Portal Phobia is a Thing

General POV

"My, oh my, I do enjoy those trips with Ishizu-kun, but even I didn't expect to feel his presence here. He must have hidden himself so well. Yuka-chan, if you want him to live, give me control of your body now."

This wasn't the first time Yuka found herself inside her mind to meet Yamai. The older Otsutsuki introduced herself quite early, without Ishizu's notice.

Yuka first found herself in a throne room with Yamai sitting on the throne looking down on the young girl.

Yamai wanted to show off her superiority, but she didn't expect an Otsutsuki to be such a hyperactive child who ran over to her with no fear whatsoever and began asking her questions about her life, etc.

There weren't many times when the Otsutsuki was left speechless, but this was one of the rare moments. Since Yamai didn't really have someone to talk to in a long time, she happily took the young girl on her knee and a conversation with her ensued.

Over this short time, Yamai grew a liking to the young girl, so when she felt a familiar aura she asked, not demanded, to let her Kāma take over for a short time.

Having no trust issues, Yuka agreed immediately and a green hue overcome the seal that spread over her body. Yuka's small horns grew larger and black markings circled around them. She even grew a few centimeters.

"I'll hope you survive this, Ishizu-san. Yomotsu Hirasaka."

A portal appeared and Yuka/Yamai jumped in.

Though the question was why and what made her leave?

Ishizu POV

Fuck portals. Seriously. When I have the time, I will create a Jutsu that can safely operate, without any headaches or any other shenanigans.

Now, where the hell am I?

Looking around, I could make out the tree one would find in the land of fire. A small tear formed under my eyes as I, at last, was back on Earth.

'Took me long enough.'

There was the urge to kiss the ground, but something fell off about this place. I would usually sense the surroundings before doing something, but that something was blocking my ability to sense.

It's like this place was made so people wouldn't find it by sensors. Not something anyone normally could create.

Paranoia kicked in as I slowly walked in one direction until I found a small monk's temple.

Right in front of the temple was a young boy cleaning up the streets. The boy looked no older than 12 and his chakra reserves were that of a civilian.

'Not a threat,' I mentally noted.

"Excuse me, young boy. I have gotten lost and am unable to return home. Would you or anyone else here know where the land of lightning is?"

Starting a conversation was the only option here when I was in an unfamiliar environment.

The boy didn't answer and just shook his head in denial, but I could see in his eyes that he was surprised to see me. Was this place not supposed to be found?

"What is going on here?" a male voice spoke and my god if I didn't have excellent control over my emotions, I would have shit myself.

"Master Jigen, this man wanted to know the way to the land of lighting," the boy spoke and pointed at the time.

'Fuck, fuck, fuck! You really had to drop me here? I knew that guy was alive, but why did I have to meet him? This portal was rigged too. I knew it!'

"Hmm, your clothes. You must be a Shinobi, am I correct?" future Boruto villain aka. Ishiki Otsutsuki asked me with a sweet smile that looked genuine but was undoubtedly fake.

"That is correct. I am sorry to disturb you here, monk, but I must return to my platoon. A war is breaking out and my village needs me."

Yeah, no way would I give this man more of my presence than necessary. I also had to find Yuka praying this guy didn't already find her and even if I had to leave.

As I said many times, I didn't like Boruto, but if I saw this guy battling adult Naruto AND Sasuke AND winning, I would dare stay close to him.

I'll deal with him after everything is done. Now get the hell out of here.

"Kumogakure is that way. Now please leave us."

His tone was that of an Otsutsuki, clearly thinking I was some insect not even worth looking at, but I didn't dare show my displeasure at how he viewed me. Right now, I had better things to do than worry about my pride.

Restoring it would be a matter of time.

Giving a small bow of gratitude, I followed the path he pointed at and after a few minutes, the feeling of sensing my surroundings appeared again.

I didn't look back, but I placed the scene in the back of my head in case when I would come back.

"Now, where is Yuka?" I muttered when suddenly a portal appeared, making me jump away, ready to throw anything at it.

I must have developed a phobia of portals.

"Ishizu-nii, I am back!" grinned the girl as she appeared out of the portal.

Faster than she could blink, wooden tendrils appeared from the ground and locked her body in motion.

"Eh, what is going on? Why can't I move?" she was great at faking it but I wasn't being fooled now.

"I thought we had an agreement, Yamai. I help you find a new body and you don't take over the girls. Why did you think that breaking a deal wouldn't be seen? I mean, she can't create portals."

