General POV
"You believe you can learn Chi by using your eyes?" hummed Oogway as he looked at Ishizu, currently sitting across from him and enjoying the tea.
Honestly, the tea was so good Ishizu couldn't help but drink it.
"Yes, would it be possible to use it on somebody so I can adapt to it? I realized what Monkey did to me. Maybe learning Chi would help us fight the invaders."
"Sure, let's try it then."
Ishizu and Oogway meet up with Monkey and he shrugged and gave Ishizu the go to. Now was the time to use it.
Ishizu activated his Rinnegan and tried to put more chakra into his eyes. Last time he did it, the adrenalin kicked in, which gave him that chakra boost. Now he had to do it consciously.
Everyone saw the silver hue appearing around his Rinnegan and Ishizu looked at Monkey, only to clutch his head in pain.
To my much information. Ishizu couldn't get a proper grasp on Chi and was overwhelmed by the surrounding thoughts.
"Grr, again!" Ishizu opened his eyes and looked at Monkey and thought of the information Monkey knew of Chi.
The instant he saw it, an invisible force knocked Ishizu 10 meters away from his point.
"Fast, use Chi to heal his wounds. We don't want him to die," commanded Oogway, much to the surprise of the rest.
"What is going on?"
The question was spoken by Tigress who came back to see the human she fought lying on the ground with wounds all over his body.
The rest moved around Ishizu and began focusing their Chi on Ishizu.
"Master Oogway, isn't this dangerous? Ishizu's body cannot handle Chi. We would kill him faster than that," Mantis voiced his concern, but he and the others were stunned when the Chi enveloped the human and instead of harming him, actually healed the wounds.
Tigress was the only one that didn't participate in healing. Seeing this human, her brain didn't see a friend in need of help. He was an enemy, and she didn't heal enemies.
Ishizu POV
You know, when you have the Rinnegan, Wood Release, Sage Mode, have an incredible regeneration factor, AND are an expert in Fuinjutsu, you expect to be invincible and no one can harm you outside some deus ex machina plot.
Well, I guess I was wrong. My body burned like I just jumped naked into a boiling volcano, but I could feel the energy expanding through my body.
Every inch of my skin and my organs were breathing like a baby, as if taking their first breath of air.
The world slowly began to form itself back and I could see myself staring at the sky of the spirit world.
"You are awake, good. How was it?"
I groaned in discomfort as I slowly sat up and looked at everyone standing around me and giving me looks of surprise. Even Tigress was there, albeit a bit further away.
Guess she still had some trust issues with me after what I've done to her. Not that I can blame her.
"Besides the pain from my body being rebuilt on a cellular level, I feel great."
And I really did. My body felt energized and if I could, I would like to fight Guy with 7 Gates open in a Taijutsu fight. We don't want him to die.
The memory of Monkey about Chi was in-depth and awesome. Chi was similar to Nature Energy, but unlike Sage, Chi always circulated inside.
It was Life Energy and one had to simply draw it out from one's body to use. It also didn't have a time limit. Chi could be used until one was dead and since we were in the Spirit Realm, one could use it in an unlimited form.
Naturally, one had to learn to draw it out and also in the right amount. No one who just figured Chi out could draw a massive about of it and use it precisely.
That is, if you aren't Po, that cheating protagonist.
Still, I was unsure if Po wanted me to learn Chi while helping his friends. I was sure that if I followed my plan, there would be nothing stopping me in my path and I could reanimate Kaguya without a problem.
"Now that you have acquired Chi, it is time to learn how to wield it. We can't let you go into battle without any information."
Scene change
Back in the Elemental Nations, the rest of the Jinchūriki came out after making a pact with their Bijuu.
Now that everyone was ready to leave, they would since the 4th Great Ninja War already started.
A huge Zetsu army combined with an army of Edo Tensei vs. the Allied Shinobi Forces.
Edo Yahiko dropped Konan off by Tsunade and left soon after. The blue-haired girl was quickly taken into custody and given the information she knew about Madara.
While the war was going on, Sasuke emerged from his training. Now that he was finished, there was one thing to do. To become a full Snake Sage, he had to kill his competitor, Kabuto.
