library was close however Stoll not enough. The clan building was like a pagoda. It had multiple layers and got smaller as you went up.
Leon found an empty spot and had Zen transform and enter ghost form. He didn't need a hiding formation as no one particularly strong was in this city. Most of them had left for Flower Dance City or other big cities. Zen had checked along the way for strong auras and it didn't find anything.
Zen brought Leon in through Ghost from. The two looked around the clan for the Cellar that had held the petal. Leon had grown accustomed to the other realm, he could stay there for a day at most now.
They both searched and found the Cellar. It was led to by a hidden passage way. Leon broke into the Cellar, the Dragon dropped him in and stayed in the ghost realm as it followed.
Leon looked around the room. It had hundreds of metal boxes placed in columns. Leon had the Dragon appear and sense the soulshades. He had tried but the mental boxes blocked his senses and he couldn't find what was inside.
The Dragon found the box, it even Leon that it had found another with the same aura.
Leon ran to the first box and summoned the Chimera, "Break the box open."
The Chimera clawed the box and looked around for stinging interesting it could use.
In the box was a glass tube with the soulshade petal floating in it.
"Chimera break that box open to." Leon said as he pointed at another box. The Chimera did its job quickly and sensed something it liked.
The other box also opened held a petal. Leon kept this one in his spatial ring as well.
As for the Chimera, It had broken a box open and taken out a black fruit. Leon couldn't see it properly, but he could tell it wasn't of the evil element. Most likely darkness or shadow. The Chimera ate it and came back to Leon.
Zen was floating above them watching every move the clan made. It made sure no one had noticed anything.
Leon looked at the Chimera and unsummoned it. He didn't bother asking what it ate.
Leon looked at Zen, "It's time to go back." Zen nodded, it brought Leon into its ghost form and carried him out of the clan and towards the hideout.
Just as Zen left the City it felt something was off. It quickly brought Leon to the ground and entered his body.
"What happened?" Leon asked, he wasn't expecting this.
"I just sensed the Soul Dragon, It must have found a way to follow us silently through the other realm."
"What?! Where did you sense it?" Leon started getting nervous, that soul Dragon was like an all knowing beasts. It knew everything about him, if it some how revealed the information, he would be done for.
"I sensed it in the Cellar we just left. It used some type of ability which gave it away." Leon felt tense. He quickly changed clothes into his competition uniform and used formless body to transform back into his normal self.
He quickly summoned the Lightning Griffin and rode it towards the Blueshade Clan. As he flew over the City he flashed his Competition token and wasn't stopped.
Leon however wasn't the only one rushing to the Blushade Clan. There a few more people. The soul Dragon had purposefully made its use of the ability easily sensed.
As Leon got close to the Clan building he was invited in by an explosion in the ground.
BOOM!
The explosion wasn't particularly big, It had a purpose not for destruction but to reveal something. Leon could also tell it was similar to the explosion he had gone three when he met the Soul Dragon for the first time, just at a smaller scale.
Leon landed near the hole of the explosion others had already arrived. The dust was cleared by the Griffin waving its wings around.
Leon looked around and saw Veronica with a man most likely her father and head of that Blueshade Clan. Other then that he saw a few other men and women some which had come from the clan building others had flown with him here.
Veronica looked around and saw Leon standing their, she was surprised, "Leon what are you doing here?"
Her father looked at Leon, "Veronica it is no time for an outsider to be in the clan, tell him to leave and come back later."
"Father, he isn't a friend, he is the captain of the Fire Continent team, I don't know why he's here."
"Oh?" The man said. He looked towards the people near Leon.
The people nodded, They held their swords at Leon's neck. "Don't move, we will need to ask you a few questions."
Leon didn't really care he grabbed the swords and punished them down. "Don't worry, I didn't cause the explosion, I was flying here after sensing a strong flux in energy." Leon then looked at the people that had come with him. "You can ask them as well, They should be elders of your clan, right?"
The clan head looked at the people Leon was talking about.
They nodded, one of them spoke, "When we sensed the flux in energy he was also flying towards the Clan building. When the explosion happened he was on his Griffin still in our sights."
"Then why were you near the young man?"
"I came to visit the Blue Petal Library, I came earlier and passing by remembered what a wonderful place it was for reading and relaxing." Leon said casually.
Before the Clan Head could say anything else a man jumped out of the hole formed from the explosion.
"Clan head, you must come down to see this."
The clan head nodded and followed. So did the others, Leon wasn't polite either he jumped in as well.
They all landed in the Cellar. Veronica watched Leon as they all walked. She was ready to attack if he did anything strange. All the elders were also prepared, no one trusted Leon.
They were all brought through the Cellar. A lot of the boxes had been destroyed or launched to the side. There were black scorch marks lining the floor and ceiling.
They finally arrived to the place. It was the back wall of the Cellar. On it in big and bold was written, "I've stolen the Ten thousand year old Soulshade petals. Now the branch of the Tree of life is next - Love Pandora's Leon Black."
Leon felt like cringing so hard. Luckily it didn't say Leon Flamesmith, that Dragon was too heartless. Leon could feel the stared of the people around him.
Veronica came up to Leon, "Leon, do you know who this Leon Black is?"
"No, I don't know him..." Leon then saw her face and said, "Your not suspecting me are you? It just happeneds to be we have a similar name, doesn't mean we are that same person."
Veronica looked at the people around her, "Seize him, he needs to be questioned for possible relations to the stealing of a branch of tree of life."
They all summoned their beasts and surrounded Leon.
"Stop. I don't even know what the Tree of life is! Why would I steal its branch?" Leon said calmly.
"We will see what you know and don't know later." Veronica said.
Leon shook his head, he summoned the Chimera transformed into a Dreamfire tiger. It used its loyalties ability. It formed a black lotus this time. It was allowed by Leon to go all out. Everyone and their beasts were trapped by it.
Leon then casually walked out and sat on the Griffin. He unsummoned the Lotus and said, "You all should focus on protecting the Tree of life or whatever it is and stop accusing people without evidence."
Leon then had the Griffin fly away.
The people in the Cellar finally broke free from the mesmerising Lotus. They looked around and couldn't remember what happened.
Even Veronica's Father didn't understand.
Veronica spoke, "It is said Leon's Dreamfire tiger has a powerful ability that allows him to hypnotize even summoning masters into defenseless statues. It looks like the information was correct."
The members quickly left to tell the Monarch of Nature the situation. A threat to the Tree of life was a case that required the highest authority and priority.
