Via was right now on her first study of magic lesson, and she was bored.
Harold- our magic can be molded on many different ways. And what that means is that our imagination is a huge factor on our power. Miss Melody, now that you are so bored, why don't you show us some of your more original powers? If you have some, of course.
When Via heard him she got red of embarrassment, and got to the front of the classroom.
Via- (ugh... he is very perceptive...) 'what do I need to do?'
Harold- just show us imagination when facing a monster. Attack this puppet in any way you want.
He created a swordsman like the ones he used on the test. And it stood in front of Via.
Via- (hmm... so many ways... oh! I know!) 'I have as many time I want, right?'
Harold- as long as you don't finish the class, yes.
Via- (hehehe, change of class, magical painter)
Via changed to a white dress with paint stains, a brush on one hand and a canvas on the other. She then begun to paint, when she finished, she showed it to the professor and he saw that it was a panther. She then poured magic into the canvas, and the animal begun to appear on the real world. She commanded it, and the black panther attacked the puppet.
Via- 'is that good enough?'
Harold- yes. It was a really good example. Now, I'm sure that the next I'll say wont bore you that much.
Via got red again, and walked quickly to her seat. Harold, still smiling, begun talking again.
Harold- as you could see, magic can take any form you want. Imagination is power, and there is no M-human that has reached anything close to their true potential. I am no exception. We can always imagine something bigger, but with the limitation of the magic we have inside, and with the limitation of our own imagination limits, there is always room for improvement. Yes, Mr Windhill?
Marcus- is that why the headmaster is so young? His imagination?
Harold- yes, and no. He IS a 23 years old young man. But thanks to his absurd pool of magic, and imagination, he is the strongest M-human in the building. He can bend his magic the way he wants without effort. More so than Miss Melody with her transformations. I'm sure that all of you already suspect this, but you shouldn't challenge him for a duel. He looks innocent, but...
Mathew- already telling them lies, Harold?
Everyone in the classroom turned to the left corner of the room, and saw the headmaster Mathew there.
Harold- would you really negate anything I've told so far?
Mathew- yes. I don't look innocent. I look badass with the headmaster outfit.
Harold- ... sure...
Mathew- anyway, I wanted to tell you that I'll expecting you in my office later. And I wanted to do this in front of the students.
He then phased through the wall. the students stood there looking to the wall for a full minute before Harold coughed.
Harold- and that's one of the things you can do with enough imagination. He can do whatever he wants to do because he can imagine it. And it doesn't help that his special ability just helps him with the imagination part.
Rose- then I could do whatever I wanted with my magic too, right? Like use also wind and fire.
Harold- technically. But only if you can change how you imagine them. Imagination for magic isn't imagination for everything else. It's really hard. And that's why the headmaster is so special.
Via- (that's pretty interesting...)
[meh, you have already trained in this with me, remember?]
Via- (yes, but how did you know this stuff?)
[your mother came here to study too, remember? She gave me some of the knowledge she had, so it's normal that I have taught you some of the things they teach here.]
Via- (hmm... yeah, it makes sense)
Harold- now, I want all of you to imagine realistically a ball of magic. And maintain it above your hand.
Everyone begun to do that, and fail. Via just changed to her magic manipulator class, (she had a blue t-shirt, black shorts, and her hair had a faint blue glow.) and created the ball of magic.
Harold- Via, how much have you trained your magic manipulation? (I think that now I know where her strength comes from...)
Via was a little embarrassed again because she saw that everyone was struggling with this easy step.
Via- 'I can create up to twenty of them, and make them change forms. But that's only on this class... for now.'
The lesson finished 20 minutes later, and Harold told Via to stay on the classroom.
Harold- now that we are alone. How does your class magic work, and why can't you manipulate magic always?
Via- 'I'm not comfortable talking about everything here, but I can say that everything I learn is stored on a different class. But if I get that class to the master level, the knowledge will be available always. So technically, if I get the magic manipulator class to the master level, I'll get that with every other class. '
Harold- then what it is that form you used against me?
Via- 'oh! That's my Jack of all trades class! My own genius idea! I thought of making a class that thinks that all of the other classes are at the master level. I had to make some tweaks here and there so that the magic cost wouldn't straight up kill me, but it worked.'
Harold- yes... that's what I wanted to talk with you. You have an astounding imagination. But if not controlled it can kill you. The headmaster's special ability helps him by not letting him use all of his magic. It's like a fail safe. But you don't have that... so be careful.
Via- 'thanks, professor. I'll be.'
Harold- good, now I have to see the headmaster, good bye.
