Chapter 4: On a good life with a System
"Hey, System!"
"Yes, Adam?"
"Will the System evolve over time?" I asked. Now I had still hope that maybe it could get useful after all.
"Please clarify."
"If I, for example, start to think less about girls and do other things, will my System evolve with me?" I was desperate for a satisfying answer. I had so much hope in this.
"Yes," Answered the System, and I felt instantly relieved. It could maybe get useful! I was so happy. "but," she continued, and I could already suspect something bad coming. "the core of the System will always stay the same, once I have been integrated."
I didn't know what to do with that statement, but I tried to think positive. >Okay, that means I will probably at least have some valuable things later on. I'll probably just have to pray.<
"Adam, you should check out your Skilltree and Shop. Maybe you find something that is, in your eyes, more of value."
>Right, there were even more options in my System Interface- Maybe she's right and there's really something of use in there.< "Thanks, System!" I quickly swiped my index and middle finger over the tattoo on my forearm, and my System opened up again.

Note: New Abilities can be shopped in the Shop and Ability Details can be seen in Abilities. To get new points you have to level up through Quests.

"This doesn't look like a Skilltree at all." I mumbled to myself.
"The name Skilltree might be a bit misleading, but it's meant to mean 'Skill' for the obvious part, your Skills and Abilities, and 'Tree' is meant to symbolize the growth."
"That's kind of stupid, to be honest." I answered, not understanding at all how this was logical in any sense.
"Do you want to change the Name of 'Skilltree'?" The System suggested.
"Yeah just change it to 'Skills' before I get confused up somehow." I said because I knew that exactly that would happen anyway later on, so why not act now?
As soon as I said so the Words on the top of the screen slowly changed from Skiltree to Skills'.
"Done!"
I took another look at the Skills-Window, examining if there was anything that wasn't really self-explanatory before I remembered I could probably just ask my System to give me a quick guide. >Can you explain the Skills-Window to me?<
"Of course!" She answered, and I got myself ready for a long and boring explanation. "At the top, you see your Skillpoints. You get 7 per Level-Up and can collect a total amount of 6993 when you get up to Level 999. Ski-"
I cut her off because I thought I wasn't hearing right once again. "Wait, wait, wait. Level 999!?"
"Yes."
"Why such a high Level? Is it even possible to reach that?" I asked perplexed. The number just seemed way too high for me.
"Of course. A System is meant to last a life long."
"Okay, that makes sense." I admitted a bit calmer.
>I really really hope that I get used to her voice then.<
"If you want to, you can change my voice. Tell me what your problem is with my current voice and I can give you a fitting change."
>I meant that you are literally in my mind.< I corrected her annoyed.
"Wrong." She corrected me. "I can read your thoughts. But I am not inside your mind."
I sighed. "That doesn't really make it better."
"Okay. Do you want to change in 'Verbal-Only-Mode'?"
"No, no. It's okay." I answered. I knew that it may be a bit annoying. But a second thought maybe could come in handy later. "But what is that voice change you talked about?" I asked. Her robotic voice was a bit annoying, to be honest, and changing that to a bit more human-like would maybe take at least some of the annoyance.
"Is it better like this?" She asked, now in strangely similar but not robotic at all voice.
"Uhh, yeah. Actually it is much better." I said happily.
"I'm, glad to hear that." Her new voice was so pleasant that I instantly felt better having someone 'human' by my side. That was until I remembered that she was actually just part of a Sex System.
"And while I age and maybe change, I can get new Abilities, right?" I asked to reassure myself that I at least wasn't stuck with only that forever.
"Yes."
"Okay, and I probably get like Gold or something for Quests with which I can buy myself new Abilities in the Shop?" I guessed.
"Almost. You get between 0 and 3 Shop Tokens per Level-Up. With these Shop Tokens you can buy diffrent Abilities with diffrent prices, Items, Item enchantments amd more."
>Okay, then let me see what I've got in the Shop for me.<
