Spoiling the princess a little too much

Lin Jian felt his soul leave his body. "Lanni…" 

Lanni scoffed through the phone. "Lin Jian, are you seriously letting her have her way even while knowing that she is trying to seek another man's attention? Don't you spoil your little princess too much?" 

Lin Jian had nothing to say to her sarcasm. It hurt him too, okay! But if he blatantly rejected Ruby's request, she would be upset and that would definitely not help him get closer to her. Hence, he could only hang up and hope that Ruby would soon realize just how much time she was wasting by trying to get close to a taken man. 

In the end, Lanni shrugged. "It's just paying her a visit, right? Alright, I will go tomorrow in the evening. Of course, I will check with Xiehan first." 

Lin Jian remained silent. Whether Xiehan went or not depended on Lanni, but he loved his life so he didn't dare to point that out.
