Rowen didn't know if they were watching him or not, but he didn't care. In the middle of the temple, he looked around. All he saw was trees. An endless endless forest. Enemies can be in any direction.
"I should definitely get enough points to buy Lucky Star."
Taking a big breath, he darted to the right choosing the direction in which to proceed.
At the same time, he focused on staying as calm as possible and thus being able to act on the situation he asked for.
He was faster than his normal self and also felt more alive and fit, as if he'd been exercising for a week.
As soon as he reached the edge of the platform, he got a clearer view of the forest.
It was a jungle, full of trees with thicker trunks than a bus, others were thinner but taller. There were vines, moss on the trees, dry leaves on the ground, and it seemed to be a forest that could be housing even dinosaurs.
At high speed, he jumped like a cliff and he was trying to reach the other side.
His eyes were focused as far as he could see forest inside.
More than twenty meters ahead of him, amid trees and fallen logs.
But that didn't mean he wasn't paying attention to his surroundings. When he caught a glimpse out of the corner of his eye high in a tree, he knew there were people or whatever, just waiting to hit him.
In the blink of an eye, Blink was activated. Like the mutant, Nightcrawler, in the movies, two seconds later, Rowen disappeared into a black smoke that dissipated shortly thereafter.
More than 20 meters away from that place, he reappeared in the same smoke that soon dissipated and almost completely lost control and rolled to the ground. Luckily, Rowen managed to stand up and with a quick deep breath, continued running for the first time in a dark forest due to the lack of lighting. And as the 9 seconds passed and Blink left Cooldown, he did not think twice and located a point over 20 meters and slowly changing the direction he was going, teleported.