Back in the Hideout, Obito put on his new mask. He had five out of the nine Tailed Beasts in the Gedo Mazo and Zetsu confirmed the presence of the rest of the Jinchūriki on the turtle island in the land of lightning.
The Zetsu army was walking there and he would too join the battle. With Kabuto as an ally, he couldn't lose. Not with Madara himself coming back as an immortal zombie.
These Allied Shinobi Forces would stand no chance. There was, however, one obstacle Obito wanted to get rid of.
Yamamoto.
The man seemed to disappear into the air when the war started, but Obito knew he just needed to wait for the right moment. Which....would never come.
4 hours have passed since the 4th Great Ninja War began.
Naruto convinced the rest of the Jinchūriki to fight the war and not just sit and wait. Just like in canon, Tsunade and A tried to stop them, but being in KCM 2 Naruto had no problem passing them.
Since Itachi wasn't dead, Kabuto also didn't use him and Nagato to capture the rest of the Jinchūriki. No, they just let them come to them so it would be easier.
Unlike in canon, this time around, Kabuto used many other people for the Edo Tensei since people like Asuma or Itachi weren't dead.
Gaara's division encountered the previous Hokage, and they were having the advantage until Kabuto used the Second Tsuchikage to revive the real Madara Uchiha and not in his death form but in his prime with Wood Style and Rinnegan.
Whoever was going to fight him wouldn't have an easy time.
Scene change
A knock on the door made Ishizu scramble for his things, laying on the ground before stuffing them inside a small box that he hid underneath the bed he was gifted with.
"You may come in."
Ishizu expected any of the Furious Five, but it was Tigress standing there trying hard not to look him in the eyes and glaring at him.
Within this facility, Ishizu felt safer than on the outside, so he sighed and tried to give the tiger a smile.
"What can I do for you, Tigress? It's the middle of the night."
His voice made her look up before she pointed a claw at Ishizu.
"Don't think I am here to apologize for what I have done. I still hate you and your special seals. The only reason I am here is for information, and you are the only one that can give it to me."
Ishizu just went to the futon he was offered to sleep and sat down before signaling for Tigress to come in.
"I ain't going to speak about things with a door between us. We are both civilized beings, so let's have a simple conversation. To the comment about hating me… can't be all friends and buddies, eh? Anyway, with what can I help you?"
Tigress walked slowly inside. Her eyes didn't leave the human patiently waiting for her to sit down. After what felt like an hour to Ishizu, the river finally sat down.
"So?" asked Ishizu when Tigress didn't speak.
While he was in their care, he didn't want to awkwardly sit and look at the tiger who had an obvious hate boner for him.
"What is Po doing?"
'Wow, after all of that, she asks me such a vague question,' thought Ishizu before offering her some tea.
"You have to be more precise. Don't think I am mocking you, but your question is very vague. What in particular do you want to know?"
Ishizu didn't want to lower his already low opinion even more. This was a fight where choosing the right words was essential to win Tigress over. One would rather have a friend than a foe.
And it seems that Ishizu's words were right since Tigress didn't get angry.
"How is Po doing? You have spent a long time with him, so you should know it."
"Po is doing well. You should know he has a family of lovable pandas. He can be annoying at times, but Po is someone one should be happy to have as a friend. Though some of his decisions are even questionable for someone like me."
Tigress narrowed her eyes at the last sentence.
"You mean him sending you to us for help?"
Ishizu nodded and shrugged as he took a sip from his tea. Meanwhile, Tigress refused to drink.
"Who knows what Po thought when he used the other pandas to corner me? It's in the past anyway, no need to cry about it. What matters is the present where I am here to help you."
For the first time, Tigress directly looked into Ishizu's eyes before taking the small teacup and with one take drank the whole thing.
"I am leaving."
Ishizu said nothing as he but before she opened the door, he called out.
"Not all humans are evil. I hope you can see past what you have experienced and give me a chance to prove I am not evil."
Tigress didn't stop and left leaving Ishizu alone to do as he pulled his box back out and continued doing his experiments.
