Paik Deok-Su, a American Korean vampire teenager, is trying to live his best as a human being. Being human is pretty easy but also boring. He feeds off bad guys that are on a run. He likes the excitement of being his true self when he feeds. But that could all come to a end as he gets caught by a cop, Cross Valdez. Making him breaking a big rule that was created for his kinds. 

Cross Valdez, a Cop that is trying his best to solve a case that will get him to be recognized as the best cop in his department. At work no one takes him seriously, his coworkers treat him as a child that needs to be protected at all cost. He finds out about Deok-Su secret and arrests him. 

Will the two be able to help each other? Can a monster be a good person? A hero?

So Called Hero

"Ay mi hermanos están aquí chicos!" Vincent spoke in Spanish to the crowd. They all cheered and continued their own things. 


What did he say? I have no idea. Ra and I entered his apartment. "You actually came!" Vincent hugged me and Ra. 


"Why is it such a big deal to be here?" I ask him. 


"You never come to parties." He replied. 


"You do know that I have better things to do than be at a party with a bunch of idiots," I state.


"What read a book? You need to enjoy your young life dude." He leads me to the kitchen. I look back quickly to see Ra nowhere. 


"I have like forever to be doing that!" 


"Sure, now this is Lara," he pointed at a brunette girl. "Hiko." A boy with glasses and dirty blonde hair. "Sara." A girl with dark chocolate skin. "Jiro." A girl who's probably a nerd. "Gang this is my other best friend, Deok-Su." 


Everyone greeted me and I greeted them back. "Where's Ra?" Hiko asked. 


"I'm here! Guess who I found!" He said and we look back to see Lana with some Kool-Aid in her hand. 


"I wanted to bring some beer but my parents got suspicious when I went through their drinking cabin so I was forced to bring Kool-Aid that belongs to my little sisters." She frowned as she set them on the counter. 


Everyone chuckled. Welp Lana plan was ruined. "At least we got the juice," Lara spoke up. 


"Right," Lana said. I look around the party to see many people. People that went to our school were here. 


Vincent is a werewolf. He is also my best friend. We met each other with our parents.


Just then a tall handsome guy walked in the Kitchen. "Vincent can I need to go." He spoke at him. I don't remember seeing this guy at my school. His black hair went well with his blue eyes. His skin was like a Carmel color...I started him and his handsomeness. I really want a taste of him now. 


"Bro don't go, stay and have fun." Vincent looked at him with pleading eyes. 


"Dude, my girlfriend isn't feeling well. I'll make it up to you later." He apologizes afterward and walked away. 


"He's my cousin," Vincent replied staring off to the direction his cousin left. 


"Yep." He suddenly looks at me with a glare. "Don't you dare lay a finger on him." 


"Why do you look at me?" I smile innocently. 


"You know damn well what I am talking about." 


Having friends that know you too well was sometimes a bad thing. I love my friends deeply but it gets annoying when they know too much cuz they will pick on everything you do. I sigh knowing that his cousin was way off-limits. 


I stayed for a few extra ten minutes and then ditched the party. My stomach started to growl meaning that I had to feed. 


I walked two blocks away from Vincent building and pass a small store. I look inside from outside to see the worker on the phone. "Y-Yes...a tall male guy with the mask just robbed the store." Well, that solves my hunger problem. 


At the third block, there was a small ally that people were hanging around. "I got the money." I heard. "That weakling stood no chance." 


They light up a lighter to smoke their cigarette. "Hey, dude did someone follow you?" 


"Why is there a man figure over there?" 


"Huh?" The guy noticed me. "HEY SHOW YOUR SELF YOU DAR-" he cussed at the end. 


I lick my lips and quickly turned off they're lighter. "What the-" I sank my fangs into the lighter guy neck. 


"Dude why did you turn off the light?" The other guy asked. "Wait what is the gushing sound?" 


I drank his blood until he passed out. Not dead passed out, just sleeping. After I took my fangs out I put my index finger and middle finger on the holes my fangs created and slide my hands over them. The marks disappeared afterward.
