Chapter 7 - The Complications

Putting up her hands stopping his ranting.

"Grandfather, as much as I love you too, I also have to take care of myself. My conditions are simple. It is not like you cant fulfil them."

"Now you are taunting me eh... am I someone that you can easily taunt? Fine, tell me your conditions."

Grinning from ear to ear, she knew he will fall into her trap.

"Now, Number 1, I am not planning to go into office everyday. If you need me there, I will be there 3 days to a maximum of 4 days a week, during peak period. Number 2, I will not be working closely with Xin unless absolutely necessary. Number 3, I will only go in as a consultant and nothing more. Everything else, you will still have to be involved and be the final decision maker."

"The terms are acceptable. I agree to them. So when will you be moving back? I'll get the maids to clean up your old room for you. Do you need a need make over for your room? Do you need a home office set up? Tell me what you need. I'll get it all done up for you within the week."

"Hold your horses Old Man. You don't have to rush into things. I still need to talk to my Principal before I can let you know. As for the rooms, I'll arrange it on my own."

"Ok. I'll be waiting for you to come back home then. Let's finish dinner fast so that you can go back early to type out your resignation."

She rolled her eye at him and carry on eating.
