The War has started

General POV

While Ishizu was dimension hopping from one realm to another fighting crazy Uchiha's, adopting an Otsutsuki child, and having a quick encounter with a Boruto villain, the war between the Akatsuki, more like Obito, and the Allied Shinobi forces, started.

With Kisame defecting from Akatsuki, Obito, and Kabuto shouldn't have the information about the Jinchūriki's location, yet this wouldn't stop them from fighting and luring them out.

Obito knew that eventually, they would show themselves. From the information he gathered over the years, he knew that hiding away from fights like this wasn't the style of Naruto Uzumaki. He wouldn't, couldn't stand waiting and seeing how his comrades would be dying every second while he was somewhere safe.

The Zetsu army plus the Edo Tensei provided by Kabuto would crash with the Allied Shinobi Force and even if the Jinchūriki would enter the battle, Obito's side had the ace card in Kabuto or, more like Black Zetsu, Edo Madara.

Technically, they could release Madara at the whole Allied Force and he would destroy them, but Obito and Black Zetsu knew Madaras personally.

The Uchiha Patriarch wouldn't engage in useless battle, or as he liked to call it, dance, with weak Shinobi. Only someone like the Kage or the dead Hashirama could make him want to fight.

There was also Yamamoto Obito was monitoring. He was the only one besides Obito who had Bijuu chakra, but Ishizu deliberately kept his Rinnegan a secret from Obito and Kabuto, so they wouldn't suspect anything until the very end.

Every string that Ishizu laid out over the course of his life slowly came together. That's why the original one didn't rush into the battle immediately.

Instead, he took a small walk toward the battlefield. Kabuto wasn't his opponent but Sasuke's, yet Ishizu knew that even if Kabuto was defeated, Madara would just release the Edo Tensei upon the world.

His Soul-Slicer, the weapon Ishizu wanted to use against Madara, was useless and he didn't have enough material to produce another power-spike, but if you think that, Ishizu didn't have another plan.

Come on, his nickname was 'The Strategist'. The moment he used it for Jack, new ideas formed in Ishizu's head formed on how to shut Madara down.

There were a handful of measures Ishizu planned out to keep Madara from going Wood Clone Susanoo mode on him, but one, in particular, would be effective.

Now, let us see what is happening on the other side of the battlefield.

The first day of the war started, and all the divisions encountered their respective opponent. Anko Mitarashi was captured by Kabuto, Deidara, and Sasori fought and lost against Kankuro and Sai.

Zabuza and Haku confronted the other Seven Swordsman of the Mist instead of being on their side.

From an outside perspective, it didn't look good for the Akatsuki force with many strong Shinobi either alive or in the hands of Ishizu, like the Gold and Silver Brothers.

That's why before night fell, the 80.000 Shinobi force lost about 15.000 people and 40.000 Zetsu clones died, not including the sealed Edo Tensei Shinobi.

Yet the Zetsu army didn't care how many members they were losing.

Before night fell, every Jinchūriki had bonded with their respective Bijuu and set out to help their comrades.

With 5 out of 9 Jinchūriki set to help, not even the Raikage was stupid enough to stop them.

Since Itachi was still alive, so Kabuto didn't dare to send Edo Nagato after Naruto.

Many other things happened like in canon and it really looked like the Allied Shinobi Forces would win this war easily thanks to Ishizu's meddling and Naruto's Shadow Clones decimating any Zetsu clones that were hiding in the allies' ranks.

All the while the war was going on, two Uchiha brothers searched and found Kabuto's hideout. With Ishizu's meddling and Naruto's Shadow Clones, any Zetsu clones that were hiding were decimated.

It took only a few hours for the Jinchūriki to arrive on the battlefield boosting the morals even further.

Utakata arrived to support the Fourth Division, whose commander was Gaara.

Fu assisted in helping Mifune, the Fifth Devision commander, while Yugito went to help the First Devision under Darui.

The Fourth Division, under the Godaime Kazekage, Gaara, had to not only fight a bunch of Edo Tenseis but also the previous Kage like Rasa, the Yondaime Kazekage, or Mu, the Sandaime Tsuchikage.

Each Kage was battling their past, but the rest of the division had problems fighting and sealing the other two Kage.

And, the Sandaime Raikage was a monster on it while the reanimated Mizukage was a master of Genjutsu and growing annoyed by the constant failure to seal him.

He expected more from the future general as he saw some shinobi wearing Kirigakure clothes. All those shinobi knew was how to form hand signs and throw some ninjutsu around, yet none of them bothered to open a history book and read about their previous Kage.

There were few shinobi who specialized in Genjutsu since it wasn't as 'cool' or 'explosive' as the younglings called them.

They threw Kunai after kunai and shuriken after shuriken at an illusion, and he saw many were growing frustrated and their hopes slowly diminished.

That's when somebody appeared.

That beacon of hope was non-other than Utakata, the Jinchūriki of the Six-Tails. When he arrived, he immediately went after Gengetsu Hozūki.

Unlike the casual Kiri shinobi that fought in the war, Utakata stayed out of it and read. That's why he recognized the previous Mizukage and knew what to do.

"Oh, another wants to have a go with me? I already told your friends that I am just an illusion so you either find my real body or run away since I can't control my body to spare you," Gengetsu looked annoyed but Utakata surprised him when he saw bubbles coming from the Jinchūriki's back.

Those bubbles flew towards what looked like just another place, but they attacked something invisible and exploded.