I was ready to snap her neck. It didn't matter if she looked like a little girl. The body didn't matter, only the soul.

"But Yamai-onechan said there was a bad guy here that could find her. She asked me nicely if she can take over and I let her."

I eyed her carefully, looking for any signs that she was lying.

'Hmm, if what she says is true, then Yamai must have felt Ishiki's chakra, but why would Yuka agree to the body takeover? Urgh, this whole Kama thing is too complex for me.'

"Ok, let me ask you this. Why did you allow her to take over? I doubt she told you what the mark on your hand means," I probed, still trying to see if the one who spoke was really Yuka or Yamai.

Yuka was silent for a moment before she looked at me. Her face looked sad.

"I-I found out about Yamai-neechan a bit after the electric spark back on the moon. She was talking like a few of the old men I knew, but she was really nice. Please, Ishizu-nii, you have to believe me," she spoke and I could see tears in her eyes.

"If you are Yuka, then switch and let me speak with Yamai."

She only shook her head.

"I don't have enough chakra to trigger the seal. She used up all her chakra to use the portal so Yamai-neechan is sleeping now."

Wonderful. The transformation causes exhaustion. If I had more time, I would do something about this, but I had to reach the war and prepare. I took a seal out and placed it on Yuka's back and let the roots leave.

She looked back, trying to see what I did.

"It's just a precaution for my safety. I still don't trust Yamai, so I will stop you from forming chakra for a while. You'll feel a bit weak, which will be fine, but that's all there is. Now, let's go. I have to fulfill my promise."

General POV

Ishizu was ready to move, but instead of going to the war by himself, he sent a wood clone first, which would give him enough information about the ongoings happening.

Then he looked at the troublemaker next to him. Leaving her with the wood clone wouldn't be a good idea. It was better for him to have her by his side and monitored at all times.

Out from the ground rose a wooden doll body that split itself in half. There were openings for only the mouth while the vision was cut off.

"What's that?"

"Your transportation. I got a few complaints from the other residents about the excessive human smell, and I have to comply. You are no human, but I can't risk their anger. Would you kindly step in?"

Yuka looked at Ishizu.

"You wouldn't do any indecent things with me while my body can't move?"

"Where did you… never mind. I doubt my body and soul would remain safe from the pandas when I'd do something 'indecent' to you. Reverse Summoning."

Back in the Dumping Dynasty

*I take it your trip over the world was… eventful?*

Po watched in amusement as his human Sage gave him the 'I'll kill you next' glare he often saw from Tigress and Shifu.

His eyes turned to the wooden doll Ishizu was carrying. A little Otsutsuki was inside. It was hard for him to control his laughter, since the glare was too priceless.

The glare towards the panda continued as he left the girl with Po while Ishizu went to his home.

Entering his home, Ishizu began throwing stuff over his back, trying to find the stuff he needed.

His home in the DD was a bit unorganized, with various scrolls and ink lying around. A bit of dust has accumulated on a few shelves with books inside.

Grabbing what he needed, Ishizu smiled. A knock was heard on the door.

"If it's either one of you sisters, I told you guys not to bother me."

"It's me. Can I come out?" Yuma's voice resonated from inside the doll.

"How did you escape?"

Flashback

Po shook his head as he watched the little girl sitting on the ground. No matter what she might have done, locking a little girl inside this prison was not something he would do.

The girl was talkative, yet Po could feel she was sad inside by Ishizu abandoning her with him. He got to learn her story, how she lived in isolation and how another Otsutsuki inhabited her body.

Having a good grasp of Ishizu's personality, Po understood the reason Ishizu did what he did. Still, she was his responsibility and just showing the girl to him so he could watch over her wasn't what Po wanted to do.

Right now, he had found an amazing ramen recipe that he wanted to try out. Since the problem with Jack was solved, his friends could visit him again.

With a flick of his pawn, the wooden cage opened and Yuka stepped out.

"This complete fiasco has nothing to do with me. He went that way, so if you want to reconnect, be my guest."

"Thank you, mister Po," Yuka bowed and sprinted to Ishizu's house.

Flashback end

Ishizu sighed. If she was here, then Po let her go. Leaving her outside now would be just rude.

Give me a moment."

If it wasn't for his passenger, Ishizu would have already been going to his destination; Uzushiogakure. He had a meeting with an Uzumaki couple.
