Another Encounter

Opening the door, in front of him is a drama that is just unfolding. Because the room was spacious and there was a divider that is for a waiting area for the patient's family and another room that serves as a small kitchen, but even so, the people inside were so focused on their argument that they did not notice the man that has entered the room.

Alice did not expect that the mother and daughter duo was here in the hospital even though her father has told her that they are not here, from his call a while ago. What is even more shocking is that they had the audacity to make noise while the Old Madam is resting.

Alice entered the room and finds her stepmother sitting in the sofa, reading a magazine, no sign of being stressed at all, even though the old woman on the bed her mother-in-law. While her stepsister was wailing so loud inside the room where the patient was lying in the hospital bed. The cries were so fake, even Cathy Xi was frowning but still continuing to read the magazine. Alice smirked and wanted to say out loud that maybe the crying was to irritate the Old Madam to wake up.

Cathy Xi glanced up and saw the little bitch entered the room. If not because she had a source, she wouldn't know that this little bitch is going back. That is why she coaxed her husband a couple of times to tell her if Alice was going back but he never said anything until today. She immediately rushed to the hospital and even grabbed Cassandra from a photo shoot to take with her to the hospital to greet that little bitch and remind her who's the boss.

The wailing was all an act, while Cassandra had crocodile tears for twenty minutes but Alice has not yet arrived. She is beginning to get dehydrated and she already feels her voice getting hoarse.

"Alice."

Upon hearing her mother calling the bitch's name, she immediately stood up and looked if the Old Madam is conscious or not. Too bad she still isn't.

Instead of greeting the Madam in front of her, she left her suitcase outside and straightly walked to where her grandmother is, ignoring her stepsister's scorn that is visible in her pretty face. Upon checking if the Old Madam was conscious or not, and saw that she isn't, she then proceeded to where she came from to get out of the room.

Seeing that the bitch did not even greet her, Cathy followed behind Alice. She then blocked the way to hold her back.

"Where do you think you're going?" Cathy's voice was loud, but still, the Old Madam sleeps. (She looks like she was sedated or something.)

Alice knew these people will not let her out even if she avoid them, after all, this is the first time they see each other after five years. These years has affected her puberty and was already the height of a model at 169 cm. She then looked at Cathy, her eyes looking down to meet Cathy's eyes.

"Hello to mother and sister. I shall be going back now that I see that you are both here to take care of grandmother." Alice slightly smile as she speaks while stressing the words mother and sister, then proceeded to walk towards the door.

As she passes by Cathy, the latter then gripped her arms to hold her down. Alice's face immediately turned into a frown as she does not like anyone to touch her due to the abuse and trauma she had in childhood and she only let her very close friends to freely touch her. She then forcefully pulled her arm away in disgust as she felt her skin being touched, especially by the woman who has done her wrong.

Because of the force, Cathy Xi who was not prepared, nearly fall back, only that it is a shame she did not because of her daughter's reflex.

Cassandra viciously stared at Alice while cursing her. "You bitch! You dared to hurt my mother again!" After she stabled her mother, she went forward to confront this 'little sister' of hers. She wanted to slap her, and she used her full strength to do so. Unexpectedly, Alice has anticipated the attack, and instead of it landing to her cheeks, she managed to dodge. Cassandra on the other hand, having failed to slap Alice, and instead, slapped nothing, the full force she put for the slap has made her body twist and she fell butt first on the floor.
