Lang Lin

Wang Ming initially wanted to explode at the person shouting at him from the door. But when he realized it was Lang Lin, he reeled in the anger. Though he didn't like that, she bursted into his restaurant unannounced. So he couldn't help but say to her annoyingly.

"Next time, please knock before you open the door, Miss Lin. Don't kick down my door, I could have dropped my knife and hurt myself."

Though after saying those words, Wang Ming finally comprehended that it was Lang Lin. How did she know he had a restaurant? How did she know where it was located? He hadn't met Lang Lin after saving her from the thugs, so he couldn't understand why she knew where he was. She shouldn't know any of the people that knew about this location, only three people know, Peng Tong, Meng Hao and Louzheng.

"How are you here? We haven't met ever since I saved you. I didn't think that you would be out on the streets again so soon. Aren't you afraid?"

After saying those words, Wang Ming noticed Lang Lin's body shudder. It seemed like what had happened left a scar on her. He couldn't help but soften his voice and say.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to bring it up again have you been well?"

Wang Ming's words comforted her. Especially after hearing how gentle he was, made her feel much better. Ever since he had saved her, Lang Lin had been at home and not gone out. Every time she l looked outside to the streets, she felt paranoid and scared. The only thing she had been doing these past few days were to use all her energy to work at the company.

Her father, being the leader of the Lang gang, made it so she could have guards around her everywhere, which eased some of her fear. But she still couldn't help but always look behind her when she walked and would react to men coming close to her. She would only go out with guards now or else she would just stay in her room or work.

"I'm much better now I know it will take some time for me to get over it, but I will. Also, I'm sorry I felt excited to see you again. So I opened the door harder than I wanted too."

Wang Ming felt glad she felt better. It wasn't his fault that this happened to her, but he still felt guilty as the perpetrator was his father. She looked more relaxed than moments ago, which was a good sign. Though she didn't answer why she knew he was here, so he asked her again.

"That's great, but how did you know I was here?"

It puzzled Lang Lin that he asked her about how she knew. Lang Lin had taken him home four days ago and left a note on the table, with her number on it. But even after four days, he didn't contact her once, which made her think that Wang Ming was avoiding her. Since she had heard from her guards what had truly happened after she left the scene after he saved her.

When she heard her uncle had left Wang Ming for dead, she berated her uncle for hours. She still hasn't fully forgiven him yet, but she also understands why he did it, even though she doesn't agree with what he did. If Peng Tong didn't save Wang Ming, then he would have been dead. Her father had been an underworld leader ever since she was born she clearly knew what the thugs of HouZi Gang's capable of she were sure that they would have killed Wang Ming.

After she found out, she tried to find Wang Ming to apologize and compensate him. Which was the day she found him drunk, sitting in his wheelchair in the streets. Even though he was drunk, it seemed like he was half consciousness, since he still answered when she asked him about his address.

Seeing him blacked out, she pushed his wheelchair to the restaurant. He said he was living in. She didn't know what Wang Ming had done the last few days, but she felt impressed in only a week and a half, Wang Ming went from scrapping his food truck to opening his own restaurant. Especially since she knew that his economic condition wasn't great. It was a topic they had discussed multiple times when Wang Ming still food at FanLang market.

Seeing him change so drastically, she knew it had to be something to do with his condition. Someone had to have beaten Wang Ming up and destroyed his food truck, which was his livelihood. But she didn't feel it was appropriate of her to ask. Since they weren't that close to each other yet, she would wait till the day Wang Ming opens up to her.

Though even in her wildest imagination she didn't think that Wang Ming could secure a restaurant in the center of the FengShong market. She knew that all the restaurants and shops in the center of the FengShong market had at least a net revenue of 50 to 100 million yuan a year.

Arriving at the restaurant, Lang Lin searched his body since Wang Ming had fallen asleep. She found the key and unlocked the door. Entering the restaurant Lang Lin felt like she had stopped into her home, she felt her body was lighter and more energetic. She then placed Wang Ming in front of a table so he could rest his head on it and wrote him a note before going. She didn't want to snoop around his restaurant without him being awake.

