The Madforged (II)

"It was the Madforged, a well-known gang in the underground world. I managed to talk with one of its members and he told me that exactly 15 years ago something almost ruined their organization and it was done by two men. They were Mr. Willow Jr. and Mr. Herold's twin," Henry explained. He deliberately described the other man as Mr. Herold's twin for the twin's name was similar to him.

"Something?" Camellia immediately asked.

"I'm sorry. I'm still investigating," Henry quickly apologized for he had no reply regarding the 'something'.

"That's adding up to the pile of investigations we need to do," Camellia soffed. She hated the fact that her team had another thing to investigate.

"Brother Henry, is there any information about uncle's whereabouts?" she asked with a furrow on her forehead. The pieces she had was still far from giving her the answers she needed.

"None. But, from what I've found, the Madforged had assigned someone to hunt him. And the other person's death was also caused by this man," Henry explained.

Camellia stared at the screen while her right hand reached for the cup of coffee on the desk in front of her. She sipped on it slowly. Right now, her mind was actively thinking.

"Brother Henry, where is the Madforged headquarters?" she asked as her brown eyes looked sharply at Henry's face that was shown on the screen.

"I'm sorry Young Miss. I tried to ask but even that man didn't know where his headquarters was," Henry sighed. He was disappointed in having no answer to Camellia's question.

"Hmm, don't beat yourself to it. If the man didn't know the answer then he must be someone unimportant," Camellia made a reasonable explanation to help the man not to think badly of himself. Then, she stood up and walked around the room aimlessly. Henry saw her action and knew that his young miss must be thinking about something.

Soon, Camellia approached the central area and sat in front of a computer. Her fingers were elegantly dancing on the keyboard. Then after a few minutes, the room was filled with the sound of someone's waiting ringtone. When the ringtone almost reached the end, a man's voice echoed throughout the room.

"Hello-"

"Mr. Herold, this is Camellia. Sorry to disturb you at this hour. I have a few questions I need you to answer," Camellia spoke. Her eyes signaled Henry to keep quiet. The other shook his head understandingly.

"M-Miss Camellia, haha, and here I thought I was hallucinating. I can't believe you called me. It is my honor," Mr. Herold's voice was shaking yet excited at the same time. A frown once again appeared on Camellia's face. She really didn't understand this kind of reply.

"Miss Camellia, why did you call me?" Mr. Herold's voice once again echoed in the room.

"I want to know if you have any clue on where your twin and Willow Jr. went to do their mission," Camellia went straight to the point. Since the other party had initiated to ask, she would go straight to the point.

There was a long silent afterward. Camellia didn't rush the man to answer. She patiently waited for his reply.

"Hmm, I heard them mentioned Paglos many times,"

"Paglos?" Camellia confirmed the news she just heard. Paglos was the name of the city she was living in. "Did they mention any place in Ostana?" she asked another question. Ostana was the country Mr. Herold was currently residing in.

"My country? No, no. I am certain that Paglos was the only place they ever mentioned the night they got drunk. Now that I put more thought on it, my twin often flew to Paglos for various reasons."

"Is that so," Camellia responded. She turned to the screen before turning her head away.

"Yes, I swear! But why did you ask me these questions, Miss Camellia?"

"Mr. Herold, I hope that there'll be no third ear knowing about our conversation. I don't know what I'll do if someone else knows about it," Camellia replied calmly. However, it was too monotonous that it made the listener felt eerie just from listening.

"Of course. Of course," Mr. Herold answered in a fast manner.

"Mr. Herold, I heard that you're at the phase of choosing the company that can work really well for your new project. I have sent a complete analysis of each company on your list. If you read what I've sent, you should know which is the most appropriate. Thank you for your cooperation Mr. Herold," Camellia didn't waste another second as she ended the phone call.

Mr. Herold who was still at his office saw a mail notification on her computer. His eyes brightened as he clicked on the notification. In the mail, attached was complete information about the companies that recently caused headaches among his team. Then, another notification popped up. He received another mail from the same sender. He clicked on it and looked at the attachment only to be horrified at what he saw.

"God, if this woman spread this information to my enemy, my company is doom!" he heaved a heavy sigh and swore not to talk anything about that woman to anyone. Not even his friends and family!

"Brother Henry,"

"Young Miss!" Henry who was keeping silence throughout the conversation responded. His eyes met the eyes that belonged to the beautiful woman on the other side of the screen.

"There is a high probability for the headquarters to be in this city. You know what to do. And, send a searching squad to these countries," Camellia ran her fingers on the keyboard again and a world map appeared on the screen which now divided into half. The other half was Henry's.

Four countries were highlighted on the map.

"Search for Willow Jr. in these countries. Eglos, Blonia, Tostrana and this..." Camellia pursed her lips at the last country's name. She was very familiar with the name.

"Dutril. Young Miss, should I investigates Young Master's Zen whereabouts?" Henry asked as he saw the expectant look on her.

Camellia shook her head.

"No need. He will be here soon," Camellia rejected the idea. A forced smile was seen on her face. She had a feeling that soon she would meet Zen. This feeling was so strong that she started to have expectations.
