"Mother, enough. I don't even remember anything about their granddaugther and neither have I taken care of them all these years. All I did was enter the company and assisted in some minor projects. Whatever happens, let it happen. No matter what Grandfather Shen is still alive. It is not like he is dying yet and it is not like we need the money. I'm only there to learn how to run a business and in a few years time, I will leave and take over from Father."
"But Son-"
"Enough. I am going up to rest. Good night."
He stormed out of the living room. His father folded the set of newspaper in his hands and walked back to his room. Leaving his wife fuming.
"I will do whatever it takes to help my son get it all. He deserves it. He has been slogging in their company doe the past two years. No matter what they say, my son deserves the company and I will find ways to help my son get it all back."

Back in his room, he was angry with his mother and the way that she reacted. He always feels that he has not done enough for his Grandparents in law and he is often guilty that he has forgotten his wife whom they have loved dearly. Thinking back on the conversation in the living room, he was thinking what could he have done differently to prevent the disagreement.
His mind brought him back to that scene of that girl sitting on the floor with the books and notes in front of her. That image stayed with him for a while. The feeling of being loved, of being cared for, the calm and comfort that it brings to him fills him up completely.
Puzzled by this whole thing, he took out his phone and messaged the one friend that he knows that he can depend on that might give him the answer that he needs.
"Hey Sal, there is this image of this girl that keeps coming back to me. It all started this afternoon. There is also this undescribable feeling that keeps coming up when she appears in my mind. It is not like those girls that throw themselves at me. It is also not like anyone that I know. I really don't know what it is but it feels very much like home with her. Am I hallucinating or is this just a post-coma thing?"

The message reached Sally Kim. His hospital buddy that stayed in the next room after he was transferred to the normal wards after walking up from coma. She was recovering from a surgery which until today she has not told anyone that she had gone to. He was the only one that knows she was there for an abortion because she can't keep the baby due to cancer.
At that time, she was pregnant and when her boyfriend found out that she was he ran away leaving her all alone. She only found out about her illness and her pregnancy when she fainted along the streets. She was sent to the hospital by a helpful lady on the street and since she only woke up 2 days later, there was no one that they know to contact. That lady had visited her a couple of times and also paid for her stay in the hospital and never came back.
Since she had to be hospitalized as her body was getting weaker, the only thing she can do there to keep herself occupied is to go into the different rooms near hers and talk to the other patients. That was how they got to know each other and soon, they got closed and had been friends ever since.
