Prologue

I opened my eyes and blinked a few times. I sense unfamiliarity, but I still cannot think straight about this feeling that makes me so uneasy. 

Who I am? Where am I? After the moment had passed, I got up from the bed and saw everything in a daze. I was in a single bed that was made from wood and a thin mattress. 

The smells of burning wood lingering and I saw a fireplace in the room. There are no memories in my head. 

I shake my head as hard as I can and hope that things will get back in place. And then I saw a piece of paper that crumbled at my hand.
 
“Dear Vierra, as you wish I erased your memory from your old life and granted you the cooking skills that will help you in this new world. And let the memory of your recipe from passed life remain. I Hope your new life will give you a better life. From me who cannot be named.”

I let out a heavy sigh. Is this some lame joke? There is a sling bag under the tiny table beside the bed. I found a diary with a name written in front of it. 

“Vierra Maverick”

World of Lost and Found

She ran after gathering her last energy and she finally  stopped under a white oak tree which was big enough to become a house and high enough to almost reach the sky.


She rested her hand on the tree as she took some breath. 


Suddenly, she felt he sunk his teeth, at her bare neck. 


The vampire king appears in front of her less than a minute after she arrives there.


The lady has determination in her eyes. She held her hand high and there's a light in her hand, which created a stake by a small branch of the tree.


She cast a few enchantments and staked it straight to the vampire king who was so lost drinking the lady blood.


The vampire king was stunned before he slowly turned into the ashes.


It was funny how it happened so fast that the lady didn't have time to enjoy his bitter face.


The lady was now inside a cave, she was lying with her skin as white as snow.


Her eyes were dark red, like the vampire king who she killed.


Her belly is getting bigger day by day and it is almost time to give birth. 


"I pray to the fairy queen, the goddess that protects the land to protect the child and I'm willing to die as long as the child survives."


The lady was now giving birth to two beautiful baby boys. One of them had emerald green hair like his half-beast and dark-elf father and the other boy had blue silver hair like their witch and now vampire mother.


She smiled lovingly and held her two boys.


She wrote something in a parchment near the boys. 


'Green hair like your father I hope, you my son will become strong and brave like him. I give you Lorcan just like your father's name.'


'My little sweet boy who has my silver blue hair, you will take my name as your older brother takes your father's, you will take mine. Ronan my dear.'


'Both of you were born with love and exist because of love, I am sorry for leaving both of you too early.'


The lady read a few enchantments, and then placed the two of them in a white linen.


She sacrifices herself by exchanging her life to protect the twins. Her body turned into light then it wrapped the twins body.


I was awakened by the sound of birds chirping outside the window. 


When I opened my eyes, there's tears and my face was wet from the streaming tears.


I took a deep breath to calm myself and felt some weight around my body. 


When I open my eyes, I cannot believe what I saw.


There were lots of tiny humans laying around my bed. Few laying on my chest, breathing softly. 


Some have wings. They were so cute and adorable but it was just too good to be true.


I was wondering if I should move, but seeing how those small creatures were sleeping so soundly I decided to just lay for a bit.


There was something wrong, but what is it? I look around the room, it getting bigger. 


There was a crystal chandelier on the ceiling, the dull wall that was full of cracked stone now has new dark red wallpaper.
