Prologue

I opened my eyes and blinked a few times. I sense unfamiliarity, but I still cannot think straight about this feeling that makes me so uneasy. 

Who I am? Where am I? After the moment had passed, I got up from the bed and saw everything in a daze. I was in a single bed that was made from wood and a thin mattress. 

The smells of burning wood lingering and I saw a fireplace in the room. There are no memories in my head. 

I shake my head as hard as I can and hope that things will get back in place. And then I saw a piece of paper that crumbled at my hand.
 
“Dear Vierra, as you wish I erased your memory from your old life and granted you the cooking skills that will help you in this new world. And let the memory of your recipe from passed life remain. I Hope your new life will give you a better life. From me who cannot be named.”

I let out a heavy sigh. Is this some lame joke? There is a sling bag under the tiny table beside the bed. I found a diary with a name written in front of it. 

“Vierra Maverick”

World of Lost and Found

Surprised by the sudden change I jumped from the bed. All the small creatures were surprised and everyone scattered.


There is no old wood on the floor but the grey carpet has now covered the whole room.


"Did I die and reincarnate to another world again?"


I can see my own face, on the mirror near the dressing table wood.


Well, it's still a Vierra Maverick face so I have not gone to another world.


A sudden yell from the outside made me look outside the window.


The sound of sword clang clear to my ears. I can hear the clung sound from the swords.


Sir Boru was training with one of the twins that I helped last night.


There's a blue clear water flowing out from a gigantic bowl that is floating in the air into the large pool underneath it.


I took few steps back and now looking around my room.


I was afraid but curiosity hit me hard so I slowly pushed the door.


It's smaller than my bedroom but it's my own bathroom?


There's a small jacuzzi, and separate toilet in the corner.


The Smack sound was clear in my ears, I could feel the pain so it meant I didn't dream.


I washed myself and rushed out to the front yard.


The main hall got bigger than I could remember, I had a hard time moving around the Inn and I took longer to get to the front yard.


The yellow and dried lawn now was in green like it had never been lacking water before.


Is it the kid almost died last night? Can he run now?


"Oh my goodness Boru, he's still in recovery and yet you plan to get him bedridden?"


This Inn is clearly different to what I used too.


Madame Anne was standing in the main door.


She was scolding Boru and the young boy who has emerald green hair.


Madame Anne looked at me when she heard I was calling her.


"My.. my… V. You are here? How are you feeling my dear?"


Madame Anna patted my back softly and gave me a warm hug.


A small and fair skin boy with silver blue hair was looking at me.


I shout at my head. I put my hand at his hair and caress gently.


He shakes his head. His teary eyes melt my heart.


"No, it was us who should be thankful to you. It was you who saves our life"


The sound of claps get our attention. Madame Anne smiled at us.


Sir Boru said the weather was too nice to ignore and now with the twins also there's Lana, we all have a simple but healthy breakfast in the front yard.