"Don't you remember I took you home the other day when you were drunk? Didn't you get the note I wrote to you?"

Wang Ming frowned, hearing what she said. He couldn't remember at all. What note? He thought.

Lang Lin saw him frown and his confused look. He hadn't seen the note.

"Looking at your face expression, you probably don't remember. Don't worry finish your business then we talk."

Wang Ming got anxious and snapped his attention back to his braised pork belly. He had totally forgotten about it, since Lang Lin and her condition had totally distracted him. Luckily it still looked great, cooler than it was earlier, but touching it, it still had the same bounciness and texture it had just a while ago.

Finally, taking the knife and cutting into it, he felt like he was cutting into jelly, which was a good sign. Though it should still have a bit of chewiness on the meat, taking a pair of chopsticks, Wang Ming took a piece to try. But before he could place eat it, he felt a hand on his shoulder and saw Lang Lin. Opening her mouth and snatching the piece of meat from his chopsticks.

Seeing her snatch the meat Wang Ming wanted to reprimand her, but he it looked so erotic how she took the piece of meat from his chopsticks with her mouth. Since the piece he cut was pretty small, she put a fourth of the chopstick in her mouth and slowly released it. Giving the illusion that she was sucking on the chopstick, after eating the piece of meat, she arched her back and let out a moan..

Which made Wang Ming sweat. Her moan was too intense for him. He didn't know that Lang Lin had such a sexy side to her. Though he knew that she probably didn't do it intentionally.

"Lang Lin, are you ok? Why did you make a sound like that? Was the meat satisfactory? I put my heart and soul into making it."

Lang Lin was usually not a person like this. She didn't know why, but when she saw the piece of meat, Wang Ming held smelled the aroma. She felt compelled to snatch it away from him. Lang Lin smelled nothing when she got into the shop, since she was absorbed in her thoughts then in the conversation. And she stood by the door at least 5 meters away from the kitchen.

But after tasting the pork belly, Lang Lin felt like she lost control of her body for a split second. She had never tasted a pork belly dish like this before. It felt so magical. It was so tender inside, and the fat from the pork almost melted in her mouth.

Though it wasn't only that the pork belly tasted amazing also, it had a strong taste for the first seconds, but then it instantly mellows out and has a pleasant aftertaste. She felt like she had gone to heaven and back, that's why she unintentionally moaned. It was a reaction from her and her body.

"Wang Ming, I don't know what you did with the pork belly, but it's the best pork belly I've ever eaten!"

He knew that Lang Lin was a big foodie, so hearing her praise made him feel honored, even though Lang Lin had ate many times at his old food stand, she had never complimented his food ever not like this.

When cutting a bite for himself, he heard a cough from his side and saw Lang Lin with a small blush on her face. She looked incredibly cute with red cheeks and a pleading smile on her face.

Cutting another piece for her, he could finally take a bite for himself. Putting the entire piece in his mouth. Wang Ming closed his eyes and put all his effort in feeling and tasting the meat. Wang Ming couldn't help but also slip a moan out of his mouth. The meat tasted incredible!

Feeling slightly embarrassed, he opened his eyes and saw that Lang Lin was laughing at him. Glaring at her, he cut another piece and re-immersed in the tasting. This was definitely the best piece of pork belly he had created in his life. He wouldn't say it was perfect, but the taste and the texture were more than satisfactory for now.

He felt more satisfied with the texture than the taste, though. The texture was almost perfect the only thing for him to do on that was to find out the right duration to cook the meat. Wang Ming felt committed to perfect this recipe later on.

As he was going to celebrate for the success of his dish, Wang Ming suddenly felt his head hurt. Making him scream out which shocked Lang Lin, who didn't bother to cut the meat anymore but took a fork and grabbed the entire piece and ate from it. Dropping the meat on the ground, she ran towards Wang Ming checking on him and found that he had passed out.
