Sickle Weasel of Rommel

In a certain area of Grand Line, a single standard Marine ship was caught in a terrifying storm while thunderous clouds hovered over the entire sea.

The Marine ship is none other than the ship under Rey's command; Even though it's a regular occurrence in Grand Line but the weather today is a bit unusual in the sea.

"What's with this weather?" Many soldiers complained.

"Oi, look something is falling..." One soldier suddenly said looking at the dark sky.

"Idiot! Get out of there, a block of large ice is falling. If that thing drops on our ship, then we are done for."

Many soldiers in the dock began to panic and run aimlessly from here and there.

"Don't panic, use your strength and coordinate with other soldiers to block the ice..." Mia said commanded the soldiers.

"Yes, Commander."

Rey also came out of his cabin hearing the loud commotion. As soon as he came out, he saw the ice blocks falling on their ship.

Rey used 'Geppo'and kicked the ice block as big as him towards the sea. Soon, more and more ice blocks began to fall from the sky, it looked more like an Ice shower.

Thanks to the combined efforts of Rey, Mia, and other strong soldiers they successfully came out of the stormy area without any losses.

Rey and his subordinates faced many such situations like this for the past two months since they were assigned to patrol the areas near the Lulusia Kingdom in Grand Line.

Yes, it's been two months since they captured Silver Gale pirates. In these two months, Rey captured many pirate crews with bounty ranging from 30 Million berries to 80 million berries.

Due to his outstanding performance, Rey's promoted to Commodore while Mia was promoted to Commander. Even some of the lower-ranking soldiers on the ship were promoted according to their contribution.

Rey's name and fame began to spread throughout the Grand Line and four seas. Pirates even gave him a nickname called 'Rookie Crusher'.

Even so, it was just a piece of news for a few peoples; Especially, characters in the New World didn't even care about this as he was just a fledgling their eyes.

'Why's my strength not progressing anymore? Nowadays, Physical training doesn't grant me any gains as if my physique reached its peak. But, why can't I sense my third gate?' Rey pondered, relaxing in his cabin.

His progress in strength stagnated ever since the fight with Silver Gale Pirates. Rey has done whatever means possible to improve his strength but everything is only for naught as if his body reached the limit.

Rey is frustrated and dejected about his condition. He knows his strength has reached the peak of the second gate and only a single step away from opening his third gate.

That's also the problem since he wasn't able to locate his third gate. He has the potential hidden inside his body but doesn't know how to bring them out.

Rey's thoughts are interrupted by the sudden knock of his room and noticed Mia coming in with Den Den Mushi.

"Rey, call from Headquarters..." Mia said and passed the Den Den Mushi to Rey.

"Moshi...Moshi" Rey answered.

"We are speaking from the Headquarters, can I speak with Commodore Rey please?"

"Rey here"

"Commodore Rey, we got an urgent call for help from Rommel kingdom; Something which couldn't be seen with naked eyes is slashing the civilians. You need to reach the Rommel kingdom as soon as possible and look into the problem."

"Report to us in case if you need any reinforcements," Announcing this, the call from HQ ended.

'Kacha!'

As soon as the Headquarters mentioned the Rommel Kingdom, Rey knows this occurrence is because of Hakuba, Cavendish's other personality.

And, Rommel Kingdom is from where the legend of Hakuba originates or at least his first actions ever known.

"What happened?" Mia asked.

"Someone has unleashed havoc in the Rommel Kingdom by slashing innocent civilians. Since Headquarters want us to be there, then no one in the Kingdom wasn't able to do anything to him." Rey replied.

"What? Do you want me to call the reinforcements?" Mia asked.

She knows how powerful the guards of the kingdoms are. If even they aren't able to stop a single person, then Marines won't be of any help even if they go there.

"No need. We will go there by ourselves and check what's causing the destruction...Change our course towards the Rommel Kingdom" Rey said.

Once Mia left the cabin, Rey was lost in thought, 'Sickle Weasel of Rommel'

'I think Cavendish won't be as strong as he was shown in Dressrosa. Since he isn't even a pirate now, he should be only slightly stronger but the same couldn't be said about Hakuba, his alter ego.'

Rey knows everything about Cavendish, he was born as the prince of the Bourgeois Kingdom. Cavendish ran away from the kingdom for being too popular and was forced to live with just 74 underlings and 500,000,000 bellies.

In the series, his alter-ego Hakuba, also called the Kamaitachi of Rommel, was infamously known as a strange wind that would cut people. The Marines that were sent to investigate would only become his victims.

Soon afterward, Cavendish set out on his own to become a pirate.

Unlike in the series, now Rey is going to investigate the Hakuba. He also knows Cavendish is a genius in the sword arts but right now Rey's problem is Hakuba.

Even so, Rey is not the least bit afraid but was excited thinking of fighting the strong opponent.

Rey came out of his cabin and asked the navigator, 'When we will the ship reach the Rommel Kingdom?'

According to the navigator, they will reach within a few hours since Rommel Kingdome is not far away from where they currently are. Soon, Rey arranged for the meeting to discuss how to deal with the issue.

Inside the meeting room, high ranked officers, Mia and Rey discussed the plan for a whole one hour before deciding how to approach the problem.

After finishing the meeting, Rey reached his cabin and practiced his staff techniques since his opponent is proficient in sword techniques and he also knows, to confront Hakuba with barehand is foolish without knowing Haki.