The Mizukage grinned, impressed that somebody had a brain.

"Heh, maybe you aren't like the rest. Good job you found my summon, but that isn't enough to defeat me."

A weird clone of the Mizukage was formed that rushed towards Utakata, who created a large soup bubble that engulfed the clone before it floated up. Since the clone couldn't do his duty, it exploded inside the bubble.

With the true body of the Mizukage found, Gaara poured out a large amount of sand on him before compressing it. Seals began to appear that should hold him down, but then the sand began to turn dark. It seemed that even if he wanted to be sealed, the commands that controlled him made him fight the sealing.

Just as he popped out from the sand and began to use his illusions once again, something hit his body, causing a large amount of smoke to be created.

Genketsu didn't feel any pain, so he just waited for his body to regenerate. That's when he realized that the acid wasn't just simple acid that left his body once it destroyed the part it was on.

Said acid was staying on his body, constantly eroding the Edo Tensei while the Jutsu was trying to regenerate the damage. Neither could overpower the other, but the Mizukage wasn't able to move from his position.

A certain memory resurfaced in his mind as he remembered a certain woman he loved. She was the love of his life before he got the position of the Mizukage. They often fought as it was common in Kirigakure and he won all of the fights. Then she was taken away and came back. They fought, and she used a new power where, for the first time, the fight ended up in a draw.

"Corrosive Acid? To think I would be defeated by the current Jinchūriki of the Six-Tails. Ah, Kitara, my love. Seems like the younger generation isn't as dumb as I believed."

With a smile on his face, the Mizukage was sealed.

If this would continue, the war would end in under 2 days. Rather lackluster, wasn't it?

All that hope that accumulated was gone when Kabuto decided to tip the bar by summoning Madara Uchiha from his grave.

1 person to change the tide of the war. That's who Madara Uchiha was.

Madara POV

The sky greeted me as I opened my eyes. Taking a breath of air, I noticed the absence of air filling my lungs or the sand on my face.

I moved up my arm to see the armor I wore when I was young, not failing to notice the cracks in my skin.

Has Obito failed in his task of bringing me back with the Rinne Tensei and instead used Tobirama's Edo Tensei?

My eyes spotted a face I vaguely remembered since it was mostly covered by bandages. The second Tsuchikage if I was right.

As it turned out, it wasn't him but a man introducing himself as Kabuto, who claimed to have teamed up with Obito. Pathetic. An Uchiha didn't need to ask for help from others.

Now for the enemy? That was something new.

The Allied Shinobi Forces, a group of all the Shinobi's villages, combined.

I was disappointed in Obito. He had all the time and resources as an Uchiha to gather all the Jinchūriki with the help of Zetsu and Nagato but hearing from this Kabuto that 5 Jinchūriki, with one of the being the Kyuubi one, were alive and on the enemies side made me shake my head.

Pathetic.

Glancing down, I saw a number of Shinobi standing on guard. The kunais and swords trembled in their hands when an old midget pronounced my name. Ah, the snot-nosed brat, Onoki. He was still alive.

I had to give the bare minimum of praise to this Kabuto since he improved the Edo Tensei from the regular one. My body looked young and I could feel Hashirama's head poking on the armor.

He would answer my questions some other time, but even if the Edo Tensei has some benefits, it also had its downsides.

On the one hand, my resurrected body wouldn't function at 100% like the alive counterpart, though this Kabuto informed me that he experiment on my corpse.

Of course, I knew the signs to break free and dissolve that problem. When I heard Tobirama created such Jutsu I looked into it.

Another downside was that being a walking corpse stopped me from experiencing the joy of being alive. I wanted to feel the air filling my lungs and the blood circulation in my body. To be alive again. Feel the joy of a fight to the death.

But the biggest disadvantage was the fact that a corpse couldn't become the Juubi's Jinchūriki. Kabuto informed me that Obito was now in possession of his Rinnegan, meaning the Uzumaki boy in Ame, who I gave it, was dead. That just meant that another one had to sacrifice his life for my resurrection. Obito's usefulness was coming to an end.

General POV

Utakata didn't hesitate to transform into Saiken and bombard Madara with acid. The Uchiha dodged easily as he ran at the mass of shinobi and like a one-man army, kill anyone that dared to fight him. People screamed as they fell.

"Rasenshuriken!" A loud swirling sound echoed through the air as a large rasenshuriken sailed toward Madara.

A clone of Naruto Uzumaki arrived on the battled field and quickly dispatched the 4th Raikage and Mu before focusing on Madara. However, Madara showed him Kabuto's meddling with the Edo Tensei as his Sharingan transformed into the Rinnegan.

Just to show them he was on another level, Madara greeted the Shinobi Alliance with two giant meteors coming down to earth.

One attack was enough to drop the morals. It was only thanks to the Kazekage, Gaara, combining his sand power, Onoki, Naruto in his KCM2, and Utakata that they managed to stop the gifts.

Naruto's clone had lost a lot of chakra in that process and wouldn't help the fight against Madara. Then Madara pulled another ace up his sleeves and used Hashirama's Wood Style to incapacitate Utakata saying he would take him to feed him to the Gedo Mazo as Obito failed to do it himself as the Kyuubi was just a clone and he would find him sooner or later.

Before Madara could do any more damage, a loud thundercrack formed in the middle of the battle. There stood 3 people. The other Kage have arrived to fight Madara in a 5 vs. 1 battle.
