CDC Neropoxs Military Base

Location New York, US

Again I wish I can go back and smack myself because has not been easy at all! Where do I begin? First of all the troops are crowded into small bunks, you do not know how many times I got stuck under the guy who's a bed wetter. Secondly the food so terrible that when I took a bite of the bread my teeth almost cracked. Thirdly they have communal showers which wouldn't be so bad if A. I wasn't trying to hide my pregnancy and B. Thats its a mixed gender showers (You don't know how many times I've been flashed) so yeah I haven't bathed in three weeks. Finally I've been experiencing the symptoms of the second trimester feet swelling (My feet were size 10 now there bigger than size 12), excessive weight gain (I used to weigh only 200 lbs now I weigh 220), weird food combinations (pickles and gummy bears), back aches (it doesn't help that our beds are super uncomfortable), mood swings (I almost went off on a girl who said I smelled bad), and the worst of all belly swelling (now in order to hide my pregnancy I have to wear 3 friggin ponchos). At the end of the day however I keep reminding myself that it's all for them. Maybe I was overreacting because our time over here hadn't been all bad In fact some of it was nice. Firstly most of the other soldiers we met have been really nice even our drill sergeant! Secondly Oberon and I have been going on dates which were pretty amazing. Thirdly I've been helping Jezebel master her shooting skills, in return she taught me how to talk street. Lastly a few days ago some neropoxers invaded camp after I shot one that was about to infected the master drill sergeant I got automatic respect.

After weeks of training were getting our assignments to be sent out into the field. The one assignment that caught my eye was the one in Lancaster a small town in New Hampshire later on I went to the commander's office. "Sir?" I said while stepping into the commander's office "Who is it?" the commander asked "Private Bethany Griffith I came here to ask you something sir" I said confidently "What do you want private?" he asked "The assignment in Lancaster, I want it and too also be accompanied Private Oberon Plaisaint and Private Jezebel Bowen" "Why?" "I've read the files the three of us can take back the town just give us the chance" "Is there something your not telling me?" "No sir" "Well since your the only ones to volunteer the assignment is yours, you'll be shipped out tomorrow morning." the commander stated "Thank you sir" I said then left the office.

Before getting back to the lodge I realized that I forgot my hat back at the office I was about to walk in when I heard an all too familiar female voice of Head Officer Sara. So I listened in "You have them?" said Head Officer Sara "Yes here are the photos" said the commander "Thats them alright, thank you commander well send a team to pick them up and you'll be paid handsomely" "Anything for you sis" then he hanged up before he came out of his office I hid. When the close was clear I headed back to the lodge to wake Oberon and Jezebel "We have to leave" I told them "Why?" Oberon asked "I'll explain later we have to leave now" I said in a serious tone. That night we grabbed everything we could and left the base.

When we got to a stopping point I explained everything "Well this is just great" Jezebel said sarcastically "There's no way we can get to Maine now they'll be expecting us" Oberon stated. "Okay how about we just find some shelter, rest for the night, and tomorrow we'll think of a new plan" I said then the two of them nodded. Twenty minutes of walking later we found an old house, checked for neropoxers, secure the building, then went to sleep. Things just got a whole lot harder.
