Chapter 8: she met her match

So do you want to see my lawyer after checking out the CCTV or do you want to answer the question you didn't answer before? Jason said as he looks at the confused look on the girls face. "Looks like I'm going to have a lot of fun with this one, my life here wont be boring after all" he thought. He was totally right, but who was he kidding, he was talking to the queen of mischief and he didn't even know it.

She scratched her head, while thinking, "looks like i have to bring my topnotch acting skills to play here, i really cant afford a lawsuit and it doesn't seem to be buying it at all" lawyer? CCTV? I mean who needs a lawyer to answer a personal question between acquaintances? Its just a question you know, you don't have to bring a lawyer into this, I'm sure he's trying to have a nice weekend with his family besides i already apologized for bumping into you, you just didn't hear it... she smiled at Jason and said because i did it in my heart...

She turned to leave but her hand was grabbed by the man, she frowned and tried to wiggle her wrist out of his hold, but he still held her firmly, she tried again for the last time but he still didnt let her go, she turned around in annoyance and said, Ive already apologised to you sir plus i even went as far as proposing to pay my own medical expenses for my displaced shoulder, don't tell me you're still shamelessly holding a grudge and still want to sue me are men suppose to be this petty...

If this is supposed to be another pick up line Ill have you know that... she immediately changed her next statement when she saw the look of annoyance on his face, that? He asked her coldly. "Oh no! I've overdone it again, I'm toast" she thought as she quickly came up with something to appease him... that? He asked her again, but then she flashed him that smile that had already sealed her fate that she didnt know he loved so much. That it is totally working, im sold you can buy me dinner she said. It took all of Jasons strength to conceal his emotions as he wondered, (WTF is going on).

Ru lan thought of a comeback reply as she wanted to dodge the question he asked about knowing him by all means, she really didn't want to lie to him. Well! She said and bowed her head in defeat. Jason was too happy when he heard the word dinner and go out with me that he didn't even realise this young lady was changing the topic. He has an IQ of 146, a genius in all sense of the word but all his brain became muddled up seeing his little lady pouting in front of him. NO he replied, she immediately raised her head and looked up at him thinking, "Did he just see my charm and resist" but what he said next assured her of the magnetic powers of her skills. Both were still holding hands forgetting that they were still in the hallway close to the restroom, and passer-bys were now looking at them. They both noticed the looks of the people passing by, seeing as Jason was new in city E they didn't recognize him but the girls were still drooling at his handsomeness which earned them a glare from Ru lan. "Possessive already i see, how dare they feast on prince charming with their eyes" she thought as she felt awkward when she realised that they were still holding hands.

She removed her hand from his and turned around as a blush crept up on her cheeks, she didn't notice that the gentleman's ears had already tinged red as well. Cough Cough ... he coughed to ease the awkwardness, well Daisy, Ill hold you up to that dinner, what would you like? He asked, well anything, I'm not that picky, I'm a foodie she said as she smiled in embarrassment. Okay then, I will ensure you enjoy your dinner miss he smiled, Ill contact you, and he smiled as he extends his phone to her to input her contact information after which he turned to leave. After taking about 3 steps he turned around again with a smile plastered on his face and said, it was really nice to meet you Miss Ru lan, same here Mr Li jaesun she said and smiled as well.

When Li jaesun turned into a corner he saw assistant Ju holding his tablet with a myriad of expressions on his face, he looked surprised, startled, confused, shocked, and he didn't even know how to describe what he felt when he saw his boss smiling at the lady just now. After the inspection earlier assistant Ju was looking for his boss everywhere, he couldn't find him so he decided to walk towards the restroom to find his boss but was shocked when he saw he heard his boss say, yes I'd love to buy you dinner and initiated a handshake with another human being, especially when he saw that the other person is a woman. But then he saw his evil boss smile and his mind crashed as he thought "I didn't know boss knows how to smile" he was already spacing out.

Earth to Ju long said Li Jaesun as he noticed his assistant didnt even acknowledge him. He flicked his fingers across his face and said, you look like you saw a ghost. N...No boss he stammered as he followed him to the car. Where to Boss he asked his boss who was still smiling even inside the car without knowing that his smile was creeping out his assistant and driver. Home he said...
