Opening of a dungeon

They soon arrived at the hidden mountain where they were just a few days ago. It was lined up beside the rest of the ships and had to be anchored to the port that was soon left behind but the Uncle who could only stare at the ocean behind the curtain of vines, "Uncle, do you want to come to the capital with me?" Fangsu reached out to her uncle knowing that he had an attachment to the ocean but it was traumatic for him because of a incident that happened many years ago, "I was planning to have reach out to you and invite you to come to the capital," Tugging the hem of his sleeves hoping that he would accept.

Her uncle smiled as he pulled out his pipe, filling it with the medicine, "So? What's the occasion?" Lighting a match candle and burning the medicine within the pipe, "You getting married?" He jokingly teased as he sucked in a breathful of smoke before releasing it out.

Fangsu shook her head, "Not anytime soon," Leading out Tian who excitedly pranced on the hard ground, enjoying the land. Taking a saddle and placing on its back, "I have travelling for the past few months. How can I find a man to marry me? A sickly girl?" Teasing her uncle

Her uncle gently smiled as he ruffled her hair, "One day, that man will sweep you off your feet," Fangsu playfully swatted his hand so that he would mess up her hair, "I know there is a person closer than you think who will want to devote their lives to you," He turned to Ang Siu who was unloading the luggage from the ship. Unfortunately, his niece was quite slow at understanding his word but he knew it would happen.

As they were about to depart from the coastal town but her uncle quickly stopped them handing Fangsu a few bottles of seaweed alcohol that had been bottled up for at least a decade long, "Your sisters and mother might this booze," Gently caressing the wine bottle which held the seaweed alcohol but as his niece went to receive he could see despair within her eyes, "What's wrong?" He held his niece foreman as she took the wine into the spatial ring which was all too familiar. His father spatial ring; something precious to the Chen family and it would be passed down the descendants.

Fangsu, on the other hand, was in a state where she was unable to speak, "You don't know?" But, when her uncle touched her forearm, taking a deep breath, "It's been a year. Mother and my sisters were killed and I have most of the materials needed to build them new bodies," Three spirits appeared before her infront of the uncle who could only but he could only see hazy figures and he couldn't see clearly who was who. But, he was able to tell by their voices. Her mother explained the situation which had caused their deaths, however, the only thing that confused them was there had be someone who was experienced in the spiritual field to be able to capture their spirits within spiritual sphere which were already a rare commodity among spirit cultivators. Fangsu was fortunate that she was able to purchase them at the auction and thankfully she was able to escape unscathed by other people who wanted their abilities.

Fangsu's uncle had a hard time processing the information but he began speculating who might be the perpetrator behind the incident. But, it was quite clear that someone had a clear motive to lure out spiritual cultivators who were the only people who could understand the true value of collecting spirits, "Fangsu, be careful in the capital; Someone is trying to keep tabs on spirit cultivators within the capital" He began packing his belongings into a small bag before mounting one of the horses that Fangsu had, "If that someone knows the spiritual cultivation world then they may know that the Chen family and if they know you have one of the members of the Chen Family then the entire family is in danger," The urgency of the now peril situation shook Fangsu to the core who was worried about the well being iao Cheng and Grandpa who are unaware of the dangers that may be coming to them.

With that in mind, Fangsu wanted to hasten their trip to the capital as quickly as possible so she informed the siblings that they would need hasten their speed and go to the capital. Ang Siu who was quite perceptive of Fangsu that this was concerning her family's safety who were probably in the capital and Sim Siu quickly agreed. The four of them made their way to the capital and it would take at least a week of riding at their fastest speed to reach the capital. Halfway through their travels they stumbled on upon a group that was all too similar to Fangsu who happily greeted the group which Xiulan and Wu Song responded in kind. They were met with other groups both familiar and unfamiliar; while some were alone, "Is there something here that so many people are gathered up like these?" Fangsu questioned as both Wu Song and Xiulan both gasped in shocked.

The leader coughed as to stop their gasping mouths from dropping to the floor, knowing full well that not everyone was update with the capital gossip, "Someone tipped a note saying that a dungeon would appear at this location," Looking around at the mass; the leader cupped his hand and lowered his voice, "Apparently, the dungeon belongs to a legendary famed spiritual cultivator and there is bound to be countless treasure to seize up," This immediately send a shock to Fangsu who turned to the group who were also as shocked as Fangsu. Among the spiritual cultivators this was a legendary opportunity which would not come even if someone waited an entire lifetime to see a dungeon belong to a spiritual cultivator it was incredible rare. Since spiritual cultivators are a mysterious subgroup of cultivators it was only natural that many people would be curious about the treasure that spiritual cultivators own and how useful it would be to benefit themselves.

This was a chance for Fangsu to gather materials for building permanent bodies for her family especially since this was a spiritual cultivator which meant that there was bound to be materials which would be useful for her, "Uncle, we have to join, " Fangsu faced her uncle who also nodded, "Xiulan, what is the cultivator's name?" Fansgu needed more clarification as the name might tell her if this dungeon was worth exploring.

