Prologue

I opened my eyes and blinked a few times. I sense unfamiliarity, but I still cannot think straight about this feeling that makes me so uneasy. 

Who I am? Where am I? After the moment had passed, I got up from the bed and saw everything in a daze. I was in a single bed that was made from wood and a thin mattress. 

The smells of burning wood lingering and I saw a fireplace in the room. There are no memories in my head. 

I shake my head as hard as I can and hope that things will get back in place. And then I saw a piece of paper that crumbled at my hand.
 
“Dear Vierra, as you wish I erased your memory from your old life and granted you the cooking skills that will help you in this new world. And let the memory of your recipe from passed life remain. I Hope your new life will give you a better life. From me who cannot be named.”

I let out a heavy sigh. Is this some lame joke? There is a sling bag under the tiny table beside the bed. I found a diary with a name written in front of it.

World of Lost and Found

I organize the lettuce, tomatoes and salad on my thin wood chopping board besides the portable grill.


I took out the new ingredient I bought from the magic stall, thinking of making mayo for the burger.


Ronan raised his eyebrow with curious eyes.


"Isn't it what they use for grease the axles of wagons and the chariots?"


Lana also asks me as she wants to make sure I didn't take the wrong bottle.


I nodded at Lana and Ronan. The cylinder bottle was in my hand.


Lorcan came and looked closely at the golden green liquid inside the bottle.


Lorcan's eyes sparkled, all he cared about was delicious food.


How can I miss the chance to get the oil olive.


It's a sign that I will start cooking, and everyone is already excited since it's a sign where I will make something new.


"Lana helped me wash the cabbage and sliced it into thin strips."


I show her how to slice it into thin strips.


After that I cracked about three eggs inside a bowl. And pour half squeeze lemon juice inside the bowl.


"Greg, can you help me with this one. I need a stable energy to whisk it."


He came to me, and started whisk the egg and the lemon the way I showed him. Slowly I pour the olive oil in a few drops while Hugo whisking constantly.


Once the mayo has started to thicken, I pour the oil in a slow and steady stream but carefully not to put it too much.


I have to stop before the oil starts to build up since it will make the mayo become incorporated. When the oil has mixed in, the mayo should be thick and fluffy with the whisk forming ribbons through the mixture.


'Its enough Greg, thank you for helping me."


"It's my pleasure my lady, since I can also have delicious and remarkable food again."


Greg showing his white front teeth with proud eyes. He always praises the food I made and only feels betrayed when I make a spicy food, he cannot stand the spicy food and I will make it less spicy for him.


I put the meat on the preheat grill pan. And shred it with a fork in both my hands.


Drizzle the olive oil onto the meat and some salt.


People around us started to look around, when the smells of the meat combine with olive oil and the smoke from burning wood got into the air.


Lana put the plate where she put the thin strips of cabbage beside the shredded meat.


I took out my tomato sauce and some crushed black pepper from the magic pouch.


I opened up the bun, put a spoonful of tomato sauce, some cabbage, and spread a spoonful of mayo. I put shredded meat and make it cover the mayo. Sprinkle some crushed black pepper.


I put a thin slice of tomatoes and a salad leaf, and spread a bit mayo before I cover the bun with its other half.


"Lorcan, you need vegetable to be healthy"


"Big sis, can you make another with less green?"


"How about I gave you more tomato sauce with the same green?"


Lorcan thought a bit, but he nodded and I patted his head.


I made a few more burgers and wrapped it with paper with half of it appearing ready to be eaten.


"Sister, can you make another ten for me?"


"Vierra... Are you sure you are not a goddess of food?"


I felt embarrassed by their overwhelmed praise and just laughed it off and hand some to Mr. Jusco.


"Uncle, here's some food I made. You should take a rest for lunch hour"


"Th...thank you. I will close the stall in a bit. Could you keep it for me until then?"


Mr. Jusco was so immersed with his trading since the customer is nonstop heading to him for weapons and potion.
