"Wow, that's a giant shop." I said excitedly for a second before I realized that there was literally nothing in there that could be useful for me. "Wow... That's just useless."
"It perfectly fits your System. It isn't useless. Shall I give you a quick explanation"
"No, no. Thank you." I sighed. "What is about the Spins?"
"Please clarify."
"What can I get out of these? Is it like really random to the point where I can get for example an Ability that has nothing to do with my System?" I asked with a small spark of hope still left for that System.
"No. They are still fitting to your System."
"Oh come one!" I started to walk towards the exit again, still looking at the shop. "And what even is that 'Magic Staff of Oscillation'? That's just a fucking Vibrator with unlimited battery capacity or what?"
"What is a vibrator?" Asked the System and I was dumbfounded.
>I really travelled so far that they don't even know vibrators anymore, huh?< At the beginning of these dimension jumps it just felt like I was reincarnated with no reason. But I quickly realized that some odd things happened. Sometimes people close to me were just missing, sometimes buildings were missing and sooner or later the whole earth was unrecognizable.
I tried everything to get back, really everything but it was to no use. I think that I never was in a dimension twice. Sometimes when I jump I get to a dimension that resembles my earth more than the last one, but I never found anything like it ever again once I got really into it.
I stopped walking, still being in thought before the System answered me to my rhetorical question that I already forgot I asked: "I do not know what you are talking about."
I just started to walk again, not being bothered by whatever she was saying now. I still was crushed, feeling like shit. Getting a kickback to reality after you are so happy for once in while is the shittiest thing that can happen to you.