Xiulan pinched her chin but she couldn't remember what was the name of the cultivator that this dungeon belonged to, "It belongs to Chen Hwei-ru" This cause another shock to Fangsu who immediately recognized the name as it was only of the ancestors of her family which meant that it was even more of a reason to enter the dungeon, "It's quite amazing that you have same the same last name as the cultivator; the Chen surname sure is a common one," Wu Song chuckled but as soon as he thought that the Chen surname was common, however, he didn't realize that the Chen surname was very rare in the Mainland and that it was only common at her family's motherland before they fled here.

All of a sudden a twinkle of a bell rung as a blinding light shined in the air, ripping through space and time. Massive jade stone door with ornate decoration of foliage covered the door and on each door was a carving of a fierce Qilin which was embedded deep into the jade but from long term of unkept maintenance the flora sprawl in over direction without any direction, growing wherever at it pleased. To think before they could even enter the dungeon the door that was blocking people from entering was a man eating plant; Bottomless Trap. However, it was in its dormant state so it seemed like normal foliage to anyone but Fangsu and her Uncle were vigilance remained completely still. Ripley that were near Fangsu could tell that they shouldn't act hastily sensing that Fangsu understood the dangers of the threat that was guarding the door.

People who were unaware of the dangers, bursting with excitement quickly went to cut the vine from blocking the door. This caused the vines to trembles as flower exploded from the stem, blossoming into exotic flowers but it consumed a people like dumpling; warm and delicious. It was hungry after so many years of being unfed and it ravenously devoured any human unfortunate enough to have been cutting at its vines. Blood spilled on the ground which would then go on to nourish the ground furthering the circle of life and as the Bottomless Trap ate until it was full it eyed everyone that stood motionless into of the door, thankfully, the Bottomless Trap was blind to things that were motionless.

Summoning out a morsel of dead carcasses of an animal, the smell instantly drew the attention of the Bottomless Trap who went to eat the meat; still peckish despite the full course meal. Fangsu threw the carcass as far as she could into the forest where the Bottomless Trap would let go of the door, leaving the entrance of the door unattended.

She pulled everyone into the dungeon leaving behind everyone else who scrambled after them seeing that if they didn't enter the dungeon within that small timeframe the unknown person threw the bait they would the monstrous plant's next snack. But, they soon hit a room with multiple doors with no way to open it. People began walking to different door pathways before being fazed into the wall and into the rooms that they had chosen. But, Fangsu and her uncle knew better than to enter any door as any one of them could lead you to some treasures but it could lead to their deaths. Her uncle walked passed each door but shook his head so Fangsu went to help find the entrance into the dungeon. Placing her hand on the cool stone doors, there was no movement of spiritual energy but she moved to the center of the room jumping to the ceiling where the gravity shifted allowing her to stand on the ceiling.

Brushing away the dust from the ceiling revealing an stone door that hidden very well and it was exactly the same as the other door but there was a smallish amount of spiritual energy. She gripped the handle of the hidden latch of the door but to no avail as she was too weak but Ang Siu went to lend a hand. He was easily able to open the door which Fangsu happily thanked him for before popping her head through the door opening to check for any danger that could be possible but seeing there was a plethora of plant life that was seeming rare and difficult to care for plants that Fangsu never had the chance to see with her own eyes. Rushing into the room staring starred eye at all the plants that were being grown plentiful in this area. Spiritual energy nourished the plants which increased their overall health and potency, seeing the massive quantity of high quality spiritually grown plants. Fangsu couldn't help herself and began carefully digging the plants leaving some remaining behind so that there would be more in the future. Without a concern in the world, Fangsu dug each plant one by one treating them like glass; easy to break with any mishandling.

Even Fangsu's uncle was no exception as he began collecting ripe fruits off the trees that were long grown into maturity, "This is amazing! These plants must have been maturity for many centuries without disturbance," Munching on a piece of dragon fruit that he had sliced with his knife before handing the rest of the group a dragon fruit to which everyone was perplexed by the strange looking and exotic fruit. While Fangsu was carefully scraping off the dirt off three spiritually nourished ginsengs which would be used to make the bodies for her sisters and mother. Ang Siu sat beside her with a dragon fruit in his hand, feeding Fangsu the sliced pieces with his hand. Her soft lips occasionally touching his finger, "Sorry," Her teeth accidentally touch his hand as she went to open her mouth to be fed with fruit. Her lusciously pink lips were incredibly soft to the touch and any man who were paying attention to those irresistible lips to want to bite them.

Summoning a small cloth, Fangsu dripped the cloth into a small water stream that was continuous flowing through the area. Wrapping the ginseng within the cloth to keep the ginseng in a moist condition, preventing the ginseng from drying out. Fangsu continued exploring the dungeon, eventually, coming across a door similar to the previous room. As they passed through the door they were immediately reunited with other groups; some were either very much alive while others were very much dead. The new area was had a stony interior with jagged stones parts where some jutted out from the ground creating a hazardous walk path. Stone pillar stood mountainously over the crowds of people with engraved words of some sort of cryptic language.

Strangely, there were barrier that sealed the edges of the pathway which lead to an elevated platform where there were unlit torches with a fire symbol on it.
