The Legend of the Destroyer and the Order of the Light(part-1)

The Order of the Light,

The order was an organization that existed across multiple universes and dimensions, its sole purpose, to find the agents of the Evil Gods and destroy them,

It was on one of the main planets of the order that we see a man dressed in golden armor kneeling before 10 beings bathed in holy light,

"Arthrum, you have done well in vanquishing the agent of the Evil God Uthos and causing him to lose a lot of his power, with this victory, we have found ourselves some time to prepare against the final one of the Evil Gods, the strongest of them all, Xetherc," said one of the men who had flames dancing around him, this was the god of flames and the stars, Segrasil

"He is right Arthrum, but I think we may need to hurry with our preparations for I feel that something has changed," said a beautiful woman who was covered in shadows, this was the goddess of darkness, night and death, Qhiona

"Are you sure he is ready to learn of his existence?" asked a man who was covered wind, this was the god of wind, sky and Eternity, Lania

"Ready for what my lord??" asked Arthrum in confusion as a man covered in strange metallic glow replied,

"Ready to know about the final enemy you must face before we, the gods of the order of light can face the final Evil God" this was the god of Earth and Nature, Sanas

"I believe that he is ready," said another beautiful woman who was covered in water, this was the goddess of seas, Tranquillity, and Infinity,

"Very well, let me be the one to explain to him," said a man that gave off static, this was the god of Lightning and speed, Khyreus

"No brother, let me, I was one of the few who had witnessed the true power of the monster after all," said another woman whose very presence gave off a sense of distortion, this was the goddess of Space, Phephy,

"No sister, I think that Lania should be the one to tell him as it was his idiocy that ended in the tragedy," said another beautiful woman whose very presence gave off a strong pressure, the goddess of gravity, Qaneas

"No, I think that Phephy should be the one to tell him because only someone who had experienced the monster first hand can explain it," said a man that was covered in a strange glow and gave off a smell of decay, The God of Time and Entropy,

"Silence!!" came a short but loud shout which immediately stopped the gods from speaking any further, the voice came from the only man that was not covered by any kind of aura or power,

The man was tall and had white hair, his eyes closed and giving off a divine presence,

This was Exione, the god of Light and Judgement, the oldest of the 10 supreme gods and the ruler of the order,

"I will explain to him the truth, for I know for a fact that the lot of you would only give him biased version of the truth influenced by your own hatred for the poor soul that had suffered under the Evil God Xetherc," he said as the rest of the gods did not say anything,

"Listen carefully Arthrum for this is one of the reasons as to why we fight the Evil Gods and the old ones," Exione said as he began to tell the story,

'Many millennia ago, before the order of the light had even been formed, Xetherc was one of the first two gods to have found out the existence of the Multiverse and its structure'

Arthrum saw countless worlds and universes being represented as bubbled in front of his eyes as if they were beautiful gems that were too fragile to be touched,

'The Multiverse is not without a pattern or structure, we have long since found out that the Multiverse exists in the form of layers of dimensions and systems of universes, each gem you see in front of you represents a universe with similar yet different histories, laws, physics, powers, and energies' said Exione as Arthrum watched countless gems appear in front of him, but suddenly, the gems started to move away from him until all he could see was a gigantic sea of gems,

'And all of the gems combine together, forms a single dimension, one of countless many dimensions' said Exione, this information was enough to cause Arthrum to be stupefied at the magnitude of the multiverse, but the ancient god was not yet done,

'The dimensions themselves are also arranged in a pattern, the universe that we and the rest of the order primarily reside in is one of the few that lies at what we call, the center of the multiverse' Exione said as Arthrum saw what could only be described as pure power given form, a massive ball of energy that made him feel energized just by looking at it,

'Even we, who had lived for so long that we ourselves had forgotten outage, do not know just how powerful it is' Exione said

'And it is this very power that the Evil Gods, who also belong to one of the Dimensions that reside near the center of the Multiverse' Arthrum immediately had a change of expression as he tried to imagine what would happen if the Evil Gods ever got their hands on this power, but then, he asked in confusion,

"But what does it have anything to do with the truth that you were going to tell me," he asked as Exione became silent before speaking again,

'The Center is not just a source of power Arthrum, it is also the source of divine protection and power which enables those who reside in the dimensions close to it to become stronger and makes their lives easier, the closer you are to the center of the multiverse, the stronger you are' he said but then he once again continue,

'But, It was only in the recent few millennia that we came to understand that the opposite was also true' he said as Arthrum became confused,

'while it is true that the dimensions that are closer to the center of the Multiverse are stronger than the rest, we found out that after a certain distance, the protection of the center does not exist, at first, we thought that the poor souls that resided in the farthest reaches of the Dimensions would be easy prey for the Evil Gods, but we were soon proven wrong'

'The Dimensions which are not protected by the center, these dimensions were exposed to the void without any kind of protection unlike our own, at first, we might think that this was bad, but soon we realized that we were wrong, being exposed to such harsh conditions without any kind of blessings made it so that the creatures that evolved in these dimensions were superior to any other dimensions in existence' Exione said to the dumbfounded Arthrum,

'The further the Dimension from the center, the stronger the native species of the dimensions, this was the logic that we had found ourselves, during the time when we had yet to discover this phenomenon, I had personally led an army of Paladins such as yourself to protect them, only to lose most of my power when I entered one of the dimension' he said as Arthrum became alarmed,

"What???"

'I and my paladins spent over an entire month among primitive humans of that dimension, where even the weakest of them was stronger than me, fortunately, even though I had lost my powers, I still retained my divinity which made the dimension reject my existence, thus slowly expel me and my Paladins from the dimension, but while I was there, I had seen a sight I never thought I would see' he said,

'I saw, with my own eyes as the Primitive humans captured one of the old ones that had come to that planet to conquer it, only to become powerless and watch as the humans thought of it as a new animal and killed it to consume its meat, this sight humbled me and made me realize, that there always exists someone higher than ourselves' Exione said as Arthrum looked as if he was on the verge of collapse,

"My lord, Why are you even telling me this??" he mumbled as Exione once again said,

'you see Athrum, even though the people of these Dimensions are extremely strong, it takes time for them to gain power, the order of light had once thought of recruiting the people of these outer Dimensions to fight against the Evil Gods, but the plan was scrapped as we realized that the time it took for these beings to gain power to be too much, so much so that they would die of natural age before they grew strong enough, but unfortunately, our enemy had somehow found a way to overcome this problem'

'Xetherc had found out after numerous trials and errors that if a being of this world was forced into a world of a dimension that was close enough yet also at the same time far enough from the center and forced to kill beings with hidden divinity in them, he could forcefully stimulate their adaptability and make them absorb the powers of those they kill' at his words, ARthrum immediately became pale as he understood the consequences of his words,

"No way?? you don't mean??"

'Yes, Xetherc made the man kill the people many dimensions who would one day grow to be the champions of their respective universes, and thus, the legend of the Destroyer of Worlds, the apostle of the Evil God, began'
